For everyone, who likes a bit of adventurous hiking and loves the sea - this is your place to go. After you have climbed down the steep cliffs, you can see the ruins of ancient city and jump into the refreshing water. Hiking down takes about 30 minutes and your way up about 45-60 minutes. The path is not clear most of the time. However, there are many ways down and if you stay right you will manage. Please note this is a real hike so good shoes are mandatory and it is no Tour for little kids.

Great experience but I don't understand who manages to drag this hike out to 2 hours. I'm 16 and this was the first time I left my room since the pandemic; the walk from the parking lot to the cliff was 6 minutes, the hike down took 10 minutes and the hike back up took 15 minutes. And don't worry about "hiking shoes", sandals worked perfectly fine and didn't leave me in a puddle of my own sweat. The only thing I'd recommend bringing is a water bottle and something to eat while admiring the view (and a camera to preserve the memory).

Give yourself an hour each way from the top. Wear decent footwear, flip flops are no good. Tiring walk there and back but worth it to visit such a unique place.

What a dream to visit this magical landmark full of history and ancient wonder! Truly a breathtaking sight, worth the arduous hike back up to the car park. Only physically able may complete the hike to the ruins, but if you can make it you will not regret the hard work! Pro tip: beware the jellyfish! I was stung five times in the first five minutes of swimming into the open water... but it was fun and overall a fun experience to share. There are large tide pools to swim in and avoid them if that's your cup of tea.

This place is simply MAGICAL!!! It is unfortunate that only people physically capable can enjoy it. It is a bit rough on the way down , and definitely very demanding up! Bring plenty of water, food, and sun block. There are no stores or vendors to buy from. If you want to descend into the pools the best, safest and โ€œeasiestโ€ way down is from the left side of the big boulder (rock) as it faces the ocean. You can also go down from the right side of the rock about 80-100 feet away. But it is steeper and longer. The water, and many pools are so much fun. This location tops any other beach related activity in have done. VERY IMPORTANT: there is zero cellphone signal down there. So do with that information what you must. I HIGHLY recommend you wear hiking boots with solid ankle support and also bring good quality water shoes! Sandals, flip flops wont help much. Lastly, if you are not comfortable with nudity, avoid the spot. Personally i loved it. ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡ OK VERY LAST ONE: ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™ˆ - if you are not a STRONG swimmer do NOT jump in open waters.

Beautiful, but I would like to give you a friendly warning. It is quite a heavy hike to get there, so don't bring heavy stuff with you. Also, don't expect a pretty and sandy beach, it is all rocks and sea urchins. The ideal way to get here is by boat. Imho, it was not really worth the hike, the rock formations are cool, yes, but just not worth it. Also, expect to see a lot of 'insta-models' posing in front of these (at this point stupid) rock formations.

    - Bring water. - For all the tourists & adventurers: don't do it in the mid-day sun (barely any cover). - Don't wear flip flops, but trainers & supported shoes are okay. - if you're using online maps, make sure you have them downloaded (signal is bad). - It took us 30 minutes down and 1 hour up with 30 minutes at the bottom. - THE VIEW AND EXPERIENCE IS WORTH THE PAIN

Good spot for snorkeling!! One of the best beach of Ibiza. Clean until you pass the limit and follow the coast near boats. There is a good parking close to the beach when you come down. Donโ€™t forget your beach umbrella !!

Beautiful hike to see Es Vedra and Atlantis. Steep but short descent/climb so good shoes and plenty of water come in handy. The remains of the old quarry create some refreshing places to swim.

Put in your running shoes and bring some water. The hike takes 25 minutes down and 40 minutes up for most people. It is worth the trip down to the sea!

What an amazing experience and a must do in Ibiza if you like nature and historical landmarks. Wanted to see Atlantis (name its commonly known for) for years. Went on a Monday at 11:30 with 3 girlfriends and the 30min adventurous hike down was so worth it! What youโ€™ll need 1) Sneakers (no flip flops) or hiking shoes 2) Backpack 3) Food and water 4) Sunscreen and time. It worths staying for a couple of hours and the hike up later in the afternoon when the sun is not as strong anymore. Hike up was much faster (20min) but we went with a local guide.

If you like Hiking, have transport and some stamina then this short hike down to Atlantis is well worth the trip. Its also close to Es Vedra so you can combine both in one day if you wanted too.

Probably the hardest hike i have ever done, not so much because of the terrain, but because it is very very hot on a sunny day, no shade what so ever. Definitely bring water, because it is fun down there, you might want to stay and swim/chill. Be aware of jellyfish. It has a very unpleasant sting (ask me how i know๐Ÿ™ˆ). Many different paths to get down, choose whatever suits you. You can wear whatever shoes you want, but there is a risk of losing your toes if your stick with flipflops/sandals.

If you like an adventure this is defenitely your place. You need to hike for about an hour to get to this stunning place. Bring with you a lot of water and something to eat. You will need it. Ask somebody if you are not sure where to go. There are no signs. You need to find it by yourself. It's a hidden gem.

Amazing and fascinating place to visit. Tricky to find initially and it is a very steep climb down and back up to Atlantis ( if not decent level of fitness and unsteady on feet do not go down).

Don't believe the review left by the 16 year old. I think they have gotten confused between the very easy to get to picture spot and the swimming spot. It is a little tricky to find but once you know it's easy. Directions: From the car park walk straight for about 5-10 mins. When you get to a cross junction, with one path leading down hill, another straight forwards (to the picture spot ๐Ÿ“ธ) take the path on your left going up hill. Along this path keep picking the left track at each fork until you get to the top of the cliffs. Then begin the scramble down. It's very loose under foot, at points you will be on your bum and hands. It takes about 30-45 mins to get down, and the same to get back up (which is actually a bit easier) I've posted pictures of the steep climb and the view from the top of the cliff so you can tell how far the climb is. Take plent of water with you, there is no shade on the climb down. You will probably end up covered in sweat and dust so be warned if your planning on going anywhere fancy after. But its so worth it. Oh and the car park! There is a turning space at the end, but it's filled with pot holes that you could hide a cow in. It gets very busy so getting in and out requires a lot of patience. A much easier to access car park lies near by but adds another 10 mins to the walk

Amazing place, however, it is difficult to get there. You will have to climb, make sure you have plenty of water with you and some food too as you will spend around 3-4 hours and you will feel tired after this adventure. My boyfriend got stung by a jellyfish when we were swimming, so be careful.

Wear safe shoes. There is a long rocky road, and a shorter route at a harder angle. My suggestion: take the short harder angled sandy route down and the longer rocky road back. (We did the opposite.) Also,I wouldnโ€™t swim in the sea right next to the pool (or get too close to the water on the side of the pool) because those waves are seemingly quite hard core. Climb to the right (if facing the sea overlooking the pool) and slide in for an easy swim around the side. Oh yeah and donโ€™t take edibles and try to climb the hard angled sandy route.. You may โ€œdie a hundred timesโ€ like my friendโ€ฆ. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Steep hike only for the agile. The ground is unstable but the end is worth it.

THIS IS A SERIOUS HIKE!! Wear REAL shoes, bring water and snacks and unless FIT, donโ€™t take kids or a baby strapped to you. The decent is straight down the mountain and then back up the same way with half of it being in sand. The view is amazing and the ruins / Cove was stunning. Couldnโ€™t swim due to jellyfish but was worth the hike. Total hiking time about 2 hours. If coming from the parking lot just keep going straight to the edge of the cliff and then down, the hand drawn map is confusing. Not for the faint of heart. Saw a lot of people really struggling coming back up.

Great place but the way to get there is quite hard. Itโ€™s easy to get lost if you donโ€™t know the way. So my advice is to make sure to ask before or to follow someone who knows. The water down there is really beautiful. You can jump in in the water from several locations. And there is a sort of rock window thatโ€™s pretty cool.

Not easily accessible, but for all the effort you'll be rewarded fully.... It's an amazing place, very isolated with breathtaking scenery... Overall, it worth the effort

Nice, but it seemed like a lot of effort to get there and back. It's good if you're looking for something different and off the beaten path, but if you're only visiting for a long weekend, might be worth skipping this place and instead going to an equally pretty place more easily accessible.
