First time being there and we really enjoyed it. It has a casual atmosphere with a bar but without a bar feel. I made reservations and they had a little chalk board with my name on it which looked so neat. Wait staff was very friendly and quick with our drinks, refills and food. Our waitress gave us suggestions of what we might want to have. My wife had lobster Mac n cheese which was great. I had the pickled brined fried chicken. It was very tender boneless thighs with great flavor. The breading was very crunchy and had a light sauce that had been drizzled over the chicken. No flavor over powered the others flavors on the chicken. It came with a fresh Cole slaw with red onions and corn. It had a light vinegar based sauce on the slaw. For dessert we had Captain Morgan creme brulee cheese cake which was awesome. We will return for sure. We really like the menu was full of unquie items that you will only find there. Not a huge menu but items on there were well thought out. My wife and couldn't recommend it more.

It was just okay, would probably not go back. Calamari was very dark and hard, seemed overdone, mentioned this to the server, she said they had just changed the oil two days ago (our visit was in March 31st, 2021, we left at 8:50pm). Large size discrepancy in the 4 piece fried chicken entree. It would be more visually appealing if they are more similarly sized. Breading seemed dark (like the calamari, not sure if this was intentional). The food was just okay, I think I was initially put off by the lack lustre calamari. The server was great, liked her, she wasn’t overbearing. I had a leaky tea pot and she switched it out immediately. Restaurant was clean.

I thought it was a little pricier over all than most of the places we usually go to, however the quality and quantity of the food and service certainly justifies their pricing. Vanessa our server was very friendly and efficient - a real treat. I particularly enjoyed their medium buffalo wings. I rated the food, atmosphere and over all as a 4 star, only because I am very hesitant to give out 5 stars on principal as I believe there is always room for improvement... but the service was pretty hard to deny the 5 star rating. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Sticky, well worn heavy wooden tables, dark interior, somewhat shabby esthetic...so a picture perfect pub style bar and eatery! Food was amazing, server comfortable like your best friends hot sister, Actual family board games atop a mantle. My 9 yo was in love with the place and devoured her well battered fish with two thumbs up, as we took on what seemed to be in house pressed burgers that were well worth the drive.

The food never disappoints here! The mac and cheese reviews are definitely true! It is absolutely amazing my family all agrees, probably the best we’ve ever had. We also order the nachos to start every time and they are great as well. Only downside is the restaurant is not that big so not a whole lot of seating or booths. Other than that though amazing food and good service.

Burger tastes like a frozen store bought burger , fries were like warm and obviously previously cooked several times. Fish is ok not much flavour. wings are small but good and flavourful. Service is mediocre at best. Can’t wait to had you the bill.

The food is amazing! Their pickled-brined chicken is to die for, best chicken I’ve had in a restaurant ever. Their jalapeño mac and cheese is also not to be missed. Service was friendly and the food came out fast. Great experience overall, can’t wait to come back!

Amazing. The monthly Burger was perfectly cooked and such a unique and perfect flavour pairing. Chicken thighs were SOOOOOO good!!!! The chef clearly has a mastery of taste and has developed a menu for any eater! Service from Vanessa was impeccable. And she knew everything about the regular menu and the daily specials. I will be back. Maybe tomorrow:)

Would recommend. Can be a bit noisy as their space isn't that big. Nice pub atmosphere to hang out with close friends. Food and service great.

Gluten friendly options and delicious food that had even the less food adventurous kiddo raving. Prices were fair, portions were good, atmosphere and service were amazing. We'll be back during our vacation next year!

Was totally awesome. Food was superb, lots of it, and yummmmmy to the max. Service was excellent. Crystal was as sweet as could be, very personable and attentive. When I visit my siblings again, I would come back. Attending to the view out the window end would be a nice touch. If I lived in the area I would offer my help. Ty for a wonderful supper.

The Crown and Beaver has one of the best burgers in town. Serious quality. The mac n cheese is also top notch. Nice beer selection. The service is friendly but not overbearing. Nice selection of craft and local beer, and then a good selection of the usual. Excellent pub.

My wife just messaged me to let me know that the place she had picked out for her stop along the way was a hit! She had hoped for the Shepherd’s Pie but that’s off the menu. Wednesday is Wing Nite so why not? She has a preference for flats and they obliged and they were served up with a delicious whiskey barrel BBQ sauce. The Crown and Beaver Pub is quite handy to her motel and several others - it’s in a great place with great food!

After 5 years of visits, still impressed. Service is always on point and they have a solid rotation of draught beers and even more in cans & bottles. Food has never disappointed and the chef’s special burger is always a treat. It can get busy so reservations are a good idea.

I ordered the curry chicken with brassell sprouts on rice - it was outstanding. Our server was friendly, quick and very accommodating. Definitely worth visiting again the next time we’re up in North Bay.

Friendly staff and atmosphere! Nice outdoor area set back from the road. Best Fish and chips and the coleslaw was a treat in itself! A really good variety of draught beer to choose from.

A charming place with a unique menu. My husband had the brined battered chicken, coleslaw and fries, I had the chicken taco salad. Both were quite good! I have to say that there wasn't much chicken in my salad, but still filling and well made. Looks to be a very popular place, so that tells you something. Servers were friendly and fairly quick service. Reccomended!

This place has fantastic food and excellent service always consistent. We frequent often. The only thing you can complain about is the table tops have a disgusting sticky film from being over sanitized and are in serious need of refinishing. Your drink sticks to the table! The booths and the duct tape need some attention as well!

Wonderful food and great service for a family of nine. All sauces and dressings are home made and delicious. The waitress was very helpful, splitting dishes for kids and making sure we were all happy. Our first time there as we are camping nearby. Highly recommended.
