Although the waiter who served us did not speak English, the service was perfect and the para-verbal communication was enough to order the food and be amazed throughout the meal. Excellent prices, good staff, good food and drinks. We didn't take many photos because we went to eat. At the end of the meal we asked to take a photo with the waiter who cordially accepted. The photos of that moment remain. We are left with the memory of a place on an island that only gave us good things. Eternal moments and as we say in portuguese, "deixam saudades". We ordered Agnello and Porchetto. Awful meat. Not fresh and reheated! Tasteless! Waste of money. We discovered too late the water glasses with greasy fingerprints and the dirty toilet, otherwise we would have left immediately. A commercial cheap place, not recommended at all. It was recommended to us by an employee of Locanda Leonildo dal Buongustaio which was our initial choice, but had the kitchen closed.... Bad suggestion!

Absolutely fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. The staff here made us feel at home and so welcome. We broke thru any and all language barriers and were guided to the best menu items, had friendly banter w the wait staff and even learned about sardegnas history. Highly recommend, as we came here a few times during our stay in the city. Lovely experience.

We had a very nice dinner here, this restaurant was reccomended to me by some friends that live here and it didn’t dissapoint. The service was 10/10, we heard the waiter speak at least 4 languages and we got the food really fast although the location was almost full. The food was great, as well as the wine, the staff was friendly and we overall had a great experience. Would reccomend!

The food is exceptionally well served, well done, and really good, and the decorations are unique. Staff with a good sardo way, always smiling, and pay super attention to the table. Everything on point.

Our absolute culinary highlight in Cagliari! Amazing Pasta, great meat dishes and unforgettable service by the main man Francesco. They do not serve seafood and if you try their specialties you will understand why. They clearly have mastered their craft of serving traditional Sardinian cuisine with a special touch of hospitality. 5 stars fully deserved!

The food here is traditional and ridiculously affordable. The front of house led by Francesco were amazing and they make you feel like family. We went back twice and couldn’t fault it.

Sardinian style restaurant with good food. A lot of space both outside and inside. Staff was prompt and friendly but the quality is questionable 🤨 I was expecting more for the price comparing to similar restaurants in Sardinia.

We went to Su Cumbidu 3 times throughout our stay and every single time the food was amazing. We tried traditional Sardinian board of cheeses and meats, culguriones, malloreddus, horse and donkey steaks, and porcheddu. We couldn't fault any of these! Apart from the food, the staff was extra friendly and very attentive - special thanks to Francesco (I think that was his name ;P). On our anniversary they served us as gift: free shots of the local spirit and also some cakes - a really nice gesture! Highly recommended and if ever back in Cagliari we will definitely visit again!

Really great restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was the best we've had in Cagliari since we arrived. We had one of the daily menu's which comprised of various starters, mains and other courses and there was so much food that we struggled to keep up! It was a great experience and overall, we were at the restaurant for a good few hours without once being pressured to leave. In fact, our waiter was giving up plenty of time between dishes to relax and let out food settle. Very reasonably priced too and if you're in Cagliari, we would definitely recommend a visit!

They had the best tiramisu I ever had. Ridiculously good. We had a nice dinner here, all the food was great, staff were nice and spoke English. They were happy to explain the local meals and recommend dishes.

Food is very good. We went there twice, it was four of us and the food was spot on. Fair price for city center. They give you bread on the table, if you eat it, it will cost you 8€. Service very good, atmosphere as well.

Su Cumbidu offers good food at decent prices. We had a mixed cheese platter as the starter and afterwards the fregola con birdura (with mixed vegetables) and the zappuladdus. Additionally: One bottle of water, half a liter of red house wine and at the end two house liquors (mirto). Altogether we paid 54 Euros which is a really good price. Was tasty, would order again!

Food was absolutely delicious. The Sardinian roast pork was outstanding. Good value too. Service was acceptable but not fantastic, had to ask for a menu.
