Many shops connected to 1 car park. Has a gym across the road. Quick access from the beehive centre to the town centre.

Great place to shop. Due to tier 4 restrictions some shop allow clients to enter and other shops make you shop in the sidewalk. Waiting lines were no too long. Update 2023: beehive is crowded, even during weekends

The shops are okay, the parking is fine, the shoppers often don't know how to drive around the car park without putting people at risk but some of the shops are nice. As others are saying, the surrounding shops during rush hour are a nightmare

This place seems out of place. Being so close to the city centre nowadays, this place has nothing to do where it is right now. It screams "revamp me". The massive parking, the massive kitchen, carpet and pet shops, all these should be in the outskirts of the city, near the airport for instance, not where it is right now. During the night or in the sunday evening, it is an unsafe place with dodgy people doing dodgy business. I hope this area of the city will soon be put to better use than it is right now.

Great array of large stores, furniture, garden, home, eating establishments, coffee houses and many more. Just off the main drag behind the Grafton Centre but on the Newmarket Road. Easy to get to and free parking for 4hrs, a bonus for sure.

Great place for shopping. There is a big parking area with many parking spots, which are free for 4 hours.

Loads of large shops to choose from, if you have anything you need then you should take a trip here as there are a loads of different shops selling something for everyone

I love this selection of shops, something for everyone. Great there is a free car park there also. Especially when parking costs are extortionately high at grafton, with less shop of this type there. So sad the powers that be have plans to close beehive for a venture that serves no purpose to community people.

Many stores with good parking space. Near to city as well as the Retail park. You can combine trip for both the shopping parks. Max stay is 4hrs for parking

This shopping area may be old but it still serves the local community with everything one needs. What one doesn.t need is more offices and science labs

Excellent, mainly Asda, but several useful stores for household goods of several types, food to furnishings! Excellent parking! Unlike city!

The Beehive Centre is one of the major blocks of non-city centre shopping within Cambridge. There are a range of shops and services on site (Vets, Gyms), and a major supermarket (Asda). Many of the branches have in store collection of orders (M&S, Next). There are also a few places to get food and drink (Subway, Costa, M&S Cafe) which can be quite busy. Parking is free for 3 hours for customers who are on site. They use ANPR so you will get fined if you overstay this limit. There are lots of spaces to park, but it can get busy at the weekend. A review is only as useful as the range of shops available, but at the time of writing Beehive seems to have a good range and is a thriving hub for Cambridge.

A good selection of shops, 4 hour free parking

Unfortunately it seems the Beehive Centre maybe closing in the future to make way for work/ office space. The beehive Centre has free parking, a poorly laid out car park, small selection of shops and public transport in the form of a bus serves near here. Cycle parking is not secure in Cambridge, many thefts take place, Beehive Centre included. In my opinion, Cambridge is rubbish for shopping and you'd be better off shopping elsewhere. The beehive Centre itself, has a small range of shops but for locals it meets our needs. In recent times, our councillors declined approving a retail park being built in favour of local shops in a town called Northstowe (which, 4 years on, still doesn't have a shop). I am unsure of the long term plans for shopping in the area. Cambridge has many wonderful places to visit but shopping is not it.

Lots of useful shops, wish parking was longer than 4 hours

Good area, lots of decent shops. Only bad thing is the car park, very poorly designed

Loads of shops here, easy to get what you need. Shops are large and have a lot of stock. I recommend.

From what I can remember it's 4 hours free parking (might be 3 hours) Alot of big stores such as Adsa, tk max, hobby craft, m&s food, b&m, sports direct and a few more Plenty of parking

Hobbycraft is a wonderland for all those who loves doing craft. It gives me ideas I never had before. This store is a standard large format that offers tons of stuff at great prices...even better when sale is on. I recently shopped for return gifts for my son's bday and found that I could get things in any budget I want and stock was not a problem at all. Similar experience every time with this store in Beehive centre.

A handy place with plenty of parking. There is an Asda, M&S Food, B & M Stores, Hobby Craft

It's OK but car park run by privateers so have to be especially careful parking within the bays etc. Busy at weekends so best go early on in the week.

The beehive itself it's pretty good, it's the lack of toilets and changing facilities that let it down. The only toilets I know of other than Costa and subway are asda and they are disgusting. Baby changing is always locked too.

There is a good selection of shops here, but with a time limit of 3 hours in the car park don't spend to long looking around or stopping for that coffee, or a good day out can be spoiled by a parking ticket a few weeks later

  • 4/5 Andy D. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of shopping centres like Asda and there's a subway with it too so I can buy my subway cookies and compare them to Asdas. I have no life Roads not good I think even the council would do a better job and my brother went the wrong way but maybe he's just an idiot Overall is good I like it😎

Was back here for the first time in many years and a little relieved to see it was still mostly the same. Parking is free for up to 4 hours, while shopping. The range of stores is still very good and there are a Costa and a Subway, should you need a break.

A pretty standard branch of Pets at Home, pretty much the usual product range and animals are offered at this store. The one thing I did note when looking at the fish and asking for some help is the staff were tittle tattling and rude. If I wanted backchat when my backs turned I don't expect it from an organisation I'm potentially spending money with. The fish at the store looked reasonably healthy, no real health problems to note that I saw. No jaw dropping fish either, it you want something different go to a local independent aquatics retailer, Weston Aquatics, Ely Exotics, Amwell Aquatics, Ornamental Fish Farm, etc.

Went here to go to go outdoors, which was great, went into Asda afterwards, seems a nice enough centre, but no clothes stores.

Great parking and lovely shops I know that each b and m shop have different stock and the best is letchworth but this one is still really good

4 hours free parking is sufficient to get around most of the shops, plenty of parking and well laid out.

Beehive has a decent range of shops but can sometimes be a challenge to park as it can get very busy around peak times and weekends. Better to walk in from town or the train station.

Love this centre. There are lots of useful stores and a variety of things to see/do and buy. Abundant parking spaces as well.

Great place. Saves taking someone with disabilities into town. Saves congestion and crowds into town as Beehive shopping centre has much to offer. Keep it open. Don't turn it into flats or anything else..Cambridge will loose out.

Another good little retail park with adequate car and bicycle parking. Decent range of shops and anything you can't find here can be found just over the road at the Cambridge retail park.

  • 4/5 Monika L. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely to have so many shops in one area. There is plenty of parking, although some of the parking spaces are a little tight for a four by four car. You do have a four hour time limit on parking.
