A
fabulous
place
that's
been
around
for
a
little
over
a
decade
but
one
I
only
recently
discovered!
A
few
quick
points
from
my
experience:
-Getting
there:
easy
with
Google
Maps..I
recommend
parking
closer
to
the
main
road
and
taking
a
short
stroll
to
the
restaurant.
The
view
is
worth
it!
-Reservation:
better
to
make
a
reservation
in
advance
as
you
can
place
your
order
beforehand..this
is
great
as
they
can
arrange
to
get
fresh
catch
and
produce.
However,
you
can
ways
order
sides
and
mains
according
to
the
available
stock
without
prior
booking
-what
I
ate
and
drank:
we
got
fresh
pressed
watermelon
and
pineapple
juice,
fresh
as
can
be
and
great
pairings
with
Konkan
Chicken,
Fish
Caldin
+
steamed
rice
+
poie
(local
Goan
wheat
bran
bread),
Fish
in
banana
leaf.
The
fish
was
fresh
and
very
tasty,
which
this
picky
Goan
whole
heartedly
approves
of.
It's
served
with
rice
and
a
moong
veggie
chaat
salad
with
pops
of
pomegranate.
The
Caldin
is
a
mild
creamy
green
curry
with
fat
cubes
of
firm
fish,
excellent
on
rice
and
soaked
up
well
with
poie.
The
fish
in
banana
leaf
is
truly
one
of
their
standout
dishes
and
pairs
well
with
the
accompanying
bell
pepper
rice.
All
this
food
was
more
than
enough
for
two
of
us
with
moderate
appetites.
We
nearly
skipped
dessert
but
were
kindly
provided
with
the
indulgent
in
house
Serradura,
which
is
a
must
try.
-pricing:
to
put
it
bluntly
this
is
upmarket
pricing.
It's
upto
the
diner
to
decide
whether
it's
worth
it
or
not.
Their
cover
charge
policy
has
received
a
lot
of
flak
on
Zomato
etc.
However
I
personally
had
no
issues
with
it
as
I
appreciate
their
initiative
to
provide
a
no
wastage-fresh
produce
approach
and
personalised
attention
to
diners.
I
also
appreciate
the
safe
dining
space
devoid
of
rowdy
tourists
which
is
a
rarity
in
such
a
prime
location.
-last
but
the
best
bit:
I
got
to
meet
Ms
Chai,
the
majestic,
rotund
lab
and
in
true
celebrity
style
she
made
sure
we
were
well
settled
and
snuggled
up
for
some
pets!
Mr
Biscuit
was
recuperating
and
I
hope
to
see
him
the
next
time
I
go
there!
-try
the
peri
peri
prawns,
grilled
lobster..have
heard
great
things
about
these
from
friends
