Great place to visit. It has a play area for older kids, a fenced off play ground, outdoor gym equipment, toilets, cafe, open park lands, a water play area, beautiful gardens, and a butterfly house currently under refurbishment so closed. We had an absolutely fantastic day here. Although I would recommend bringing beach shoes as some areas of the water play had green moss and were very sloppy, it's also good to know to bring some containers for tipping and pouring. I parked on a street that required you to use a parking meter, but I'm sure if I had, had a drive around there may have been free parking.

Fab small public park enclosed in a Victorian walled style garden. With a woodland perimeter and walks, a large green, play area and formal garden. There's also a butterfly 🦋house here too, but we just went for a walk to burn off Mcdonalds breakfast from down the road. This park is disabled friendly and there's toilets available although not sure if those are disabled friendly. Beautiful atmosphere at sunrise. I enclose several photos from my visits here over recent years.

Nice park for a quick walk. Decent sized play area with things for most ages. There is also a outdoor gym with a few different options. The public toilets next to the play area were well maintained. There is a "splash area" were kids can use taps and splash water area, it should be noted that this area does get slippery underfoot. The parking situation wasn't great, only a handful of spaces available.

We came here for a 5k run with Joe Wicks. Its a lovely park, including toilets, walled gardens, paddling pool, kids playpark, outdoor gym and tropical jungle experience. There's also apparently a cafe, however, this wasn't open when we visited. The paddling pool is great for kids with streams and water features such as taps to aid water play. The kids parks include lots of different equipment and there's also outdoor gym equipment too. The tropical jungle experience is great for a quid each (young kids free). There's fish, terrapins, butterflies and tropical plants. Not massive, but for £1 you can't complain. There's also an ice-cream van that sets up near the park, lots of flowers, plenty of picnic benches and loads of grass space. Recommend visiting this park.

A very good place to hand out, play or celebrate with Kids, family or friends. A very big garden with so much place to play. Special play are for for kids with lot of items. Jungle Safari is big treat. It will cost 1 pound each for elders, kids free entry. So many things to check out in jungle safari. It will not take much time around 15 min. You can find free of cost public toilets with good maintenance. Many times so many events will be happening in this place. Big car parking at front side. Elders can take a walk or rest while kids enjoying the playing activities. If you are in Halifax must visit place.

Pleasant well kept park, with a gentle slope, a cafe, a manicured flower area and children's play section with climbing frame. Free entrance and well loved by local dog walkers.

I had some time to kill between the hotel kick out time and the event I was going to so I thought I would go exploring, with my camera in hand. What an absolute find Manor Heath Park was! Watching the wildlife playfully flitting about, seeing a wide array of fabulous doggos, and being surrounded by a plethora of beautiful flowers was just an ideal way to spend my Sunday morning. I can only imagine how beautiful it all looks when fully in bloom come spring time. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

So glad to see the butterfly house back open again. Is very small but for the £1 entry fee its still great value for money. Lots of plants with information about them tonread and see plus the terrapins and butterflies.

Lots to do and explore with the kids. The flower gardens and plenty of walking spaces are nice. There's a bit of a water play area for kids as well as a normal play area with climbing frames, swings and slides. The jungle experience is a nice touch too. Highly recommended.

A park full of exciting activities for children with beautiful landscape gardens and scenery. Variety of play areas including a butterfly indoor jungle experience for only a £1.00 Definitely recommend all year round. A cafe with outdoor outdoor seating with plenty of picnic areas and a regular ice cream can. clean wash/rest rooms for visitors including disabled toilet facilities. Parking is on the main road around the park which is difficult if you he young children.

Really enjoy walking around this park with the dog. Always clean and well looked after. Lots of play areas for kids, coffee shop and the grounds are beautifully kept. There’s also an area with fitness equipment.

One of the best parks I’ve been too in ages! A great playground for toddlers to older children, an exercise area, a water play area for the summer months, a cafe, and a tropical house! Absolutely fantastic and well taken care of.

Nice little park for dog walks. Good little play area for children, with a water play area in the summer. Small cafe within the park which opens sporadically. There is a butterfly House, but I don't think that has been open since covid!

Nice park with children play area which can get very busy in the weekend. The park is comprised with woodland, big field. We played cricket with kids. Very peaceful though lots of people were around. Children loved it. Saw people doing BBQ/picnic. Parking free in the weekend just outside the park. Well maintained. No toilet facilities observed. There is a cafe in the entrance which probably open in weekdays.

Me and the kids love it here. Plenty of room to run around and the Jungle experience is now open again! It's £1 per person and cash only I think. It took us 10 min to walk around it but the kids really enjoyed it. We will certainly go again.

We called in for a lunch break at the cafe, where we enjoyed turkey and stuffing sandwiches, along with a coffee. This was freshly made, by the very friendly staff, who we were able to chat with before other customers arrived. A pleasant way to enjoy a 'quick bite '.

Love manor heath park, loads for the kids to do with the play area and the water play section. And loads of room for football and dogs to run around. Was a tad misty while we were there but still lovely. Little cafe was open so we could get a drink.

Great mark, we have a 16 month old daughter and travel here. It's the best one in the area. The water play area made from the traditional paddling pool is great in summer. The slides and swings are for all ages. Set within a well maintained park with great grass areas. Credit to calderdale, (I'm really not there biggest fan) but this place is well looked after and maintained in the spirit of its original creators.

Nice space close to the hospital plenty of play areas for kids, benches for picnics and cafe with reasonable selection. Jungle experience is currently closed though

This park surpassed our expectations. Good play areas for mixed ages, well kept gardens and the jungle experience may not be on the scale of something like Tropical World but for a £1 entry fee was a surprise treat. The terapins were out in force as the sun was out...all 48 of them! Lots of open space for balls games and picnics. I can see that when the water play area is on it will be heaving and parking could be a challenge, but definitely worth a visit.
