High quality vegan food, fun atmosphere and very good service. Had the sesame Ginger noodle bowl 🍜- outstanding. Would definitely order this same bowl again. Sushi bowl is also incredible, was going to order it this time but felt like trying something different and the server recommended the sesame Ginger bowl. It was a great recommendation. Both are really well made and tasty. Carrot cake for dessert was really, really good. The icing is delicious.

My office has been expanding our horizons and trying more Vegan options as our current student at law is Vegan. I forgot my lunch today so we headed out. Been looking at this place for a while so it made sense to final try it. This was one of the absolute best meals I've ever had. I am not Vegan. I had the Buffao "Chicken" fries. Every bite was a savory and the sauces mixed so well together. The cheese alternative was extremely pleasant texture and taste wise. I can honestly say I could see myself coming back with friends because of how good it was. The food was just outstanding. The staff was also incredibly friendly. If you're looking for something outside your normal box this, this is the place.

First of all, I’m losing my gosh dang mind (I would swear but I don’t know if Google would ban me from reviewing) This food is SO. good. If you’re vegetarian/vegan this is the place for you. If you’re a meat eater and love fried chicken or Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, buckle up: you will not know the difference. The whole time I ate this burger I was quietly yelling “oh my god” “this is insane” “this is so good” We live in Ottawa and we’re just visiting and I am devastated that I can’t come here all the time. The rating is over 9000 stars/10

What a fantastic menu! Everything sounded amazing but I went for the tacos (see pic): from left to right, veg chicken, mushrooms and veg fish. The chicken and fish in particular were amazing. Such flavours. What a chef! Next time I will have the veg fish and chips (see 2nd pic). Can't wait to be back!

So exciting to see an all vegan comfort food restaurant. The staff and vibe was awesome even though I was just picking up food. The calamari was SO good, the sandwiches I got were almost too spicy for me and not listed as spicy but still good. The garlic fries were also amazing. Great experience over all while I was in town. Exquisite vegan dining. It's not cheap though so bring your unmaxed credit card. Excellent food, peaceful and beautifully done decor. Friendly staff, great patio. Then go for a post meal stroll down Inglewood. Loved it looking forward to going back.

Very beautiful place. Polite and respective services, but very late service. If you are not vegan it doesn't probably give a delightful experience. The taste of the dessert menu was very normal, but high prices.

Awesome place if you want to try unique flavor tacos! I was surprised by how delicious they were - as a meat lover I was amazed. We tried all 6 options, but wanna say the "not fish" one with palm heart were the best! Coconut Pineapple lavender colada is something you should try there as well. Definitely gonna stop by next time I'm in Inglewood.

We had a family function here, tonight, on the patio, which was very very pleasant. The food was fabulous! We had some taco chip appetizers followed by numerous plates of, mushroom tacos cauliflower tacos vegan chicken vegan beef and vegan fish. It was amazing to me as to how much the chicken and fish tasted and had the same texture as animal protein. I was too full, to try the beef but others said it was delicious. It is hard to believe that it was all plant based. The staff was courteous and ever so efficient!! I would absolutely go again and get friends to join me!

The Calamari was absolutely stunning, and the portion size on the brunch bowl was awesome! Every part of my experience was thoroughly impressive, and I can not recommend eating here enough. Will definitely be returning whenever I come back to the city.

We've been in Calgary for the weekend for a work trip and this is the best meal we have had this entire time. There are so many meat-based restaurants here and we don't normally eat that much meat, so for our final day we chose vegan street!! SO GLAD WE DID! Food was absolutely insane, I have never tasted watermelon "salmon" before and it was INCREDIBLE on the tostadas. The tofu bowl I got was unreal, and the three tacos my partner got looked amazing too. His favourite was the no-fish!! The drinks were also great, and everything was so reasonably priced. We need this restaurant in Victoria so bad!!!! Amazing staff, amazing food, will be recommending to our friends who live here and definitely coming back. I'm amazed.

Man this place is a hidden gem. I’m not a vegan and never thought much of the idea. But! Their “No Fish, Fish taco” might be one of the best tacos I’ve ever consumed (and I come from a Mexican household). I’m not sure how to explain this, but it completely turned the idea of vegan food around to me. I came back a second time with family just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and I’m happy to report these no fish fish tacos are bomb… I’ve tired all of the other tacos they offer and can say they’re good too, not great. But, this is hardly fair when you’re comparing with the no fish, fish taco. It’s like Jonny Depp crashing your kids middle school play, of course he’s better hahaha. Anyhow, The co/ owner Darien (sp?) and his wife have created an incredible atmosphere with cute and friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming and fun to be around. Portion sizes are generous which is incredibly refreshing from all the other local taco joints around Calgary who think people don’t know they charge extra for air. Tacos are $7 a piece and I think the pricing is fair for what you’re served. I didn’t feel like they were trying to pinch pennies and were simply focused on making great food! If there is a down side it was finding a decent place to park. That said, the walk was worth it. Do yourself a favor and try the no fish fish tacos. And get there early, seats fill up fast Note to owners, If you guys could please bring back the paper menus it would be appreciated. I found the current set up to be confusing and clunky. And for a second time ordered off the wrong menu since it was the top option to choose. ✌️

Great food, fast service, and charming location! The menu is very extensive, sort of focused on "vegan junk foods" but that's exactly what I was looking for. Lots of comfort foods like burgers, mac and cheese, fish and chips, etc. The truffle mushroom burger is a MUST. Huge, filling portions.

These taco's are so good! Extremely fresh and the sauces are amazing. Such a great deal on happy hour. Their margaritas are delicious! This place is a gem. Highly recommend to vegan and non-vegans. It will not disappoint. Service is fast and friendly. Will absolutely be back here.

RANT: I'll never understand the reviews that give positive descriptions yet take a star away without suggesting why. My Truffle Mushroom Burger on a pretzel bun was simply delicious. The garlic fries were very garlic I expect to make no friends tonight until I brush my teeth lol The vegan Caesar was fabulous and a new experience for myself.

Fun little place in a renovated house. Fantastic food and great service. First time for brunch and it did not disappoint. $3 for a 1/4 of an avocado is pretty steep. But the garlic mushrooms truffle bowl was amazing. $4 mimosas was a tasty treat.

I was in Calgary for a few hours and looked up "Best Vegan Restaurants in Calgary" this was one of the top results and I can see why. The service was excellent, friendly, helpful and patient. The menu had so many delicious looking options to choose from. I chose the Beaf Dip and it was the best beef dip I've had, even compared to when I wasn't plant based. They nailed it 👌👌 I also had a peach margarita which was very tasty 😋 I'll definitely be back. I want to try their tacos next!!

So damn good, I can't wait to go back!! Everything that we ate and drank was absolutely delicious ♥️ Hopefully I'll save room for dessert next time! By far my new favorite restaurant, with an amazing patio too!

What a unique vegan restaurant. My favourite was portobello tacos; they taste delicious and melt in my mouth, and the level of spiciness is just perfect. You are allowed to bring your pet with you, and I noticed there is a water bowl for the doggy. A very warm and charming customer service, a spotless and unique washroom, and a clean kitchen. The environment is so casual and comfortable. I will come back to this restaurant to try their other menus. Highly recommended !!

A really great alternative to your usual meat taco restaurants. With a friend, we shared six of their tacos to really try all the flavors: chimichurri beef, bang bang cauliflower, holiday turkey, no fish, Korean fried chicken, and butter chicken. Using alternatives such as soy, palm, mushrooms, and jackfruit, this taco bar allows you to experience a whole new world of flavors. The Korean fried Chicken and holiday turkey (featuring an amazing roasted sage, thyme, and garlic aioli) were our absolute favorites. While the meals were very filling and unique, I had to take off one star because most of the tacos were slightly cold when we bit into them which was a little disappointing. Still, I would come back for a second try!

My wife and I really enjoyed Vegan Street. My truffle mushrooms eggs Benny was absolutely delicious! The vegan Cesar salad was also quite good. My wife had the burrito and other than completely falling apart into a mess on the plate it was very good as well. She had the kale salad for a side which was pretty good. The service was also good, the food came quickly and we were served water and given our bill quickly as well at the beginning and end of our meal. Overall I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back to try out the dinner menu.

I recently stopped by Vegan Street Kitchen & Lounge for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive vegan options on their menu. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for tasty vegan options in a relaxed setting. Overall, a great experience!

Visited on a Friday night. The place was full. We had their Chickin Bites in Buffalo sauce. It was good a little on the spicier side. We also ordered each of the 3 tacos. Loved the no-fish one. Everything was really good and our server was attentive. 3 stars because I saw one of the servers pouring water from used glasses into the serving jug. I think the management should instruct the servers to be careful about hygiene. -- Update after comment Hey Team, thank you for letting me know. I got a little worried then, but all good now. My husband surprised me with a date to Vegan Street! It was our first time trying it and we absolutely loved it! The food was high quality, very filling and creative. The Cesar salad was super good and had a really nice portion for a side! I also got the carrot cake to go and it was amazing. The icing was to die for! Can’t wait to go back ☺️

Nice vegan restaurant . I was very impressed with the menu because the dishes were named as non-vegan. The food were very unique and tasty . My favourite was the calamari . There is adequate seating and amazing service . Very convenient to reach the restaurant . There is a close by parking area too

Store decor and ambiance was really good. The vegan tacos were enjoyable, the Big Mac one tastes exactly like a Big Mac! My favourite was the “Fish” taco. Overall I enjoyed all the tacos equally. We also got Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and I personally felt like those were lacklustre. No flavour and not very crispy, the “ chilli lime” just comes from the white sauce drizzled on top and you don’t get hints of chilli or lime. The hot sauces were supposed to range from medium to very hot, the first 3 weren’t spicy at all so I thought the spice levels were just mild, I ended up dunking my taco in piping piparo and that was is SPICY, needed ice chips and was tearing up spicy, but overall it’s good!

One of the best places we have dined during our time in Canada. Amazing service and a lovely patio. The food is incredible, especially the Brussel sprouts and the street fries. So many great options to choose from on the menu, it was so hard to pick!!!

Such a beautiful atmosphere with friendly people and awesome customer service! We were able to order and receive our meal really quick! Our waitress said to get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with the hot sauce on the side, which was perfect cause it was super hot! The pretzel bun as soon as soft and fluffy, fresh pickles, the chicken seitan was delicious and tasted like chicken! We will be back! The garlic fries also had real minced garlic!!

Went on Taco Tuesday and tried four of the tacos and every single one was unbelieveable. Also got the pineapple cake which was moist af. So. Good. You have to try it.

I had the bacon cheeseburger (not sure how it’s spelt on the menu) and it was one of the BEST burgers I’ve ever had. Honestly I wasn’t expecting such a delicious burger, as fake meat often tasted very bad but I can’t explain in words the satisfaction I had from taking a bite out of this vegan burger. I am not vegan myself but wanted to try out this restaurant because of the atmosphere. The “bacon” was a bit weird looking but tasted good, and the “beef” patty tasted EXACTLY like real meat, except even better ? I definitely will be coming back again. The only constructive feedback I have is the wait times, we did have to wait a tiny little bit longer than expected, but other than that I have 0 complains.

I am not a vegan or a vegetarian and this is spot is cuisine heaven. Cool interior, awesome service (shout outs to Bailey on making great recommendations each time I visit) and overall wonderful experience. Would recommend any day - perfect date spot, chill to hang when you’re flyin solo, but really, it’s for anyone who’s just looking to try some super solid vegan food.

Really hearty and delicious food. Friendly staff. Was busy when we went so a but hard to grab the wait staff attention but overall great experience. Online menu was having trouble loading on Android phones though.

I liked the vegan tacos a lot. Of course, it is not just tacos. The tres leches cake is more than excellent, but apparently they do not have it always. I was lucky twice, though. The only thing I did not enjoy is the chair in the outside seating area - very uncomfortable.

First time visiting and I was blown away. I’ve been vegan for 11 years and their bacon cheese burger has got to be one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had! Calamari and beef dip were also great. Server was lovely and their patio has a really cool yet homey vibe. 10/10

The food is good and the staff is great. This place is got that warm cozy feel that would make you feel like at home between your folks. I liked their drink menu. Great choices for cocktails and wine. The food is great as well. Load up on the appiz you will not regret it. Calamari is a well thought cook. The burger is great as well we had the truffle and Fiesta burger.

Visited for the first time and was blown away. The patio is very cozy at night. Went on taco Tuesday and everything we tried was very colorful and full of flavor. Found the portion size great! The sweet Thai chili cauliflower, charred pineapple cocktail and tres leche cake are a must. Can't wait to visit again!

This place will make you re consider meat!! I was so surprised at how amazing vegan food can be. As an avid meat eater I can truly say this has changed my whole perspective on vegan based food. The watermelon poke tostadas taste exactly like fresh ahi and the chikin tacos tasted exactly like chicken. But the kicker was the vegan Tres leches cake. MIND BLOWING!!! 🔥T he staff was very welcoming and the spicy watermelon margarita tasted fresh and made with real juice. If you haven't tried vegan food and are curious? Make this your first stop!

Incredible. Super tasty fresh fantastic food. And...wait for it....amazing service! This place is a fecking unicorn in the vegan/plantbased world. Every bite was magic and servers so helpful and quick. The Brussel sprouts wouLd make a manchild beg for more. The no-fish tacos made with heart of palm... unbelievable batter and mangos and wow. The chickn quesadillas just loveLy. Sunday caesars (drinks) came with big pickle and some kind of meatee thing...so good. Everything have FLAVOUR. We will return every single chance we get. Absolutely LOVED our visit here! We had come up from Edmonton and always ate at the Beltline Vegan Street so thought we'd give the new location a try. It did not disappoint! All the food was delicious, fresh and flavorful. The dessert was the absolute star of the show, it was the tres leches cake and was phenomenal. The staff were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. We will be visiting again very soon for sure!

Hilarious, engaging and personable service from Sergio and a well-varied menu for all hankerings. It was nice to see a mix of all types there too - old, young, men, women, professionals and Vegan cuisine/restaurants are stepping up to properly cater to all of them. Well done

This place is fantastic. First, love the old house. Got there and felt very welcomed by super friendly staff. The menu is great. It's so nice knowing I don't have to go through every item and ask 'is there any meat in this'? We ordered a few different things and all of it was really really tasty, hot and nicely displayed. We're going back again tonight!

Excellent food! Highly recommend the Lemon Tofu Bowl. The tofu is marinated in lemon and coated with a very crispy breading. Yum! My family loved the Fish(no fish)Tacos! Long drive from home but well worth the trip. Calgary has a wonderful representation of all cuisines and culture. And, the staff are very knowledgeable!

I've eaten at this restaurant a few times and the food is good. My review is for the service that I received tonight, which embarrassed and upset me. I was recently diagnosed with cancer, and as a result, I am following a strict diet. A few months ago, I contacted the restaurant to tell them my restrictions (vegan, no deep fried, limited sugar, no soy meat), and the owner was very kind to respond to me with all the options -- including how dishes could be modified to meet my restrictions. The menu changed since then, so tonight I requested some modifications (e.g., grilled instead of fried tofu, fresh tortillas instead of deep fried tortilla chips). It was clear that our waitress was not impressed. I don't want to have to explain to people my health reasons for these modifications, but after she made it seem like a huge chore for the kitchen to modify my food, I felt the need to explain my health condition. It's embarrassing enough to have to ask so many questions about food. I don't need the server to make me feel bad about it. Fortunately, the server switched our table to another server, and Megan was fantastic! She was super friendly and helpful. Some feedback for the restaurant. I realize that not all vegans are healthy, but for those of us who are, it would be nice to see a few more whole food options (without processed fake meats or deep fried foods). Also, brown rice as an option instead of white (for the bowls) would be nice.

Meat eaters, eat here!!! I’m not vegetarian or vegan and I loved my meal here. Flavorful, big portions. Fun creations that are completely satisfying and delicious. Finally, vegan food that doesn’t taste like overpriced rabbit food. Speaking of the price, this place is so crazy reasonable! Accommodating to my gluten-free needs, which is awesome. I recommend the flavor-packed truffle mushroom burger and the street fries. Bailey, our server, was sweet, attentive and gave us knowledgeable and efficient service. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint. I’ll be coming back to try more things off the menu.

Would return. I'm always up for some vegan because they always make up for the lack of meat with huge flavours. This is no exception - the truffle burger is absolutely amazing. Obviously truffle makes everything better, but crunchy onion rings, thick patty, crunchy fries and dip - it all works so well together that you forget there's no meat. Vegan food almost never disappoints if you're wanting something different.

Really great food that has amazing taste. The collection of salts and sauces used on the food are excellent. Really enjoyed our meal, tacos are well worth it. Would recommend to anyone.

My friend and went here and got the three salsa and chips to share (8/10) pretty good chips however some were a little soft rather than crunchy. We also got a virgin charred pineapple marg and cilantro cucumber mojito (10/10) probably the most refreshing drink I’ve had for a while. We also ordered 3 tacos Korean chickin 10/10 Bang bang cauliflower 5/10 No fish 5/10 Korean chickin was spicy and packed a lot of flavour however the other two were underwhelming with minimal flavour and way too much cabbage slaw (a drizzle of a sauce would have definitely helped) Would come back for the chips and salsa and instead just order 2 Korean tacos

I loved my evening there. The restaurant is quaint and, given this time of year, it was decorated with some additional holiday Decour which was cute. We had the cashew cheese dip some thing, yucca fries, root beer Roobis tea, and I skipped the entrées and went straight for the dessert. Everything was so delicious. Our server was very attentive and even listen to a fun story of ours with enthusiasm. I for some reason was curious at what the building used to be when it was first opened and she actually entertained the question and came up with a really great response.

Love it here! Servers are nice and kind. The food is colourful, bright, and tastes amazing! The atmosphere is pretty chill and relaxed. It’s a whole vibe Highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance :)

Our experience at the Inglewood location of Vegan Street was excellent! Our waiter Sergio was very welcoming, friendly & fun. The guava bellinis were delicious. Yucca fries were tasty. The Poke Salad, was amazing! Pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend Vegan Street, we will definitely be repeat customers.

I am tempted to use profanity to describe how delicious this food is, but this is Alberta so some of you would stop listening to me. :-) Friendly staff, pet-friendly vibe (brought out a water bowl for my friend's dog without even being asked), lots of outdoor picnic and patio seating. Big, big, flavour and texture for traditional comfort food in cowboy country. Takeout does not disappoint, but I will always eat there when I can. Great place for a cocktail and a shared snack, too.
