My husband and I drove from Calgary and stayed the night. We completely and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our experience there. The lodge is clean and beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking, the food is delicious...so are the cocktails. But most of all, the staff are incredibly friendly. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who served us that night, but you'd know her immediately by her long brown hair and lovely smile. She was awesome to talk with and sweet. However, one of the servers named Dustin was the most friendly server I'd ever encountered at a hotel or lodge. He was kind and funny and spoke with my boyfriend and I about places to visit that are not tourist attractions, so they wouldn't be plagued with people. I highly recommend Heather Mountain Lodge if you are passing through Golden, BC, or if you simply want to randomly stay at a wonderful place. Zero complaints, our entire experience was wonderful.

Very friendly staff. Everybody seems happy to be working here. Room is spacious, clean and has a great view of some mountains from Glacier National Park. The food is great. They wood-fire as much as they can including trout, elk, steaks, and some other goodies. The lodge's dining room has a beautiful view. Again, staff is great. We had a great experience. Highly recommend staying here.

Was there for my daughter's wedding. Beautiful venue with nice rooms, good. food,.great atmosphere and really great staff!

The accommodations were incredibly cozy, providing a perfect respite after a long day of travel. One of the highlights of my stay was the restaurant. The dining experience was nothing short of enjoyable the food was delicious, prepared with care and attention to detail. Another noteworthy aspect is its staff. They ensured that I felt well taken care of throughout my time there.

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding celebration held at this venue over a couple of days and it was perfect. The main building has a cozy ski chalet feel and the staff was incredible at helping us set up. They went above and beyond to make the wedding a blast and looked like they were having as much fun as us during the event! Overall, I really recommend this location for private event bookings.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel during the summer months. There is no AC in the room. They do not provide 2nd fan. For 430$ per night, it is not worth the stay. Just a fancy place without AC, microwave, and fridge. The restaurant is overpriced with just 1 vegetarian option. Rather than making us comfortable at the hotel, the front desk asked if I would rather move to another hotel close to Golden. They did say that they will waive off the room charge and just charge us small cleaning fee. Almost as if they didn't want us here.

This was a last minute decision to stay here and one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were amazing! We perused the dinner menu online before our arrival and everything looked amazing for my two carnivore family members. I don't eat meat and the chef went out of his way to make the most amazing vegan option for me and we sat and leisurely dined in an amazing setting with a gorgeous sunset. I wish we had time for the spa, we'll be back and have already starting telling anyone I know that this is a must stop experience, we just loved it!!!

If we had discovered this place earlier we would have stayed here, too. We had a great conversation with the manager Megan and all the staff. The dinner we had was wonder. The view was beautiful and pleasant

We stayed for two nights at Heather Mountain Lodge - it was absolutely beautiful and the perfect relaxing experience we were seeking. Not too far outside of Golden and easy to get to. The restaurant was good, definitely on the expensive end so keep that in mind. My ONLY complaint is that the sheets were a bit scratchy and the bath towels were TINY and kind of rough. Very minor complaints for an overall wonderful stay. Would recommend going if you've been thinking about it!!

My partner and I recently went heliskiing for 3 days with GCH. We had such an incredible time. The guides were so knowledgeable and so smooth in their operations. The skiing was awesome even for it being early in the season. They really knew all the sweet spots to take us to! And the variety in the runs we did really made for tons of fun. It’s hard to pick which ski day was my favorite. But easily some of the best days of my life. I really enjoyed skiing in the small groups/planes. The lodge was so cute and comfortable. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The food really exceeded my expectations. I looked forward to every meal and was never disappointed. I cannot wait to go back!!
