[2023-01-14, £14.67/pax] 45 minute wait on a saturday 7pm, which was definitely not worth it for the food we got. it didn't look too busy, but I think they had a lot of delivery orders. onion rings - 7/10 but definitely not worth the price, portion was small burger - 6/10, big portion but the meat was rather tough.

Welcome back to R&H's crazy reviews. This time we have some beef with Butch Annie's. The burgers themselves were quite lackluster in both size and taste and a bit overpriced for what they were. The atmosphere wasn't brilliant and the music was a touch loud as well. Wouldn't recommend. Until next time, Pasta la Vista.

If you have not visited this place, you not missed much... After this visit was clear to me why restaurants around were full and this one with only few customers... Pizzas on meniu but not served there, why have menu then? Ordered 5 burgers, 4 arrived at once and for one burger had to wait another 10 minutes, so when our party were nearly finished eating then my burger arrived. Probably kitchen is not big enough to make 5 burgers at once?! Mens toiled is blocked, with big letters "sorry". Place is shambolic. Even McDonald's would be much better choice, and way cheaper and cleaner, than this place. Do not bother to go there, any other place will be better choice..

One more time, it is confirmed that the best burgers I had are in the UK! I don’t like the British pies&co, but their burgers are simply amazing! Fresh meat, medium done, perfectly balanced…makes you want more…and then die of belly explosion…without regrets! Congratulations to the cook! The prices are fair!

A nice little burger restaurant in the heart of Cambridge. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, asked all the right questions and were very polite. The food was great too, although the chillies in my burger blew my head off! 🤣 Definitely worth a visit if you are in Cambridge.

Wow. Stunning burgers, really delicious. Burger cooked amazing, slightly pink but they checked how I like it. Fab service and super quick food

Great burgers but compared to the price I would say the service could be better ! The quality of food was great ! The wide of the place was funky with a feeing of a typical American Diner which was great ! We ordered pizza aswell which was nice also with soft and not so heavy dough and tasty sauce ( could do better on the chicken serving on top of pizza though) But for service I would say if your charging average £10 for a burger you should give cutlery and trays for-example rather then just wrap a burger in paper and hand that over to you on your table ! Overall good experience but slightly pricy compared to the service!

One of the best burger places in Cambridge. Got an amazing Truffle Hunter, they asked how well to cook the meat-paddy and it was exactly the right amount of pink I asked for. Great selection of beer as well and good atmosphere. Recommended! 🍺🍔👌🏻

This place is amazing! I've never had a pizza like it. My husband had the burger and said he has never had a burger so filling, succulent, and flavourful. The chips are lovely but the rosemary ones are really strong still taste remarkable though. He had Lewd Lizzie burger. I had the Southfork and Penelope Pitstop pizza

Stunning burger! Smoky bacon, sweet caramelised onion, wouldn't change a thing! Good price, cute venue, great selection. Shame the milkshakes weren't available when we visited...

Walked in and seated straight away, not the best seat in the house (next to the toilet). The steak was cooked to how they said it would be. The sauce was cold, and when I questioned it, I was told that's how it is. Found it hard to get used to. Rosemary chips are delicious. I do think the sauce and chips should be included in the £16 for the steak. Not enough to fill you up but a decent size meal. They don't sell pints. Signal is ifffy being in the basement.

Came here recently for the first time to try the veggie burgers, which we had heard good things about. We had the ooh la la and the truffle hunter. Both were terrific and definitely worth the praise. I would say both were among the best burgers we have had in Cambridge, and significantly better than the boring impossible / moving mountains vegan burgers that seem to be everywhere these days. Restaurant overall had a nice vibe and the server was super friendly. Bravo!

Visited twice, food quality's solid and finding a seat's never a problem. The burgers are nice flavored but too salty for me. Fries are spot on with a crispy shell and soft middle. The onion rings were a bit too brown and dry.

Overall very good experience, I would recommend and will come back again. + burgers are tasty, good selection of beers, you can choose burger size 175g or 255g. - No kids menu, staff is friendly, but forgot to ask how we would like our burgers to be cooked, some burgers served on a plates some without (paper wrap). From our table and some others impossible to see board with beer selection, so you have to go to the bar to make your selection. P. S I've seen pizzas and I am not impressed, but I should come back to try them for fair opinion.

Butch is my go to for a homemade Burger, OOh lalah and BB king are my favourites just remember their are two sizes for the burgers!!! My son loves a large burger! I could not handle a double so I prefer a smaller burger with Rosemary Chips yum yum. Milkshakes are delicious. Helpful staff & relaxing vibe.

Nice place in the basement. Nice relaxed atmosphere. The burgers are some of the best in town and they're also now doing deep pan pizzas, which were tasty too. The drinks are mostly beers from smaller brands - unfortunately, I didn't find one entirely to my taste but not bad at all

Tasty food, friendly staff, cool setting - Just a few pounds more expensive than what it's worth in my opinion. However, if you're happy to pay say, Five Guys prices, then honestly this would be the better choice.

Cool basement atmosphere with some of the best burgers you will find in the UK. Their beetroot burger is great if you’re a vegetarian. If you need a burger and it is summer, recommend ordering it. This place gets hot in the summer! Also, don’t go here if you are in a rush! They are slow. Craft beer selection is decent.

This place has so much promise. We had wonderful service but through no fault of her own we were left with being told no pizza or pasta (only available at the weekend), warm burgers, no vinegar at all and food served on a piece of paper with no cutlery unless you requested it. The chips were lovely though, hot and perfectly seasoned. I feel this place could be great but was let down by poor stock ordering and maybe not enough kitchen staff?

Food was really great, try the classic stake it’s really good and for the burgers don’t miss the (smokey joe), for the drink try the (troubles in paradise). ask Leah and Cleo they are the best.. it’s my favorite place so far.

Burger meat was tasty and tender, decent selection of beers, and the staff really friendly, particularly the Italian waitress. However, wait was long despite the place not being too busy, and I was served a burger just in a paper wrap, when I would have expected at least a plate since I was dining in and this is not a fast food

I had the BB King which was a pretty nice burger. Would have been nice to know what the blue cheese was but it was unspecified. The chips were very good, nice and crispy. Downside is that it took over 25 minutes when, when I ordered, there were only 2 other people there. Wouldn't have been such a problem but when I ordered I asked if it would be around 10 minutes and the waitress said yes. Had I known it would have been 25 minutes I would not have ordered.

Very interesting decor. The service was good, attentive, and lovely. The food was average. We had steak, mine was okay, and my partners steak was chewy. No distinctive or melt in your mouth taste. Portion was small. Table was wobbly, and so was the backing of my seat. Didn't feel like our kind of place. Unlikely to come back.

Last year I tried one of the burgers and dirty cow, and was impressed by the spectrum of flavours handled in a single burger. However, when I ordered the sroomster pizza, I found it to be dripping with oil to boot. Clearly the truffle oil was overused. I was very disappointed, to say the least.

Ordered through Deliveroo - so can't comment on the restaurant experience. Paid £14 for a Vegan Shroomster pizza that was extremely small and not very tasty - I thought I might have been able to share with the people I was with at this price but unfortunately not barely enough for one!

We can’t recommend this place enough! We’ve eaten here twice out of the three going out for dinner in Cambridge and tbh we should’ve gone the third time as well. Great atmosphere with good music and very lovely staff. “The One” burger is easily the best we’ve ever had! The chicken one is really good too. They have a big list of cocktails which all sound amazing (we only tried two). Surprisingly quiet for such a good joint 🩵
