I was expecting a very active market, but at about 10 o'clock, the seafood market was already closing. However, some of the remaining merchants were very pleasant, and they even recommended the tasting of their own processed seafood. If I had gone a little earlier, I could have seen more ... I'm sorry.

I love markets in general and this one fits right in. Great variety of cheese, fish, vegies and frut, lots of bread and snacks (sweet and sour). You can even grab a lunch on a way out. Parking in front is small but you don't wait too long for someone to leave.

INCREDIBLE! Whatever budget or dietary requirements you have to go here. Absolute highlight was Profumi di sicilia and their cannolis and arancini (recommend the ragú arancini, much better than the mozzarella and prosciutto). Best cannoli I’ve ever had! Underwhelmed by this market. Not much available it’s mostly just raw fish and meats. No fresh food and no eating scene. If you are a local it can be worth a stop but nothing for a tourist to come here to see.

Local market with variety of stalls with all types of food. Great place to buy bread, fresh produce, cheese and local specialities. It has two floors with the lower one mainly with seafood, fish etc.

This place in Cagliari is a must visit! I've been to some markets in other parts of Italy and Spain, but this one I liked the most! It had everything from vegies and fruits, to cheese meat, seafood and even more! Especially if you're a seafood lover this place has such a big assortment and so fresh, right from the sea 🤤

Everything you want from pigs to vegetables. Good wines, cheeses and salamis.

Fantastic must go experience. One of the great food markets in Italy. Bottom floor is devoted to fresh fish, crustaceans, etc While the upper floor is all about meat, poultry, and produce. A great place to explore for local artisinal cheeses and cured hams, prosciutto, mortadella, etc.

I wouldn't bother going out if my way to go here again. It sold nice fresh fruit, veg, meat and fish, but there was nothing 'ready' to eat at all! And extortionate prices for tourists. They could see us coming a mile off and charged 5 Euros for the tiniest punnet of strawberries! I wouldn't add it to your iteniary at all.

great local market selling fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries, cheeses, fish, meat, and some other non perishable groceries. i recommend getting here before 11am as many market sellers have sold out by this point. very reasonable prices and sellers often let you try some products before you buy. cheese can be vacuum packed to take abroad too!

This market is simply amazing 😍😍😍 On a Saturday morning, many locals were shopping their groceries on the two floors dedicated to meat 🍖, vegetables and seafood. This market really gives you a lot of inspiration for a healthy life 🧬🧬🧬

Downstairs is a huge fish market which wasn't really our thing but upstairs was bakeries, fruits, cheeses and more which were amazing.

Loved it, or at least my wife did. Signora, signora ... lots of attention. Barely an acknowledgement for me. Great variety of meat and fruit upstairs, incredible fish selection downstairs. Unfortunately, we were staying in a hotel with no cooking facilities, or we would have spent a small fortune on fish and seafood. Great place to visit, even if not buying.

Great local place, 2 floors. First with seafood 🦞 only and second with all kind of meat and bakery 🥯

Great selection of food, nice sellers, everything fresh and reasonable prices, a must see. Worth noting though, that it is open until maybe 2pm, but after 12 noon it is almost gone.

Interesting place in Cagliari for a quick visit in the early morning, at its peak. There are stores of fruit and vegetables, fish, and meat, like in any other market, but you also get to see shops specialised in cheese and pasta only. You can park right outside but make sure to get a ticket (it's pay and display parking).

The place had a great energy when we got there at 7:30 on a Friday night. We were taken to our table and found so many great sounding choices on the menu that we were lost. Fortunately, our server was amazing, and once we told her what sounded good to us, she helped us pick from among them (and suggested a couple others) to form a terrific menu for us to share, and then recommended a delicious, affordable Sardinian wine to go with it all. Most impressive was her knowledge of the food and its preparation; I love it when a server understands the food that well!

Best place to buy cheese. Went to this shop and had to opportunity to taste all kinds of cheese, before buying some. Also you can buy all sort of fresh food and beverage.
