Our 1st time here was given the tip of by friends and wasn't disappointed with the surroundings and the location with outside seating which was made perfect by the fantastic weather. The staff were very friendly and professional and fitted us in for a meal without booking. Would highly recommend looking forward to next visit.

Exceptional food - we had 2 steaks cooked to perfection, with peppercorn sauce -which was possibly the best I've ever had. The chicken curry, described as absolutely delicious and better than ones from the local curry house. Seafood dish was fresh and mouth-watering. Starters and sweets were equally as good - not a massive choice for sweet. Vegetarians are well catered for too Easy parking and great view of the lake.

What a location! Came for a quick weekday lunch on the terrace and wasn't disappointed. It wasn't busy when we came so service was quick - obviously can't comment on evenings or weekends. Staff were friendly and it was very clean, inside and out. We chose to sit outside on the terrace as it was a nice day, the views are great and there was a bit of a holiday vibe going on with the chilled house music playing in the background (some other reviews mention music being too loud but we found it fine although this was only at midday so...). The food itself arrived quick and was very good for the price, which is more than fair compared to pricing at other bars/restaurants. We ordered a steak sandwich and a chicken burger - both came with fries (LOTS of!) and a nice fresh salad. The chicken burger was one of the best I've ever had, the coating was like a lovely, crisp Panko breadcrumb on a butterflied (not sure if that's a technical term) chicken breast inside a fluffy brioche bun. The only downside is that it didn't come with the "casa sauce" as described on the menu, but I wasn't too fussed about that. We both ordered a pint of Corona which were £5 each. A bit pricey, but in the current climate its expected and probably not far off the going rate nowadays anyway. It's also one of those places that you don't mind paying extra as the location itself is superb when the sun's out. We will certainly return!

This a great place, a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Nice polite staff and a lovely clean place. Nice and modern all about the place and it overlooks a nice lake on the back. I've had the luxury of staying here in the past and the rooms are nice, bright and clean. The breakfast was also lovely in the morning.

Attended a wedding 3rd June 2022. My nephew has a severe dairy allergy and would like to say a big thank you to all involved in catering you went above and beyond to ensure he had some lovely food .

Heard the food was nice from my family but the veggie options were bland and not many to choose from ,but what I was most concerned about was the boss as soon as I walked in within 5 minutes I see him talking to an employee like dirt, he even came up to our table and called them lazy! Waitresses were lovely despite him treating them horrible, kept a count on about 10 instances where he was horrible in my 2 hours there, twice right in front of my table, I’ve worked in this kind of environment and can tell it’s not just a little snap when he’s annoyed as it happened numerous times. Hire staff with experience and pay properly if you want perfect waitresses ,It’s a high pressure environment and their on stupidly low wages, and they’re probably burned out,your business isn’t their be all and end all, they were doing a great job! Give them a break.

Poor service,downstairs bar closed on a Friday evening. Up and down the stairs to the bar, no waiter service. Then when you order your food to eat outside. They bring it to your table and tell you to get your own cutlery & sauces..never known that before. They're are cutting corners on service to save on staff wages..won't be going again.

Some staff nice and helpful, others not so much. I was here for a wedding and felt that more could have been done. The outside area is amazing though and beautiful views across the lake.

Absolutely stunning place ...excellent food...and service and staff were lovely ...saw a fox by the river and a black stoat came and said hello ...Will definitely going again ...love it ...Worth every penny ...

Excellent staff went out of way to assist. Food was finger buffet and very good. Would go again and though this time I didn't stay would stay over next time variety of rooms and all well appointed

We Visited Relatives in The Area on Sunday , Visited Casa Again and Had Sunday Lunch Option Sirloin Steak, Tomahawk Pork Chop With All The Trimmings Excellent Quality Food, Great Value, Superb Location Cannot Fault Anything

Only ate location is epic , like something abroad almost classy. Steak on stone is impressive. Onion rings freezer bag... Pizza is hit n miss bar is good. Service wasn't 5 star nor food but would go again .

What a strange hotel. Initial bookings were stressful - some of us paid up front, some of us weren’t even asked for an initial deposit but assured we had a room. Many of us were told we had booked room 15. I’ve still no idea if breakfast was included or not - there was no menu and we were just asked if we wanted ”the breakfast” or not. Some of us were asked to pay for it upfront, some of us didn’t pay for it at all. I mean, the hosts were more than friendly - one of the men told us all that he worked there but was having a day/night off, which left us confused as to why he’d want to hang out at his place of work, but there we go. On arrival they told us our friend’s room didn’t have hot water. Although the hallway had ceiling panels that looked like they were about to cave in and a carpet that needed a good bulldoze, the rooms themselves were nicely clean. Well, my one was - my friend showed me a photo of her bed which had a mixture of thick dust and confetti all down the side. It was like the rooms hadn’t really been thought through, like, a kettle, but no plug socket near by. No cupboard/hang rail to put any clothes. No hairdryer. Certainly no space to open a suitcase. We randomly found out that the keys to each room work on every room, which of course is a huge safety breach. This needs to be rectified immediately. Nice view of the river and trees outside!

Been here a couple of times. Once for a meal and again for a wedding. The food is very nice and well made. Also the staff put on a great event for the wedding and had an amazing night. The room was very nice and clean. A little on the small side but well furnished and had a very nice bathroom/shower. Great views from the terrace overlooking the lake too.

Shocking staff. Shocking owner. The fact the owner allowed wastes to flow in to the lake is one thing. The fact that he allows his staff to not care about customers is another. We won’t be back

My son visiting me from Leeds insisted I took him for lunch. I'd never been and he had heard it was nice etc but OMG never again. They had one poor guy on his own trying to serve everybody. We stood 15mins waiting etc. The clientele almost drove me away to be honest. They let in all the local knuckle draggers and what looked clearly like drug dealers. Will never go back. Shame because sat outside in the sun with nice views etc They could have a super place. Had their casa burger which was nice a 7 out of 10 for food.

Lovely location. Fantastic veranda with views over lake. Perfect in summer time. Food good. Service good. Nice bar area.

Food was simply beautiful with excellent service. Weather not its best but can imagine sitting outside in the sunshine with the picturesque view. Definitely will be back. Get yourself down there you won't be disappointed.

Food and service are great. Drinks are very expensive though, £3.50 for half of Peroni. Also, it felt cold inside the eating area.

We went on Sunday with my wife son daughter in law and grandchildren. We all had Sunday roast. Beef lamb chicken . This really has got to be the absolute best Sunday carvery I/ we have ever had. Cooked to perfection.. taste out of this world and quality meat and veg.. real homemade gravy. If you get a chance to try this it's a winner every time. The management and staff are fabulous!! 5 *

What a disappointing first experience. Booked the table at 4pm, were sat down in the bar for about 20 min instead of 5 as told. Nobody approached so had to asked if the table was ready. Finally got to the table and were left for another 30 min to take our order. It was a bit busy but not that busy to just leave the customers without any attention. Pizza for my son came after another 30 min, our food never came as we were fed up to wait. No proper apology, so left this hungry, mad and disappointed. Service was extremely poor, nobody pays attention so our first and the last time here. Avoid!

Came with the family last night as my niece had booked for her birthday, food was OK but expected exceptional at the price they charge, restaurant manager was very attentive to us but noticed he was very rude to the waiting staff, don't understand why as they did a great job, they were very polite and helpful, amazing views but won't return in a hurry.

Heard really good reviews, menu looked good when we looked online! Walked in expecting to be greeted and taken to the table but had to walk to the bar. Not a good start! Very noisy and generally loud. Waiters were slow to come and take our orders, had a different person coming to us each time. Alleges to be a proper restaurant and wants to charge like one but this is not the service you receive! Food was acceptable nothing amazing. Bill came and they still got it wrong and not apologetic at all even when we told them that we were disappointed in the whole evening. Very disappointed

My daughters wedding receptionist held here at Casa . We stayed two nights the first night we had a all meal (excellent), Staff were very friendly along with the bar staff ,waiters whole team 👍. The Wedding planner Kat was amazing and went above and beyond for my daughter and son in law's Wedding day one of the best days of our life. Not forgetting Claire who offered assistance support . A very massive thank you to all at Casa. 👏👏
