the food is great, the waiting time is fast enough and the staff are all very attentive to customer needs, the location is just along the highway the parking space is the pedestrian walkway and can get crowded easily, the dining area is large but can benefits with little improvement on aesthetic side like placing ornamental plants on the side, my wife and I get teary eye because of smoke coming from their cooking area, will i come back to this place? definitely yes

Possibly the best gotohan in Calauan. It's a popular stop over among cyclists and riders. Food is served 2-3 minutes after placing your orders. The place is simple. There's some parking space in front of the establishment.

I was really not aware about the store. It was pure curiosity and amaze what was going on and why there was a lot of people line at the side of the main road and why there is a lot of vehicle on both side of the road. I decided to stop only to find out that it was just a small "carinderia". So i decided to fall in the line and try there food since i was already there. While in the line i already thinking of what will i eat, i think of meat and veggies already and may be some dessert but because i can not see the front i dont really have an idea what to order. When it is my turn that when i just found out that they only serve one meal which is Bulalo and you will have to choice for the size of your Bulalo, so i decided to choice the small meal only since i have a long ride. After choocing of meal i sit at the front of kuya matadero, i was looking for othere possible spot but the resto is full pack! Tourist come and go after they dine. When i taste and eat there special menu that was the moment i realized why people come to them willing to wait for there turn to serve even without available table and chairs, The meal is so special i was like eating in my own house and taste like my lola and mom cook. It so natural the taste of the meat was there and the meat is also soft enough for you to enjoy the meal. I don't know it was just Goto Bulalo and plane rice but i was surprised it was like eating to your lola's house. When i get home i search for this resto and found out it was the famous Goto Bulalo in Laguna. Wow men I don't really have an idea it was just a small kainan but people love them that much. I just love the experience, i did not regret that i spent some time to stop and fall in line just to know what was happening and i was happy that i did☺️ Thank you Pabings Goto Bulalo for your special meal☺️

Limited car parking but the front road is quite wide for side street parking. I think they serve only Batangas goto and rice. The price of goto ranges from 70 to 200 per bowl, depending on the contents and size. Service is very fast, despite the huge crowd. We were there 9:30am on a Wednesday. Ok naman taste of the overload goto (P200/bowl). Rice is P10 per serving. Tip: buy the spicy sinantolan, which is P130/bottle. It really rocked up our meal. Also, we liked the peanut cookies, parang peanut brittle na di matamis masyado. Pantanggal umay. The place is clean, but not suitable sa mga maarte 😂😅

No laga-laga better than Pabing's. I have to be honest, though, we stopped eating here for 2 years, more or less because of the experience we had with the food. Then we tried it again in 2020 and we were not disappointed. We opt to eat there in the wee hours (4AM) because the place gets too crowded until noon. And for me, the broth tastes different by then. I'm so glad that they no longer serve it with bituka. Their recipe now is soooo much better than, say, five years ago. Although the prices went up, the quality dare I say is A+. No gunk and sebo, unlike other laga-laga that goes viral only to disappoint. There are times that the broth is too peppery for my liking, but other than that, hindi ko pa rin sila ipagpapalit.

Apr 9, 2023 Me, my bf, my brother and his wife had a ride on Easter Sunday. This place is trending if you are a rider. If you're not so "arte", the place is actually okay, not that elegant but clean. You will fall in line to order and pay, then your name will be called if your order is ready. One goto is 120 pesos without rice. 10 pesos for 1 cup of rice. The goto is delicious! It's just i don't eat fats, so for me it's three-stars. However, if you like fats, this is 100% FOR YOU.

Love this place!! The food was super delicious and the broth is sooo tasty. The meat was so tender and you couldn’t really tell it’s water buffalo meat… tastes just like beef! Everybody including the owner was super friendly. Price is cheap!

worth going all the way to Pabings... worth driving back to after we missed the turn... worth every morsel of the meat and the laman loob (worth the shoot up of your bp and cholesterol level so make sure you got your meds with you)... truly a great experience in a carinderia among the bikers and cyclists, regulars and first timers, families, couples, groupies and soloists

Came here to have a breakfast before we go on our way to majayjay laguna. As recommended by one of our colleague the goto calauan here is top notch. Very flavorful broth and meat. 1 rice is not enough so we ordered for extras. Highly recommended for a quick stopover in case hunger strikes during your trip.
