Absolutely amazing shop for everything you can think of. I was a little sceptic due to some of the photos I saw on google however when you walk into this shop you soon see it has everything you can ask for. I bought everything I needed and more for my alter. The owners (Janet and John) are just so helpful, friendly and really genuinely lovely souls. Definately revisiting . BLESSED BE

Today is the first time in many years I have visited The Friendly Dragon - I dont know why ive not been back sooner! I will most definitely be visiting more regularly. Today I just felt like something pulled me inside, I was meant to be in there. The shop smells beautiful, the couple are so genuine, welcoming, clearly passionate about their gorgeous shop and it shines out of them both. The energy inside is so calming and nurturing. Today I bought some sage which came with a lovely written details ade by Janet. I also got a moon ology diary, a couple of crystal bracelets and some affirmation cards. They also share my love of Cornwall! I could have stayed for hours talking to them both and looking round the shop. What a little gem in my hometown Halifax, I'll be returning again ASAP and recommending it to my friends and family too. Thank you and see you both soon Emma xx

I've been to this shop four times and the lady who owns it is always so helpful and happy. I wish I lived in Halifax so I could go more often! There's a wonderful selection of crystals, candles, ornaments, incense, books, art and everything else weird and wonderful :)

I have really wanted to like this shop. The shop contains a lot of items that I am curious about and interested in. However I feel the customer experience is really ignored. Many times I have gone to view the shop and an owner is sat in the middle of the shop floor sorting stock, I could not view the range of products because I couldn't get around. The owners also display many tiny breakable items on the floor, not on proper display shelves or cases. I can't move very far through the shop to get to view the items, I could barely reach the card machine to pay for my items, the way the shop displays items like this makes it very hard to get close to view items. If I could get to the items, I might buy them. So typically I'll find one shop owner in the way sat in the middle of the floor and the other one hovering. I walked in the other day and both owners were standing the middle of the shop without masks on, not behind the counter, chatting to other customers who didnt have masks on, only when i entered wearing a mask, did a customer put their mask on. I rarely see the owners behind the counter, this doesn't help with physical distancing at all. I had been around the shop and was waiting for the section to be come available, both owners seemed oblivious that they were in the way. One of the owners tried to be helpful but kept coming towards me instead of standing behind the counter. For those of you who also find this shop a difficult customer experience, try Mystical & Magical, and Creative Crystals in The Piece hall, or try Hebden Bridge. I like to support local businesses but im at the point of giving up trying to be a customer to this shop.

Very friendly environment & always a warm welcome when you walk through the door. You always feel good vibes & noticed straight away. Lots of beautiful products to choose from and many I could recommend. There’s a great deal of choice when it comes to all spiritual paths. From books to incense, crystals and a plethora of jewellery, house decor, decks and so much more. Shop is always bursting with colours and energy. There’s lots of hand painted artwork everywhere that’s incredibly inspiring. 🌟🔥❤️😍

So many pretty things, the staff are friendly and it's a good place to go if you want something a bit different
