Explore this place to get a bit of history of the city. There are a couple of parks and monuments which are very nice because not all cities preserve monuments and parks. There are also ukay-ukay and other different local stores around. The local massage therapists are also there at night. Make sure to try exploring this place at night where there is more life. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, it is not as lively as it used to be. In the morning, you will be surprised at how silent and clean the streets are. Did not expect to see clean streets so this was amazing!

An old central park in Cagayan de Oro and now a city landmark flanked by bussinesses. It remains popular as a gathering place for almost any event, entertainment, political rally, photo taking, blood donation, or massage. There are many Kiosk and statues here, there is even a tourism office. There is plenty of seats to chill but the Philippines is a tropical country and therefore can be too hot for comfort during a sunny day.

If you are looking for a good stretch, then walking this plaza would be close to getting one. Looking at it, it’s a good sight to see in between two busy streets. It’s quite a small area but it will do. Not many cities in the country have something like this. Although it’s the same concept as that of Ho Chi Minh, not much should be expected. There are food shops around the area which your palate would look for after strolling around.

I like this place because this is the hearth of the city. In this area also was held the event like concert and the most famous night cafe before.

Needs face-lift from the city gov't. Most concrete floors and sidings have been damaged by tree roots. Mag sige lang na sila ug lalis diha sa konseho. Walay abot puro yawit. Sorry for the Bisaya language, but I need to release my frustrations to the elected city officials.

A lot of massage activities making this place busy every night. If you need some relaxing press on your back, feet or any body parts, then visit this place at night. There are also a lot of hanged ukays everywhere everynight and it's worth it sometimes if you're lucky enough to find a good quality ukays

The park, where you can usually find a group of youngsters playing happily together and teenagers practicing skateboard tricks and dance routines. The surroundings amuse me everytime I walk around the park. Plus, this park is known as a "meet up spot." 🀣

Lighter traffic than before, lots of stores to check. There is a Malunggay Pastel store here, cheaper than those sold in the airport.
