The receptionist did not speak english, the whole hotel was full of mosquitoes, the breakfast was very inadequate, wifi was not working even though we were on the 1st floor. This was the first room they gave us.

I'm sorry for what I'm going to write but I'm more sorry for people spending money thinking to go for a 4 stars hotel while I'd objectively would rate it 1 star. Rooms are small, forniture way outdated with totally poor taste, broken even, they never got replaced since I guess hotel been there. Breakfast, also terribile, that was my first time in life to refuse coffee, machine should be shot down instantly, it tasted old and I'm quite sure it didn't get any cleaning job in the last years. All of this, wasn't even cheap, it's pure scam that should come to an end, starting in taking away Stars from this hotel. And yea, I don't care it got a pool on the side, I need to sleep in a functioning room and not die from old food, thanks

This is not a 4 star hotel!!! It isn't even a 2 star hotel, you won't find any of the stars you are looking for. Where ever you are coming from, you can't imagine how bad it can be. BEYOND ANY WORDS. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! I MEAN SERIOUSLY DO NOT GO THERE unless you are earning money from You Tube and you are planning to do review about world's worst ever hotel!

I recently stayed at Hotel Delta Florence and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the warm welcome I received from the staff, who were always friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with modern amenities and comfortable rooms that were spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept soundly every night of my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the breakfast buffet, which had a great selection of delicious items to choose from. I especially enjoyed the fresh pastries and the coffee, which was some of the best I've ever had. The location of the hotel was also convenient, as it was close to public transportation and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Delta Florence to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Florence. The staff, facilities, and amenities were all top-notch, and I would definitely stay there again in the future.

We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The second day we did a village trekking which was guided by Raj, who works as a waiter in the hotel as well. Raj is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the three of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural bath on the end was a great way to end the trekking.

The hotel is 20 kms away from city centre...worst location...room looks clean at first but wash basin was not working, AIr conditioning was not working, intercom was not working and neither was wifi connecting. Staff was not hospitable. We needed hot water for baby milk, first they couldn't arrange it and when I did, the bar charged me 50 cents for water discharged from coffee machine. This place is mainly used by Lori drivers and construction workers for overnight stay. I hardly saw any family or a female, except me and hotel staff, at this place. People would stare at you as if you have landed in a Zoo. Seems like this place is also used for other non respectable work I cant mention. Not at all recommended, worst place to stay with family.

this hotel was great, comfy beds… rooms cleaned everyday, beautiful view from our room and all the facilities actually worked (tv/ bathroom/hairdryer/wifi) Allessio and Marisa are a great asset to the hotel the friendliest people ever 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 if only they worked at the reception aswell they would make customers feel greatly welcomed with there big smiles and awesome service. Big thanks to both of them for their service they made us happy to come back to the hotel. Tips for future customers. If you want to get into central Florence, take the train from the train station pratigone to central, it’s cheap and a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Use google maps and beware of pickpockets in Florence Central!

The cleanliness of the rooms was very good. the staff is friendly and hardworking. Hotel rooms old. Double beds are quite big. Breakfast unfortunately not good. Breakfast was always full of sugar. Cheese and its derivatives were insufficient.

30 minutes by train from the central station. Nice and clean rooms with AC and balcony. Clean towels and room service every morning. Breakfast from 6:30 till 10:00, very good but mostly sweet food and some cereal. Pool next to the hotel is extra (we paid €5 per person, you need to have a cap - you can buy it there for €3 and you can rent a sunbed for €4). Not 5 stars because the Wi-Fi did not work properly. In overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Don’t go to this place. It is not a 4 star hotel at all. The rooms smelled very bad with a stench of cigarettes and etc. The rooms had bugs such as bees and cockroaches inside them. Definitely not 4 stars, It is a bad hostel at best. The breakfast was horrible and all it had was sticky croissants, some cakes and smelly scrambled eggs. One of the worst places for staying I have ever seen.

This is NOT a 4star worthy hotel. The rooms look like a hostel. They gave us a room that was not cleaned, towels all over the bathroom floor, unmade beds, full trash bins, the phone was not working and the A/C needed to be repaired. After complaining at the reception she offered to have the room cleaned, i pointed out that it is not done to rent put an un prepared room! They gave us a new room. Breakfast is BAD! Only sweets and cakes. I wanted to take hot water for my tea, this was not allowed!

I had the most wonderful experience during my solo trip at this hotel! Even though I had some reservations due to what I had read in reviews, I ended up being pleasantly taken aback. The service was flawless, the rooms were extremely clean, and the food was both tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The staff members were really polite and went out of their way to assist me. One of the highlights was definitely the pool – it was roomy and had slides, along with a designated pool for kids. I genuinely believe it's a fantastic choice for everyone to consider!

all unacceptable. Dirty, filthy and without rich breakfast. There was nothing in variety but only croissants and cakes. While we were minors, the hoteliers didn't take care of this at all, having blaring music and a carefree foreign crowd!!!

the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. old, dirty and most of all unacceptable everyone. at the same time as a school trip of minor children, there was a wedding with loud music and a lot of noise. The breakfast was very sketchy and you had absolutely no choice. all the rooms had problems with many things. Only the gentleman at the front desk was sweet!!

The rooms have only the bare minimum. With a non-existent wifi connectivity and the air conditioner providing more noise than air and a lack of electrical outlets left much to be desired. But, if you are in a pinch and found no place else, you can manage a day or two here.

Worst hotel ever. Please dont try to go at this hotel. Its so dirty. Smells bed, hair around floor and in toilet. Poor breakfast. Better sleep out than at this hotel

I've read many bad reviews about this hotel before. My own experience is completely different. The hotel is really old style but everything was clean and everything was fine. Great dinner, with breakfast, room comfortable, clean, wifi working, everything working. Maybe I was lucky and got a good room, but I have no negative experiences. The staff is polite and actually kind and speaks very good English. The place is perfect for going to Florence or hiking in the area.

I really don't understand how this hotel managed to get the 4-stars. The room was dirty and stank of cigarettes. Dinner and breakfast was barely edible. The bar was overexpensive, for a minimum service. I only liked the "vintage" location.

The place is far from centre. You need to take bus and Tram to get to the centre. Bus runs on hour basis. The checking out by 11.30pm cost me 40 Euro to get on time by taxi. Wasted at least one hour waiting for bus this morning. Breakfast is poor. Internet is not working as hotel claim too many people using it. Customers service is poor. TV reception is very poor.

The hotel was abit worn down. Air-conditioning quite loud. The pool in the pictures are not part of the hotel and will cost extra to use.

I think it was the worst hotel in my life. The star is because the air conditioning was working correctly and one of the ladies at the reception recommended me good places in the area.

  • 1/5 Razvan-Daniel D. 1 year ago on Google
Completly awfull . Frige don t work ac don t work. The people at the reception are totaly unfriendly in all your needs,if u want to go to pool you have to pay extra and so on. 100% not a place to go again.

Only went here for a few hours between main hotel in centre of Florence and our early flight home to the UK. Decent sized rooms and easy to arrange an airport taxi. But looks in need of a face lift and receptionist when we arrived was a little short with us
