Can't recommend, extremely poor housekeeping. Stayed 4 nights, questioned on day 2 why bedding and towels weren't changed, response was we don't change them during your stay. Bathroom didn't get cleaned, could continue, but surely you get the picture. Cannot recommend and will never be back.

Excellent location right in the centre of Cairns CBD with just a short walk to the aquarium or the beach, doubled up with a large room and an extremely comfy bed it’s the only place I’m going to stay when I come back to Cairns. The room was clean which is rare with other hotels in Cairns, and the bathroom was nice and large. Special mention to the Manager Jordan who attended to any request we had, going above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Front desk amazing friendly staff. Held our bags for us and arranged taxi for early next day . Unfortunately pool was empty. Would have been nice to have been notified about that before. I saw the breakfast room opened at 7am .was told its $10. But not told pay night before so your room key could open that door. We left at 7.15am. Fridge and microwave and tv and aircon all worked.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff were kind. They went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend the Tropical Heritage Cairns to anyone that is visiting cairns. Special mention to the manager, he was very helpful with a late check in. Em tasol 🇵🇬🙌🏿

Ugh... Rooms look like they need a lot of paint and new furniture. Creepy hallways. Smokers in next rooms smoke on their balcony which forced us to close our windows. Upon arrival at 1:45 PM, no way to find anyone even through the telephone at the desk that says dial for help. It just rings the desk that is empty! I would pay more for a better place next time we are in this city. They do have a parking lot but not private and a place where homeless or other riff raff hang out and scream in the middle of the night. Laundry is $4 for wash, $4 for dry and they they charge you for a tablespoon of powder.

Lovely small motel within walking distance from the Cairns esplanade providing easy access to restaurants, cafes and the local attractions. Room was functional and clean, but a little dated. Staff were very polite and friendly. Value for money.

5 stars not because it's a 5 stars hotel which is not. It's a 3 stars hotel and I got exactly what I expected from a 3 stars hotel. Basics amenities and great location. Between the esplanade and the shopping center.

We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff were very friendly and let us leave some luggage bags while we were away for a tour. Clean tidy rooms and the hotel had laundry facilities that we found very useful. House keeping staff all very pleasant and accommodating. We look forward to returning.

Very easy late check in, receptionist and staff were outrageously kind and helpful when we were in need of anything, the wifi was some of the best I’ve come across travelling Australia and I even chose to extend my stay here. Great hotel and walking distance to the main highlights of Cairns.

Staff are lovely, we stayed here after our little boy had surgery and we appreciated how helpful and caring the staff were. Bedroom studio had plenty of space, close to hospital.

We have stayed at the Heritage Cairns many times before COVID and keep coming back we stayed for 11 nights this time, November 2022. The management is great, staff super friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic for walking into the CBD or the Esplanade, Rusties Markets or the Aquarium. The hotel is clean and our room as usual was clean and ready to go. Had to do a late check-in at 22:30 at night, the process worked perfectly as did the door cards. If you want a no hassles friendly stay close to the CBD in a quiet neighbourhood, this is the perfect choice.

Friendly staff, lovely room, close to the action but not too close. Second time we’ve stayed here. Perfect if you need Cairns accommodation for a night.

Staff were excellent, rooms very clean. We had one extra person with us and they had a portable bed in our room ready upon arrival. Kids loved the pool. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

we really enjoyed staying in Heritage Tropical in Cairns, great location, great staff, very very friendly, helpful and efficient. They assisted us each time we needed it. Studio are nice large rooms with all facilities.

Our flights got cancelled so we had to find last minute accommodation. The guy working there, Jordan, was extremely sympathetic and helpful. Exactly what you want after a stressful situation. The rooms were neat and clean. If I come back to Cairns I'd happily stay here again. Thanks for the help!

The receptionist was very welcoming & super efficient. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and all the appliances worked. We were there for it's position to surrounding medical facilities however it's position would work just as well for tourist visiting the Cairns area.

Thank you very much to Jordan at reception for driving us to the airport off shift - customer service above and beyond. The hotel was great. Very clean and tidy, in room bar fridge, comfortable beds, great location (a few minutes walk from the Esplanade), staff are very polite and happy. There is a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and tables & chairs on the ground floor. The pool isn't a lap pool but it's suitable. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel. In summary - decently priced, cozy rooms, great location, exceeded expectations & met all necessities.

Definitely worth it value for money. Large rooms, very comfortable beds. Very clean and well furnished. Room service available which was unnecessary but was a real surprise. Very happy with this place. Only downside is the distance from the main tourist areas of Cairns is a good 10 minute walk.

I stayed in Heritage Hotel for 8 days this month with my wife and the moment we checked in we have already noticed the staffs were welcoming and friendly.Andrew even insisted to drive us to our destination in spite his very busy schedule for the day when he heard the taxi was late.Jordan and the ladies behind the desk were equally helpful as well.Rooms are clean and spacious.Enjoyed our stay and the hospitality as well.9/10....Thank you,Roel&Elna

A very nice motel to stay at if you are passing through Cairns. Clean, quiet, convenient, everything in the room works - you can't ask for much more than that in a 3-star motel. Just one thing - I would suggest a professional carpet clean if possible, because there was a mildew-ish, urine-ish smell in the room carpet.

Stayed for a week and will definitely be staying again upon returning to Cairns. Great location, great service, comfortable rooms and lovely views from the balcony. Staff were super friendly. Arguably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

Looks recently renovated. I stayed one night and my room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and the aircon could be adjusted to be quiet at night. I had a swim in the morning. The pool is small.

Heritage Cairns Hotel was the best. The room had everything you needed. It was very clean and the housekeeping girls even vacuumed. I can’t say the same for a lot of motels I’ve stayed in. I would highly recommend this place. It’s in close walking distance to the esplanade. And close to the RSL, which has terrific meals at a wonderful price.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay at the Heritage Cairns Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was enormous and comfortable, and the personal spa in the room was an absolute winner. Although locate right next to the esplanade, the place was very quiet. Finally, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
