Social Dhaba was very busy which is always a good sign... We walked to our large table was handed nice wooden backed menu's. We began to form a list of dishes we'd like to demolish! Plenty of options will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Fabulous Indian food 🥘 The place is nice and spacious. The food was great and exactly as how you would get it in India. (I mean exactly the same taste), that also means the spice levels so if you are someone who cannot eat a lot of spice ask the staff about milding down the heat! The place has the feel of a fine dining. The service was good too. The decorations is truly beautiful to see. Cost wise it’s not very cheap but you wouldn’t mind paying with the good quality food and service. Try this place on a special occasion and trust me you won’t regret it.

Loved everything about this place. Food quality was awesome. Service polite and friendly with plenty of smiles and banter. The food and the cocktail I had were just perfect. No 2 dishes tasted alike and was easily the best meal I've had out in ages. Highly recommended

We had a good time at Social Dhaba. It was quite busy on a Sunday evening, which is a good sign. We were offered a table real quick even when we didn't have a reservation. The food was good, tasted very fresh and authentic. Service was slow and it was expected on account of how busy it was. I saw there was a steady stream of takeways, which is usually a good sign and tell you about the quality of food. We ordered the veg starter Platter and proved to be a great choice. The lachha paratha was well made and the Punjabi daal was true to its taste. Overall a satisfactory experience. One recommendation: the lassi should be served in a larger size and in the Patiala style glasses.

Good food that was authentic and tasty but service was poor. We weren't seen to our table at the front of the restaurant or given a menu for 10mins (seemed like they forgot about this side of the restaurant) whilst trying to call for a waiter to come over as it was cold and drafty, so asked to be moved. Once we moved and had ordered, the kitchen staff came with the food (good COVID protocol) and were really pleasant.

We have been to Social Dhaba 3 or 4 times in the last year. The food has been consistently good (try the Social Dhaba Special Mogo and the Crispy Broccoli Salt & Pepper) and the service is great (the waitstaff are all hard working, responsive, and happy). This all makes a change from when SD first opened and it's therefore now our go to for friend reunion dinners.

Without a doubt, hands down this is the best Indian restaurant out there! The staff was very welcoming and very quick service. Regarding the food now that was just amazing! Normally places use a lot of sugar for certain dishes but this place was perfect. Everything was mouth-watering! The sizes of each dish were for two people at least. Wouldn't only recommend this place but now have it as my top Indian!

Really tasty food - great atmosphere and service was also very good. Visited on 14th September as family of 4. mid week was busy and still the food was great. It all came out piping hot & the portions are very big! Ordered too much but no problem to take it away.

Social Dhada in Hatch End, my friends and I had afternoon lunch there. The ambiance was great very rustic feel to the decor very warming and clean. The staff was very welcoming. Priya who took our order was very receptive, she tweaked my friends order to accommodate her requirements the food was wholesome and tasty . Overall beautiful atmosphere. We had a lovely afternoon there. We will definitely return.

Excellent starters and mains as you'd expect from a modern Indian restaurant like Social Dhaba. The themed interior of copper and "dhaba" style, the ambience and atmosphere were all very unique and interesting. Overall enjoyed the experience with family and the service was also great.

Great vibe, amazing service. Saakshi was looking after us and we were a large group of 12. We had no hiccups no order will mess ups of any sort whatsoever. Taste was incredible the tandoori dishes reminding me of how they do it in the fast food category from the streets of India. Drinks were cold and fresh but the most impressive dish of the evening was Tandoori Tiger Prawns, cooked and marinated to perfection. So impressed by it that I’ve recommended almost everyone I know (seafood lovers) this dish at this restaurant.

This restaurant is always busy and it's best to book your table in advance. The food , ambience and service is pretty decent. Would recommend it. Try the avocado chaat and Bindi sabji, best I have had . Rest is good too but the 2 mentioned stood out. I'm sure to visit Social Dhaba again 😊

Excellent food, drinks, and ambiance. The service was spot on. In particular, the Spinach chat and Chicken 65 very well done! A well-balanced and delicious Sidecar rounded out the meal.

A good addition to Hatch End's restaurant scene, this place serves good food and has a nice vibe. Special mention to Kevin from Mauritius who served our table, very hospitable guy and certainly added to the experience. Visited on a Wednesday and the restaurant was packed, so make sure to book on buys days.

  • 5/5 Amit S. 4 years ago on Google
Went there on a Friday night. Was packed. But still the service and food was top notch. Our waiter was Kevin from Orissa in India. He was extremely courteous and prompt with the orders. The best dish for me was the veg dry Manchuria. The desserts were great too. Liked the pan kulfi and ras malai -Amit Sanghvi

Had a lovely meal with family and friends. Excellent starters. Favourites remain Chicken Lollipop and Lamb chops though the chicken 65 and mushroom starters were also good. Naan was lovely too. Desserts were okay. Cocktail was decent but was less and few options that didn’t have a vodka base! Sakshi a special mention of you for the warm hospitality. Social Dhaba keep it up! See you again. Great restaurant. Good selection of veg, non veg. Loved their cutlery (bizarre but it just went beautifully with the place). Particularly enjoyed the veg Manchurian, hard to find good tasting Manchurian. Great service from Kamal. Overall enjoyed the place, would recommend and would go again.

  • 4/5 Kumail S. 11 months ago on Google
The food tasted great although some of my group did find the food to be on the spicy side, they do wish if they could have adjusted how spicy the food was made eg mild, medium hot. I on the other hand thoroughly enjoyed the spice. I liked the metal glasses and water bottles it gave the restaurant a nice touch. The only thing that did put me off was we saw some ant along the bar which was right next to where we sat. I would say the restaurant was slightly pricey but overall not bad for the quality of the food/flavour. The service was on the slow side however that may be a sign of how freshly made the food was. I would probably come back.

This is by far the best restaurant I have visited. The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly. A great day/night out with friends or family….hey! Why not everyone. Sakshi was exceptional in her customer service. Five stars do not do this place justice. We shall return

  • 5/5 Rhea M. 1 year ago on Google
An amazing night out! I always enjoy coming here for a date with my partner or a night out with the family. Everyone is very attentive and the food is exceptional. The bartender Joy is an absolute delight to talk and engage with! The service, quality and standard he provides is impeccable. A very personable employee who always strives to make his customers happy. Definitely recommend!

It was my birthday and they did an exceptional job hosting. Kamal was a great server. Always checking up on us to see how everything was going, gave great recommendations for the food. As it was my birthday, they gave a complimentary dessert. Atmosphere was great. Plenty of parking around the area.

  • 5/5 Ekta D. 1 year ago on Google
Really good experience here from when I planned the event till the end when we left the venue. Staff were so helpful when arranging a 30th birthday event for my husband and they met specific requests made by myself. We arrived a little late and had reduced time on our table but we didn't once feel rushed to leave. Food was tasty and flavourful. The cocktails were delicious. The service outstanding. Definitely a restaurant I'd recommend to anyone and everyone! Thank you

Went on recommendations and was not disappointed. Great vibe and decor, loved the beautiful bollywood instrumentals in the background, delicious and beautifully presented food and drinks, good size portions, and really friendly pleasant and efficient service! Everything we had was scrumptious!! Loved the chilli garlic mushrooms! Service: Friendly person when booking on the phone and then the lovely and pleasant Sakshi who served us for lunch - so personable and smiley! Thank you for a fabulous lunch experience!! We look forward to coming back for more!!

Great location and decor within the restaurant, the food was good. We went in a large group of 10 people and as soon as we sat down, our waiter named Kamal was insistent that we ordered starters and main at the same time as they wanted the table back quickly after 2 hours. This felt rushed, choosing all your food, didn’t even give us the option to have dessert. We tried various sharing starters and they were good, we had a few main dishes and they were average. The starters we tried were chilli paneer, mogo, mushrooms, bhindi and crispy bhajia, the avocado chaat and pani puri were average. For mains I would try the daal and methi corn, the paneer was ok. I would recommend this restaurant to try, but be aware that service is average and could improve. Service like this will leave you disappointed.

  • 2/5 Marie Y. 8 months ago on Google
Essentially very overpriced desi food. Didn't taste that great to justify the cost and mango mocktail was literally mango juice (cheaper version of rubicon mango) plus water/syrup and some strawberries thrown in. The mixed chicken grill was the tastiest in all the things we ordered. Definitely would not go again

  • 5/5 Niraj 8 months ago on Google
What a delightful dining experience! The moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable, and our server was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also eager to help us choose the perfect dishes. The food was a culinary masterpiece, each plate bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef and the entire staff for creating such a memorable evening. Especially The Manager Sakshi was Exceptional Host. Have never seen any one as good as her worldwide!!! Go for it !!!

One of the best restaurants in Hatch End and probably London that I have been to. Their food, atmosphere and the ambience is next to perfect. I have tried their ‘Chai Kulfi’ and ‘Paan Kulfi’, which are their best and authentic. Many thanks to “Ridhima” for assisting us with utmost care. Don’t miss it if you are around. I definitely wouldn’t.

Food was excellent, except for the butter chicken which tasted like tomato soup. Internal decor was really nicely done, however the tables are too small. I am sure many others will agree that Kevin made their experience much better. A very upbeat, hospitable and helpful waiter that will go far in life!

  • 5/5 Kunwar A. 3 years ago on Google
A great Indian restaurant with lots of vegetarian options and with food you don't usually find in a standard Indian. Most Indian restaurants are not owned or run like this and tend to be by those not even from India, e.g. Pakistan, Nepal or Bangladesh. This has genuine authentic Indian food, the type you get in India. Great selection of drinks too, with friendly staff.

Food was good and the service was good. Very clean and pleasant looking restaurant. Don't agree with the service charge they add on but I pay it begrudgingly! Because of the service charge I have it for stars otherwise it would be five. Food and drinks are pricey enough so there's no need for service charge!

Incredibly impressed with the excellent food and drinks, friendly staff, and fantastic atmosphere of Social Dhaba! The food tastes amazing and so fresh! They have all the food I love in an Indian restaurant plus a few more unique dishes (particularly love the avocado and potato chaat!). Really love their copper cutlery and decor as well! If you're looking for a lovely evening out, I would highly recommend Social Dhaba. I've already been twice and can't wait to go again!

A very nice Indian Fusion Restaurant in Hatch End. We were there in a group but were looked after very well. We started of with a basket of possums with a variety of chutneys this was followed by chats and chicken lollipops one of the new things I tried was an avocado chat. This was followed by a variety of curries and deals and jeera rice and nans. On the whole food was delicious. Plenty of parking around but paid.

  • 5/5 Amit K. 4 years ago on Google
Social Dhaba is as good as it can get with Indian food. And by that I mean authentic Mumbai style North Indian cuisine. Ambience is superb, well thought of artifacts, service is great, food top notch. Tables are slightly on smaller side, or at least the one we were seated on. It's priced well for the area and I am sure it is going to provide tough competition - if not already doing so - to other Indian/ non-Indian cuisines along Hatch End Broadway. Keep up the good food and service.

  • 1/5 GamingRacerHD Y. 4 years ago on Google
Looked amazing from the outside, inside it's really crammed not much space to move, gave us a table for 4 people even though they were five of us. Considering the enormous plates and cups, I would of expected a decent size table for us. It was really uncomfortable to serve the food when it arrived and they wanted us to make space for it? Should we leave it on the waiters head as that seems appropriate right? The food was alright and would of been better if we had a comfortable seating arrangement.

  • 4/5 James R. 4 years ago on Google
First time trying their takeaway and we enjoyed the food very much. The chickpea curry and the smoked aubergine are delicious, and the lollipop chicken was too. Family-sized naan are perhaps for a less greedy family than mine and for the price, I thought a little pricey. Will definitely go back, especially when we can eat in.

Visited Social Dhaba on the first night they reopened after lockdown for a date night with my partner. The restaurant had been transformed to ensure it complied with the Covid 19 measures. They had portable screens to put in between tables, a sanitising station and all staff were wearing PPE. They also have you sign a sheet for track and trace. I think they could have gone a bit further by ensuring guests sanitze as they enter the restaurant and staff did not always keep one meter distance but these are new things we need to get used to. We were served by Kevin who was very attentive and ensured the food was cooked how we liked (not too spicy for me). The food itself was fantastic, great flavours and quality. The cocktails were spot on as well. The bar tender even came over and asked us how they were which i thought was very good customer service. Overall was a very enjoyable evening with great food and service. Would highly recommend.

The food was not great have had better. Was pretty disappointed and they was nothing flavourful. We have the veg Manchurian, crispy corn (which wasn't crispy), mains - shahi paneer 0 taste no spice taste with nan roti and mushroom rice(this was nicest of all our food). dessert - julab jaman (tasted shop boaught) gajar ka halwa (this was nice and not overly sweet) and baileys ice cream in a waffle(this was yum) Wouldn't be going back again

This place doesn’t do well as takeaway. All the food was really hard to bite and chew: mogo, lamb chops and chicken. Service was good, food was ready on time and social distancing measures on collection were spot on. Sadly the good times ended there and the meal was disappointing. ☹️

I organised a surprise birthday lunch for my husband yesterday with 10 other friends. I called the restaurant a month ago to book a place as it is the busy Christmas season. They were really helpful right from the beginning and communicated well on the phone and email. On the day, we arrived to a beautifully set up table. Kevin was our waiter and I only have good things to say about him. Right from taking our orders for the welcome drink to clearing the table after every course and finally bringing the cake out, Kevin was a star. He is a great conversationalist, genuine and is no doubt, an asset to the Social Dhaba team. The rest of the staff were great too and really helped to make it such a great evening. Now for the food, it was simply amazing. Everything tasted spot on. My friends raved about it throughout the meal. I am glad I picked the right place to celebrate my husband's birthday. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
