    The worst McDonald's ever. We go there often, only because it is convenient for us but we have had enough. Every time we go, we ask to ourselves what's going to be wrong today? Yesterday we waited for 25 minutes only to have to chase our breakfast order, had to go and get the food so our table order was a no, and the order was wrong, twice. No apology and the food was burnt, the hash browns were soaked in oil and it got stuck to the paper cover, so the hash browns broke in pieces when trying to eat them, stuck to the paper pouch. It's too much, the staff and managers seem not to care. They had a terrible food hygiene rating until recently, never seen before at a McDonald's in the UK!? Now we will be going to other fast food restaurants or to other McDonald's as this one is a shamble a joke.

    Greeted with a 'what do you want?' Missing hash brown from order Hot chocolate lukewarm and only half filled 2nd time this has happened. No 3rd chances.

    Not usally a breakfast person but this time it was awful service the food was so poorly presented and quality was definitely below standard, drinks 1/3 full.     I don't like leaving negative reviews but honestly the service here is just rubbish. Unless you go first thing in the morning you'll be waiting a long time for your food and a lot of the time it'll be wrong. The focus seems to be on delivery orders to the detriment of restaurant and drive thru customers. The staff are doing their best but honestly it's not good enough.

    This has to be the worst McDonalds in South Wales, if not the Uk! Even though this is 1 mile from where I live, I will travel to Nantgarw in the future (4 miles away). I queued in the Drive Thru for 15 mins even though I had ordered via the app and was told to park up as my order wasn’t ready. 30 mins later waiting in my car I marched into the restaurant to see where my order was. The manager gathered it but was going to just leave me with a sorry for the wait. I asked to be refunded as this definitely wasn’t “fast food” but was told it wasn’t possible so I took an offering of cheese dippers as I didn’t want the food for my family to go cold. On arrival my wife told me her burger was burnt so I’d had a guts full and that’s why you’re reading this. Give this McDonalds a miss!

    Big Mac was pretty dry, even though I ask for extra big max sauce to compensate for the dryness they usually accolade that. For some reason yesterday they refused. Weird.

    DISGUSTING PLACE. Not my first choice McDonald's but when I do go, it's because it's local and convenient. However, NEVER AGAIN!! I found an intimate hair in my fries. No apology from the manager, or any other member of staff for that matter. Absolutely disgraceful. "Jo" has absolutely no clue how to deal with genuine complaints, or how to provide good customer service. I do not recommend!

    I live in Caerphilly and I now boycott this restaurant! The staff are so rude! No care about customer service at all! I asked for advice on a meal and they couldn’t help or tell me anything! The amount of times I’m told to park up for the most basic of meal! You get half a cup of coffee! The Uber/just eat drivers just take over the restaurant, their very rude and priority goes to them every time and internet orders! It’s a one star rating for a reason clearly! Not going there again! I’ll drive to nantgarw as the service is much better and their busier

    Absolutely awful service, when my order arrived it was wrong, drove back to store to and the staff corrected my order only to get home and find hair in my food. Once I rung up about this I was told I’d have to bring the evidence back down meaning I would have done 2 trips to there when my order was a delivery order. The service was absolutely shocking and the hygiene levels were shocking too. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going to this McDonald’s. They recently got a 2 star hygiene rating and had a grease fire from not cleaning. They then had to pay to get another inspection done and bring the standards back up but clearly nothing has changed and the hygiene levels are atrocious

    Over the years I feel like this store has gone downhill so much and taken on more than it can handle to the point I would rather drive to nantgarw than go to a store thats less than 5 mins away from me. My three previous visit have seen me face a wait time of aroud 30 mins in drive through for what is barely warm food, and to be greated by staff who don't care how or what they say to and infront of customers. I think after tonight's visit it will be my last for a long while and i thnk the staff would benefit form some form of basic customer service skills.

    Well what can I say I'd put 0 stars if I could few times I've ordered and something has always been missing never had a full order correct and today all the food was missing and only drinks came I called the shop to be told sorry its still here will make it fresh and send some one back with it I called them at 7.30 pm its now 8.51 and still no order my kids are hungry and tired so I've had to cook them pizza which I should of done to begin with coz macdonalds is a joke the past few weeks I never request refund or leaves bad reviews but this is getting beyond now and it will be the last time I orders food for delivery again I spends over £50 a time so not good at all macdonalds sort it out

    As many people have stated in there reviews, it really is ridiculous!! They prioritise delivery over their customers who come in and the waiting time is stupid.. supposed to be fast food lol! The system for drinks is also wrong, they leave drinks especially thick shakes and pop ready for orders.. by time u get them they r flat warm and thick shakes r like water! U need to do better for ur customers!

    took the grandkids for some food. orders were slow to arrive. needs to be more seats around kids tablet area as mine wanted to play on them but I couldn't sit close to them to supervise

    Excellent location, loads of parking, extremely happy and competent staff. Only issue is the spikey tyre ripper on the way out, I know it’s to stop ppl entering the wrong way but brings the place down a tiny bit

    9 times out of 10 there's something missing from your order. Drive-thru is hit and miss - I've been given a completely different order to my own multiple times now 😕 had a breakfast roll where the bacon wasn't cooked...and this was when it was quiet there... And yet some days you can't fault them. Quick & efficient during peak times without a single hiccup.

    Really really busy and very well staffed with people walking the floor keeping the place tidy and checking in on customers. Floor staff were also handing out balloons to kids and families and all the staff seemed in good spirits and working together well. Food was typical mcdonalds, reliable but not soecial.

    As someone who frequents various McDonald's country wide... Caerphilly's is, as always, the worst of any I've ever visited. I regular this one, purely because it's the only one in close proximity. Given the choice I would absolutely go to an alternative one but no other McDonald's exist within a decent radius. So, let's talk food: Food is 9 times out of 10 given to you in the worst state possible... Burgers are poorly presented, burnt or often covered in the burnt remnants from the hot plate, missing alterations/customisations (i.e. extra bacon, no sauce, etc etc) and lukewarm to cold by the time it reaches you. It's more than evident that it was NEVER hot enough as you can see the cheese hasn't melted to the patty even slightly! I've many times had removals left in my order and had to throw it out because I've not noticed till I've arrived home and purely can't be bothered to drive back and fight for the right one anymore. If I was there, absolutely but for takeaway, well I can't imagine anyone would want to when it's raining! I shouldn't have to microscopically examine my food before leaving to ensure someone followed the build instructions. One day someone with a severe allergy will get hit by this, and that's the scariest part. Duty of care seems non existent in this one. EggMcMuffins ALWAYS have egg shells in the egg.... Cmon guys, I'm so fed up of feeling shell between my teeth as I crunch down on it. It puts me off my food and I'm picking shell grit out of my mouth for hours afterwards. Chips.... It's either extremely oil sodden or so dry you could build a house with them. Sometimes there's no salt, other times it's salty enough to make you gag, speaking as someone who likes a decent amount of salt on food it surprises me it how varied their results can be. Along with the fact you can order 2 large portions and get two entirely different portion sizes is unreal... one is half empty and the other is a full portion... An easy to spot, visible difference that goes unchecked time after time shows the restaurants is either highly understaffed, staff are poorly trained or simply just have a lack of care. Chicken selects/Nuggets are often the only decently cooked product to come from the kitchen... And even then you sometimes see the burnt remnants from the last cook stuck all over the nuggets... Little burnt crumbs don't make them taste good. It would be nice to have HOT nuggets/selects from here one day but I'll take them being "edible hot" Drinks often come lower than the amount you order, for those unaware, there are markers on the cups as to where each size should fill to. 99% of the time they skimp on the drinks and you never get what you pay for. Café bites (i.e. Muffins/doughnuts) are almost always stale, never taste remotely fresh and for their cost I could go to Asda and get a pack of 4 that would be better quality for almost the same price... Don't get me wrong, no one goes to McDonald's for coffee and muffins when Costa is next door but that shouldn't mean the standards should be lower! Your order will almost always be missing something. I can't count the amount of times I've ordered mozzarella sticks, chilli cheese bites etc and had them not be in the bag. Due diligence before you leave the restaurant is absolutely required here, I've gone back previously and been told "I could've removed it and I just want free food" which has now made me always check my bag before leaving the car park/restaurant when I visit. Has it happened recently, thankfully no. But within the last 6 months, yes. Service is ALWAYS slow.... Waiting 20+ minutes for "Fast food" is shocking, especially when I can go to Cardiff St Mary's street and be served in 5 minutes. Tl;Dr: honestly, if you can, avoid this place. They've regularly had hygiene standards issues and have quite a low score (this can be viewed on the food hygiene standards website). Food is terrible, service is slow and you'll just end up being disappointed.

    I needed help at the, "Screen Meal Selector Panel" and instantly, a senior staff member helped. Food was served at my table. This level of service is a great improvement. All young customers were excellently behaved. So it was a pleasant dining experience. My favourite for the past 30-40 years is a Big Mac with Large Fries and Vanila Milk-Shake. I'll definitely call again.

    As far as McDonald's goes, this was one of the tastier Double Sausage & Egg McMuffin I've eaten. They actually managed to get a bit of char and crust on the patty which brought some flavour out.

    Early morning drive through was fast, with food served hot and coffee delicious. Evening drive through can be long and difficult. Eating in is always enjoyable, with clean tables and quick serving staff.

    I was served bacon in my wrap after asking for no bacon. I have not eaten pork for 7 years and I was very upset that I had accidently eaten it. The wrap label and receipt also said no bacon so it wasn't a problem with the order. I get that mistakes can happen but when I called he just offered me to drive back to the store to swap for a new wrap so I don't feel like he understood the point of why this was upsetting and how serious it was for me. I didn't care about having a new wrap, I just wanted it to be addressed and for staff to prevent it happening to someone else. Check your orders before biting into them.

    For a Mcdonald it's average at best on last 2 occasions fries and food have been tepid in heat. the outlet is always busy so food should be piping hot Hot chocolate is hit and miss as sometimes the chocolate is non existent It is a shame as it is my local place for Mcdonald It may get better one day if they had better audits

    McMuffin was very greasy and slapped together. Tried the new Galaxy Caramel latte. Asked for a large. The cup was large the drink was not! Only half full. No cream and only 2 mini choc stars.... Tasted of burnt coffee beans, not a hint of caramel.... What a rip off! Service at the first counter was shocking, but the chap at the second was lovely. Hash browns were nice and hot but overshadowed by the pathetic attempt at a festive latte. Only the third time we've ever been here, won't call again.

    Been here a few times always had lovely food and service but this time they where slow didn't came to take our dirty dishes had to go to the bar and ask someone to clean up plus we had to order dessert and more drinks and at the end had to pay at the bar and they took a while to find our order to pay, won't go there for a while now so hopefully when we do it will be better.

    Worst mcdonalds around. Ordered 2 bacon and sausages egg mcmuffins at the drive-through. I got given just muffins with sausage. No egg. No bacon. No cheese. How hard can it be? I didn't know until i got home, so always check your meal here before driving off. Also, they didn't answer the right-hand side intercom for ages while serving people on the left-hand side. Terrible service, terrible food, waste of time. Minus 100 stars.

    Its a maccies so it will always be awful. This one just particularly smells of sick, and the manager always has her belly hanging out the bottom of her top (ew). If you use the drive through, you will almost always end up waiting in the carpark (even for small orders)

    Takes ages to get through the drive thru then eventually get to order. and then told to park up in my last 3 visits get home and the food is only luke warm I live 2 minutes away, so should stay hot,I think l they concentrate to much on the deliveries so it not quick anymore it's just ask quick to go to a chippy now as you can be waiting 20 minutes in the Caerphilly mc Donald's

    The Uber eats delivery driver cockroaches have rendered the inside of the restaurant uninhabitable. You won’t get your food for half an hour so either drive thru or don’t bother Regular customers have to wait behind every single online order it’s a farce

    Self till. Was no printing receipt. The staff apologise. We all got wheat we ordered. It was a wet day and of course floor wet. They had a wet floor sign up. But there was a staff member near door to tell people as we came in

    Went through the drive through 40 minutes ago...still parked up waiting for the food. Whilst waiting we've seen probably more than 100 just eat deliveries leave with food. It's terrible how recently they only care about their delivery customers. I hope my little girl doesn't ask 4 Mac D's again, because I won't be a returning customer!

    Went after a shift for me to find the drive though close and for me to be turned down at the door saying they had a company cleaning for night. Edit: Second time coming here again they are closed for “cleaning” when I see no staff working in the back, I used to work for the McDonald’s on Newport road and they cleaned the place while it was still running so I don’t understand i don’t know what they are doing here but I think they just close the place sometimes for a night off when now I’m going without food mid shift at midnight.

    Had a few issues with placing my order on the app. Checked in and waited about 20 minutes to get my order. Team were clearly going between breakfast and normal menu. While I was waiting, about 5 people bought their orders back as there was mistakes, but our order was spot on, hot and fresh.

    2 stars same as food cleanliness rating. As said previously, this should be displayed before you enter the drive through. My order was wrong plus, the Double sausage egg Mcmuffin was burnt and cold.... Car park was empty, wonder why. Place needs a shake up!
