Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area’s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda

It is one of the most beautiful, clean and serene beach. In spite of being in North Goa, it is not as crowded like Baga or Calangute beaches. Most of the people visiting here are the ones staying at Taj holiday Village and Taj Fort Auguda. The sunset view is absolutely stunning. During season water sport facilities are also available. Some shacks serving drinks and food open between October and April.

Goa is always my favourite holiday destination without a single thought. I love the vibes & beaches of Goa with awesome people all around the world. If you are party freak then visit Baga, if you love peace then visit calangute. Note:- These beaches are in North Goa & i love this part a lot.

North Goa beaches can get a little bit crowded even when out of season, and you will be stopped a lot by people trying to drag you into specific bars / huts. You can just tell them No and keep walking. Eventually you will find less crowded spots where nobody will stop you on the way. Honestly, this is not my favorite spot in Goa and I prefer beaches like Arjuna . Now talking about South Goa , This beach is fascinating! The views are spectacular and the sunset is magnificent. A must visit for anyone in south Goa. The waters are nice and not too rough to swim. Coupled with the fact that this beach is away from the mainland makes it very serene without all the peddlers on other beaches. Good selection of bars and restaurants on the beach to enjoy a good night. Not too crowded, one can chill, and have a beer, and enjoy the evenings. Several cafes and bars available by the beach too. Car parking available near the beach entrance, and lots of beach stay options available around the entire beach periphery. At the end of the beach line, you can find rocks where one can hike to the other end and even find better and cheaper rooms and stays. If you are in South Goa, this place is definitely a must.

Goa, as usual, will fill ur lungs with refreshing breezes, but important to highlight that Goa Beaches have turned super clean due to lockdown... I would highly recommend to visit now if you want to have a experience differently than regular crowded garbaged beach...

Goa Travel Tips By Afsaar Malik 1. Goa is the best option for Budget backpackers and long holidays. 2. You can find Hostels starting from β‚Ή100 in North Goa and β‚Ή300 in South Goa(Depends on season also) 3. Madgaon and Vasco da gama are two major Junctions if you want to come by Train. 4. Delhi to Goa train cost is β‚Ή800 for sleeper coaches and β‚Ή400 for 2S class. 5. Food cost can be a little higher in Goa.....but Vada pav is available in just β‚Ή12. 6. Best season for Goa is October to January for the best weather conditions and Beaches are closed for tourists in Rainy season. 7. You can go Goa by Hitchhiking on the Roads like me.....and the Roads towards Goa are all awesome. 8. I started from Ahemdabad then via Maharashtra I reached to Goa without spending any cost on Transportation. 9. Scooty on rent starts from β‚Ή300 per day..... depending upon certain factors.....and yes........do make a video of scooty as a proof...... if their is any damages. 10. City Transport bus fair is 5 to 15 depending upon the destination.......and major change points are Mapusa and Panji.

A nice beach but with a bit of polluted water because a vessel sunk some years ago. You can see the Aguada Fortification in the left side of the beach. A magnificent view at night

Probably the reason you are here: Beaches! Goa beaches can get a little bit crowded even when out of season, and you will be stopped a lot by people trying to drag you into specific bars / huts. You can just tell them No and keep walking. Eventually you will find less crowded spots where nobody will stop you on the way. Goa, the jewel of India's west coast, is a paradise for travelers seeking a mix of relaxation, adventure, and culture. My recent vacation to Goa left me utterly enchanted, and I'm thrilled to share my experiences and recommendations. **Must-Visit Places:** 1. **Beaches Galore:** Goa is renowned for its stunning beaches. Don't miss Baga Beach for water sports, Anjuna Beach for its vibrant nightlife, and Palolem Beach for a tranquil escape. 2. **Old Goa:** Immerse yourself in history at Old Goa, home to awe-inspiring churches like Basilica of Bom Jesus and SΓ© Cathedral. 3. **Aguada Fort:** Discover the rich heritage of Goa at Aguada Fort, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. 4. **Dudhsagar Waterfalls:** A trek to these majestic waterfalls is a must for adventure enthusiasts. The lush greenery and cascading waters are a sight to behold. **Adventures Await:** 1. **Water Sports:** Whether it's jet-skiing, parasailing, or windsurfing, Goa offers a plethora of water sports. Try Calangute Beach for these adrenaline-pumping activities. 2. **Scuba Diving:** Explore the vibrant underwater world off Grande Island. Witness colorful corals and exotic marine life. 3. **Trekking and Hiking:** Aside from Dudhsagar, there are many trekking trails in the Western Ghats, such as the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary and Tambdi Surla Waterfall trek. 4. **Spice Plantations:** Embark on a spice tour to experience the fragrant world of Goan spices. It's a sensory delight! **Recommendations:** 1. **Cuisine Exploration:** Don't miss Goan cuisine. Savor seafood at beach shacks, try local dishes like Vindaloo and Xacuti, and sip on Feni, a traditional Goan spirit. 2. **Rent a Scooter:** The best way to explore Goa's nooks and crannies is by renting a scooter. It gives you the freedom to discover hidden gems. 3. **Respect Local Culture:** Goa has a rich cultural heritage. Be respectful of the local customs and traditions, especially at temples and churches. 4. **Sunset Magic:** Watch the sun set over the Arabian Sea at one of Goa's many beachfront bars. It's a serene and magical experience. In conclusion, my Goa vacation was a delightful blend of relaxation and adventure. From pristine beaches to thrilling water sports and cultural treasures, Goa truly has it all. Embrace the laid-back Goan lifestyle, and you'll return with memories that last a lifetime. Goa, with its warm hospitality and endless charm, has undoubtedly secured a special place in my heart.

Goa beaches are good for party and roaming around. The places are full of crowd. There are beach side clubs who are providing drinks and lot of food and fish options. The crazy and partyholic people come to goa and they go to beach for drinking of alcohol and enjoy the beauty of arabian ocean. The waves comes to the shore and sands meet them. There are loud music at night and it plays till late night.overall a good vibe of party.

As people say good things come in small packages, goa is such a package, beautiful beaches, some are good for bathing some are good for walk, activites, famous ones are baga, calangute, i prefer palolem and vagatur, silent beaches are cabe de rama, fort agoda is there along with 3 kings church famous for movie shoot, than there is old goa where st. Xavier church is there with no holy sign as it has been said to be built on shiva temple, dona puala, majorda beach, panjim casinos are few other bright spots to visit, overall 15 days are generally enough for people visitng goa.

East meets West in this sun-soaked state, where Indian culture intertwines with Portuguese influences left over from a 500-year occupation. The beaches have long served as a magnet for serene hedonists. To the north, the tourist-centric scene is prevalent, with an international flair that is now skewing more hip than hippie. Travel south for stretches of unspoiled sand and an escape from large resorts. Temples, mosques and wildlife sanctuaries provide diversions from the beach.

Visit South Goa if you love beach more or want to have a quality time but if you're a party animal, go for North Goa beaches specially Baga Beach. Southern Goa beaches are less crowded and more of a couple's place whereas Northern Goa beaches are heavily crowded and ideal for good food in Goa.
