Few hours away from the city. We stayed here for a night. Price of the room is 4999 pesos good for 8 people (it was Pearl’s Place - a building about 5 mins walk from the restaurant). The room had no private bathroom (we used a common CR about 20 available). They have rooms with private CRs too. Food is expensive but tastes good. They do not have a menu. The food are prepared ahead (carinderia style).

Another very beautiful beach of our country. Staff was very accommodating and courteous. Except for the toilets, which were ALL out of order during the time we visited there, the place was good. The boat trip we took going in and out of the island were uneventful, which was good. We upgraded our rooms without any problem.

Had a great time with this one of a kind beach resort, it is not summer when we went here, only a few people are here so we enjoyed lakawon, you dont have to bring cash here because you to load it by the port with the cash card. Very techie! Food are expensive though nevertheless its a good experience to be here.

I’ve been to Lakawon so many times but last Sunday, May 15, 2022 was the worst. All was well until it hit 4PM. It was raining in the island but the rain eventually passed and the sea was calm so there should be no issue with the boats. They said it was low tide so only 2 boats were operating with a crowd of 1000+ waiting for their return trip. They for sure already know that they accommodated so many people, they should have increased the number of boats so the return trips won’t be a hassle. Each boat probably accommodated 30 pax. They didn’t have any announcements to customers saying that you should get a ticket number for your return trip. So we got one of the last numbers and were the last people on the queue for the trip back. No one from the management approached us and told us what to expect. They should have had a plan to manage this kind of situation. The ticket queuing isn’t enough of a solution. You guys should know how many people are in your island and everyone is paying a good amount to get there so adding more boats or tapping other local boatmen should have been your next step. Announcements should be done by your staff and also do something for the inconvenience caused to your customers. You could have given complementary drinks to lessen upset customers on the delays. That toilet area from the dock smells so bad and leaves a lasting impression when you leave the island. I’m not really sure if it’s worth coming back to.

View is spectacular! Food is okay but the island itself is beautiful! It was worth the time, money, and travel time! Please go here!

Lakawon is an island paradise that has an evolving resort with great amenities. It''s easy to reach via Cadiz Viejo. It's just an hour drive north from the capital city, Bacolod. The recent development of the island is indeed a plus to visitors as one now can enjoy the island that before was so limited. Now, it has airconditioned bathrooms, restaurants that offer pinoy food, a floating bar that offers free beer and relaxation within the sea, rooms that are so clean and comfortable, the island free of villages and a pier.
