A great location for hiking, exploring, scenic views, and to learn the history of the limestone kilns. The maps along the trail were easy to follow. Really enjoyed climbing through the caves/crevices between the large rocks, with large ropes between the trees to guide hikers through the area.

It's a great hiking trail and kinda very wild scenery. You have multiple trails to walk on and there's a cool cave like path too that gives a different kind of feeling. The best part is to drive to the area. You can really enjoy the drive. Large farms and trees all the way. Just amazing. See the attached pics. You can enjoy tracks and also enjoy lovely greenery and trees all across. I wish I could see some wild animals but nothing. It wasn't busy on sunday and so I think you can take a chance on weekends too. It's best to go when the weather is nice. Parking: It has a big parking lot which is nice and it's free. There's an emergency restroom (plastic box). There's a park/ picmic area too for playing or having family lunch. Worth spending my afternoon.

The conservation park is really nice and we had a great time hiking. There are places where you get off the ladder and explore below ground level. It's very exciting. However, I would not suggest this time of the month. We cannot see fall colors and almost all the trees are leaf less. 2 weeks earlier, probably would have been a good time.

The drive to the lime house conservation area was scenic. Multiple trails with different challenging levels. The hike itself was scenic. It took us 80 min as we took our time walking through admiring the fall colours. There were maps located all along the trails advising you were you are. At one point you do have to climb a ladder (rocks). Majority of it was on flat land with occasional peaks. I did notice one out house bathroom but no toilet paper. No issues with network Plenty of parking (free) Dogs are allowed

I really enjoyed my experience here. The trail is straight forward until you get to the rocky area. There is a rope to section off the ledge of the rocky decline. Then you get to the ladder that descends to a cave. It's quite calming once you make it down. Then the trail regains it's ease. You will see a creek with some ruins. A beautiful park to visit

Absolutely beautiful area, the trails are well defined, but are not maintained in the winter. There is ample signage about trail difficulty and history of the area. It's a beautiful little secret hidden way. I can't believe I've lived around here for so long without knowing about it.

Making a trip up north to see the parents and decided to make a stop to stretch our legs. What a wonderful Conservation area! Of only the other communities could take notes. No fees, free parking... Just an awesome settling to enjoy the beauty of nature. Definitely need to make another trip back to explore more.

An impromptu trip for a fall stroll with our pup turned out to be amazing! Pretty trails with options to make it a long or a short walk depending on what you’re feeling that day. We initially planned for a short walk, but with the cool breeze and pretty fall colours of the trail, we ended up taking the long way to spend more time there. Only thing is that there are ticks around so if you bring your pup with you, make sure they’re well prevented and check for ticks before getting in the car.
