Unfortunately
it
seems
the
Beehive
Centre
maybe
closing
in
the
future
to
make
way
for
work/
office
space.
The
beehive
Centre
has
free
parking,
a
poorly
laid
out
car
park,
small
selection
of
shops
and
public
transport
in
the
form
of
a
bus
serves
near
here.
Cycle
parking
is
not
secure
in
Cambridge,
many
thefts
take
place,
Beehive
Centre
included.
In
my
opinion,
Cambridge
is
rubbish
for
shopping
and
you'd
be
better
off
shopping
elsewhere.
The
beehive
Centre
itself,
has
a
small
range
of
shops
but
for
locals
it
meets
our
needs.
In
recent
times,
our
councillors
declined
approving
a
retail
park
being
built
in
favour
of
local
shops
in
a
town
called
Northstowe
(which,
4
years
on,
still
doesn't
have
a
shop).
I
am
unsure
of
the
long
term
plans
for
shopping
in
the
area.
Cambridge
has
many
wonderful
places
to
visit
but
shopping
is
not
it.
