100% the best noodles I’ve had in Cambridge. The restaurant is very small, only 5 or 6 tables inside, and has a very cosy feeling. The food is just amazing. The noodles are outstanding. Small bowl but packed full of flavour. Would recommend getting two bowls - only 6 pounds per bowl. Go here if you like noodles, if you don’t, go anyway and you’ll be converted.

Waited for an hour and a half only to share a table and an extra hour for food to come. Even soy milk took 30 minutes. Not worth the wait at all. The food was super simple nothing special. Massive waste of 3 hours on a Wednesday night.

The best Xiao Long Bao/ fresh noodles 🍜 in Cambridge!!! This place serves authentic and tasty Chinese food!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing freshly handmade dumplings and noodles! You must try!!! Tips: Depending on the time of your intended visit, you probably have to wait in a long queue Therefore, try to visit outside rush hours as there are a limited number of seating. All in all I would say it is definitely worth waiting. Cash only payment

I have to say...this is the best noodle and Xiao Long Bao restaurant that I’ve went to so far. It’s a small store with limited seats, and they serve each table’s order one by one, making a long-waited queue no matter outside or even seated at tables. But you can see how it worth when people are still coming during dining time and willing to wait I ordered a glass of warm soyamilk with half sugar, which was completely a rescue on a windy and freezing night. Savouries are very outstanding. Beef brisket noodle soup is good, with the brisket cooked perfectly to chew out. The Wonton soup is my favorite, where the juicy and stuffy mixture of pork and vegetables are covered by transparent skin, soaking in the salty soup. The juice just exploded in your mouth when you took a bite. Xiao Long Bao is the must-try. It is slightly bigger than what’s in an usual restaurant, but I don’t think it’s any less than wonderful. I personally think the skin of dumpling is too thick, I can somehow taste the flavor of flour. And it could be even better if the soup (generally) can be less salty. But overall I still consider it a very highly-rated restaurant. Cash only. Card payment is not acceptable

OMG!! Xiao Long Bao is excellent; Flavourful but not over seasoning. The soup inside is well- balanced flavour and mixes well with the minced. Beef brisket noodle with spicy sauce is also good. Service is excellent but don’t go on their busy time. Price is acceptable. Recommend…

The people moaning about the pace of the service is a bit unfair. The food is worth the wait and you can see that the husband and wife are working so hard. The food was delicious, all hand made and fresh. The Xiao long Bao very good. We will definitely be back!

Just FYI the restaurant is closed until 02Jan2023. We enjoyed the Xiao long baos. And after we seated it took quite along time to get our food. Maybe 30 minutes? Since the chef makes the dim sums one by one once the order comes in, it took much longer than we thought. Worth the waiting!!

Loved it. Called for a takeaway last weekend before walking up, thankfully they informed us it would be an hour before our meal would be ready so we didn't waste any time standing out. Didn't know it was a cash only place so take note if it's your first visit. The spicy pork ramen was ace as well as the chilli beef side. The dumplings here are a real steal for the price!

If you have heard of/ tried Din Tai Fung, then this is Cambridge's not so little secret! Noodles+ is a small casual restaurant with a maximum capacity of 19 seats served by a lovely couple. Everything is freshly made and cooked. The steamed soup dumplings (xiao long bao) are the best and must say their signature dish. Noodles are tasty and you can choose from dry or soup noodles. We also love the pork dumplings pan fried. They don't serve alcohol but it's BYOB. The only downside is there is always a queue outside but hey, patience is a virtue and it is worth the wait! Try to come during off-peak hours.

A nice little find on a brief trip to Cambridge, hidden amongst a plefora of food outlets. Service was a little slow due to there being only 2 staff, a full house, aswell as takeaway orders. Well worth the wait. Xiao long bao made to order (pretty sure the noodles were made in house too)

It’s the best noodle restaurant in Cambridge. Beef ho fun noodle is absolutely amazing and xiao long bao is definitely the best menu from here. It’s even better than any other Chinese noodle restaurant in London. The people were really nice and friendly too.

Great local Chinese takeaway and restaurant. We ate in they only have seating for about 16 home made noodles are the reason to try this place and many people do opens at noon and they queue to get in. Not expensive about £7 for a bowl of noodle soup.

Arrived early, queued for an hour plus.... And was then treated to an absolutely delightful feast. I'd happily wait 2 hours in the queue next time! Quite simply some of the best dumplings I've ever eaten. Jellyfish, black fungus and sour kelp also worth a mention.

Waited more than an hour for food and everything came out tasting strange. The shrimps, wontons and xiao long baos did not taste fresh at all. Everything was extremely salty, which makes me wonder if they were trying to cover up the bad taste. I would not recommend.

Amazing, mouth-watering, delicious Chinese food! I couldn’t stop trying different dishes and by the end of my time at Noodles Plus was chonky and happy 🥟 Pros 1. Food! Dumplings, gyoza, noodles! Generous portions and all, down to the small bite, is flavorful and yummy. 2. A big menu, a lot of options to explore! 3. Conveniently located — I mean, Mill Road, it can’t get any better for Cambridge 😀 Cons 1. The place is quite small and popular so… queues. It’s not fun to wait for a half an hour to be seated, especially when it’s raining 🌧️ 2. We went there on a rainy day so with the place lacking in space and with a lot of people inside, it was literally a greenhouse.

Incredible place for authentic dumplings and noodles. A small shop with a great vibe, the noodles and dumplings are handmade to order. Be prepared to wait for your order though, there's only 2 people running the whole show. But it's worth the wait. Try calling ahead for takeout if waiting is an issue. pork and chive dumplings - 10/10 xiao long bao - 10/10 noodles with beef brisket - 9/10

Delicious food, very inexpensive. Only downside is there is a long queue as it’s a very small place so it does take a while to get seated and get your food. Would highly recommend the beef brisket noodles

Make sure that if you like dumplings you try this place. Quality and value for money here. There is always a queue as they don’t have many tables, and don’t expect high end service. It’s definitely a place where you eat and leave as there will be people waiting for your table.

Our favourite in Cambridge. Never disappoints. The spicy pork noodles and chilli oil are *chef’s kiss*. 10/10 😋

I am somewhat divided on this because service here is so INCREDIBLY SLOW. Even though we were part of the first "intake" of customers at 12pm, we only got our food at 1pm. The food is good, especially for the price, but I cannot genuinely recommend this unless they fix their service. Coming for dinner before 5pm makes this a lot more enjoyable of an experience, trust me. Get the dumplings and the plain noodles with sesame oil.

I literally love this place!!! 😍 Amazing home made dumplings, but also noodles, baos and much more. The price is more than reasonable and the lady is soooo kind! The waiting is definitely worth it!

This is a small Chinese restaurant run by a couple. I mean literally “run by two people”. This means chances of waiting for a table for over 1h. And if that is your case, I suggest you turning to plan B. Speaking of the quality of food, the noodles with beef brisket and the soya milk are both homemade and taste good, though the soup for the noodles is a bit salty in my view. Also, I heard the place is famous for its Xiaolong Bao, which I did not try during my last visit. The service is okay, the auntie is friendly.

Don’t come eat here if you’re in a hurry. You can wait up to an hour to be seated but the food is simply excellent. Best dumplings in Cambridge.

Food is delicious, everything is home made and prepared for you, in front of you. Even the long waiting time seems to be part of the ‘ritual’ and philosophy of the place: a paradise of calm where things are made slow, at their right time, with care… and you can definitely taste this in their food.
