You can look down on entire city of Guanajuajuato from Pipila hill. There are many one way street in the city anc could not drive there so I parked my car in the city and walked up the hill. It took around 15 minutes to clumb to the top using stairs with many houses on sides. If you want to save time, I suggest driving to the top as there is some parking space there. I only went there in the fternoon but should be beautiful in the evening as well.

They are great gifts for friends. Then we made our way down through the winding narrow stone path ways, back to the centre of town, getting lost then finding our way again. We did this a couple of times during our stay. You can climb up through the inside of the statue on narrow stairs to a high point.
