Stayed here over the new year 2023 weekend and no regrets! It was one of the more affordable options within walking distance of medano beach The ruta del desierto bus from sjd airport actually stops right outside but we did not know and so we walked 10mins from the paraiso mall bus stop in the dark. Silly us! The bus was about 40 pesos per person! Much cheaper than other private tpt as uber cannot pick up from airport. We got around by foot / uber most of the time. Uber rides are a few usd to the marina/ beach area. The room is actually more a one-bed appartment then a hotel room! So much space and you could cook your own meals. Instead of a key, they give u a passcode to open the door. Which is good i guess. No risk of losing your keys. The new year countdown at medano beach was so lovely. The weather was perfect. Chilly but super comfy when bundled up. All the restaurants were so expensive so we just bought supermarket wine + cheese and found a spot on the beach. Even the restaurant goers came onto the beach at some point since the view was much better. Other than fireworks set off by the various resorts there was also a drone show. We had to walk home after the countdown as it was not possible to get an uber after many tries. Cabo overall was great. Friendly locals and wonderful beaches. Felt really safe too. One of the locals in fact told us that the problem is if people came looking for drugs it might be quite difficult to find (at least on the street we were staying on). Cabo was definitely alot better than cancun/tulum in terms of trying to travel on a budget. Even the beach vendors were nice and not aggressive. Will be back!

Attention traveling remote workers! This minimalist, eco-friendly stay—just as good for a vacation—is perfect for anyone who needs a reasonably priced space that accommodates remote work with amenities. They have great wifi to work on, a nice kitchen area for when you want to eat in/cook your meals, and a spacious bathroom. Hotel Casa Palo Verde is especially perfect for those who prefer travel for a local experience than to stay cooped up in a resort. The lodging is well-located for foodies, shoppers, and those who enjoy city walks. Accessibility note: there are no elevators so this isn’t a wheelchair accessible property. The staff is helpful and kind. They’ll arrange airport pickup and drop off and provide a few activities to consider. I plan to lodge here again!

Minimalistic but very functional and clean. Pool is freezing (but we knew it is not heated). Beautiful lobby. Everything you need in the kitchen (stove top, microwave, fridge, coffee maker WITH coffee provided!) Pots, pans, utensils. Very helpful staff. Fairly close to the marina, bit of a walk to the beach. Lots of great local places to eat nearby..

I loved this hotel. The only terrible thing was the 5 hour live music pounding through the walls on Saturday night between 1040p-330a. Otherwise, it's comfortable. The staff is nice. The aesthetic is cool. The keyless rooms are great. It's walkable to most things. I like that it's away from the tourist area.

A great place. I felt safe and clean being here iykyk. The front attendant was super nice and very accommodating (she brought us towels while we were in the pool). Mailob and I were happily surprised at how clean and minimal the place was. Also the room was spacious. 10/10 would recommend ✨

Great people who have built a truly great boutique hotel. With just 10 rooms it really feels like you are at home. They give really peraonal service with the owners working their at the hotel. Rooms are big, new, modern, and extremely clean. Tvs all have Netflix on them for you to watch. Located centrally within 5 minutes to the beach, clubs, food, marina. Access is all keyless so you don't have to worry about losing keys when you go out. I am a local and Cabo and discovered this gem while looking for a place to stay while my house rented on airbnb, I have also used it to book the entire place for groups I host. Can not say enough good about the owners and this hotel.

The hotel is quite nice and the installations are in very good condition, it is very well connected to the tourist area about 4 blocks away and the hotel staff is quite nice. I would definitely stay there again.

A really nice place with very helpful, friendly staff - I'll definitely stay again. The suites have heaps of space and the communal area is very pleasant. The coffee machine, with coffee provided, was greatly appreciated! It's a 20 minute walk to downtown - convenient but also far enough to be away from the hustle. The staff are a particular plus point, especially for those of us whose Spanish is limited, as they speak very good English.

I cannot overstate how incredibly helpful Eunice and the entire staff at Casa Palo Verde were during my short but perfect stay. Communication through text was great, and the place itself is beautiful, clean, and comes with all the essential (and even many bonus things like cookware) things you might need. Truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

Smart layout/ design, beyond crisp and ultra clean-minimalist practicality. We are spending our last night here but if we had known sooner of the place, we may have booked since it is also smartly * priced*...Palo Verde is smack in middle of a typical neighborhood if the visitor wants to see how some locals may live.

Perfect studios 10-min walk from the center (marina/shopping mall), very clean, kitchen with basic stuff (plates, pans, coffee maker) so you can cook for yourself easily. Very friendly staff, they give umbrellas and towels for the beach. There's small swimming pool. One-minute walk to a good restaurant with daily menu for 89 pesos (very tasty chicken in mole). There are buses passing by on the street or the next one (other direction) that take you to SJD airport, center, other beaches in the area. Highly recommended! I would definitely like to come back.

Clean, super responsive and friendly staff! I like that the hotel is far from the touristy area and resorts so i got to explore the local neighborhood. I was traveling by myself and I felt very safe walking around and at the hotel.

Clean and in a quiet local neighborhood. It was nice to walk and discover this neighborhood. We walked to many great restaurants. The bedroom had AC and it can be very cold. Staff was friendly, they arranged for our Covid tests, the nurse came to the hotel for this.

Left a review on booking.com & removed it after a month since the staff person (I know who u are) posted a response making unfounded assumptions about and attacking my CHARACTER. Watch them leave a response here doing the same. Be careful of hotels that have no name out front and u need a buzz code to get in which u weren’t given and you’re standing on a dark street after getting dumped off by the milk run airport shuttle. Dangerous and sketch.
