Hidden gem of Cairns. Too bad we have only discovered the pub on our last night. The portions are huge Crock schnitzel and Roo steak were super delicious We couldn't fit the famous Death by Chocolate dessert, definitely will be back for more

Generous servings and a fun vibe. Not much lamb in my curry, but that's a minor complaint. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious food but I had ordered soup for entree and kangaroo and croc for main meal . I had received the buzzer go off for my soup, when I sat down to start to eat my soup the other buzzer went off for my main meal. Had to try and eat both at the same time with one of them going cold. Why couldn't they deliver my meal later after my entree instead of The same time. Disappointing.

Always decent sized, delicious meals and let's not forget the "Death by Chocolate" for dessert 🤭 The staff were friendly and there was a young waitress who simply stood out the night we went out for my nephew's birthday. If you want decent sized meals for your money - this is the best place. Well worth it. As a local this is a family favourite go to for dinners out.

The costumer service is Extraordinary and the staff are very nice to everyone. The meals are awesome and always great. They never let me down. The staff really help and guide you if you’re confused with something as they explain very Thoroughly through many questions. Issac was a very helpful bloke and was very open to regular chat but also still taking his job seriously when I wanted to know something. Great job!

Great staff, extremely polite and kind, excellent service. Great cold beers and amazing pub food served in very generous portions in a very nice atmosphere. We had the 500gr rump, which was very lean and tender, and the 1k smoked chicken wings, which were extremely juicy and simply delicious. Our suggestion: that they start providing take away containers - I had mentioned that we wanted the full portion of wings because we would take whatever was left for the following day's smoko, but they did not inform me that they did not provide takeaway containers (the gentleman at one of the bars was very kind and sorted it out for me, but a container would have been a lot easier).

Amazing place to dine in. Value for money meals and some! Great service with a smile from all staff, meals are ready in no time. Great atmosphere, very family friendly. Staff turn over tables very quickly

Come here every time I come to Cairns, huge portions, delicious food and great price, can't go past the Giant Mexican Shnitty, pretty sure its actually a cassowary schnitzel going of the size!! Covered in delicious con carne, guacamole,cheese and sour cream, a delicious fresh salad and tasty crispy chips all for less than 30 bucks!.

Tried this place for lunch, they have parking around back which was nice as parking in the street was full. Ordered the Parma and then went to bar to order some drinks, food didn’t take to long to be made and the portions where large. Meal was nice and the Parma had a good crust to it. We sat inside where is was dimly lit and did have a smell of dirty carpet. Otherwise food was good value for money.

Awesome pub - one of the best in Cairns. 30min walk out of Cairns, best to DIDI /UBER if elderly. Amazing bistro serving all the classics, pokies for those interested. The pub has a huge footprint - with both indoor and outdoor seating for small or large groups. There are multiple bars and a great array of quirky items posted across the pub walls to keep you entertained. Worth a stop

I really enjoyed the food in this place, the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The only thing I am concerned is about the amount of food the restaurant disposes to the bin because every dish is massive.

Great food! And atmosphere, they cooked my steak perfectly! (something I rate harshly). Lots of taxidermy, which added to the feel. Place was visited by locals and tourists. I spose I fit in. Will go again, pretty impressed!

First time coming here and was fantastic. Customer service was great, ordered our food and didn't wait long at all. Food was delicious and was trying hard to eat all of it. Good size meals and prices are decent. Will definitely come back.

Great food for what you pay for. Quick and easy service. Warning tho. Portion sizes are VERY big and they don’t have take away containers. Parma was so delicious

Decided to check this place out as was within walking distance of where I was staying and having read some good reviews. Very good and friendly service. Meals were well priced. Decent sized meals. Popular place with the amount of people there. Plenty of street parking.

Proper pub, they've got tons of sports on, beers and food are a good price and it's decorated by lunatics. Had the Aussie outback Crocodile and kangaroo and it was really tasty, croc well tenderised and the kangaroo delicious, if a little overdone. Chicken schnitzel also really good too and everything with drinks being about $60 mean it wasn't too pricy either. If you want cheap hearty portions (you get a lot of food) and a decent pint, hard to find a better option around the waterfront.

Great food. Very generous serves. Ate here twice and loved the atmosphere plus the staff were good. Traditional pub fare. Won't disappoint highly recommend.
