We were in the Lake Como area and one of the people in our group of 7 arranged a fun, informative, and entertaining activity at Capitan Drake. The entire time frame for the event was between 90-120 minutes. We arrived and were greeted by a young lady named Sandu. She spoke fluent Italian and English. She had the table set up for our party of 7, and had us captivated with her knowledge of wines and delivery. I know it definitely takes a special person to get in front of people you do not know, have the ability to stay on task and message, take adhoc questions and answer them confidently. If you haven't guessed, this was a short class on wines, wine tasting, what foods go well with the wines, and at the end there is a NO pressure option to purchase some of the bottles you just sampled, and/or have them shipped to your house (for a fee). Splendida atmosfera familiare, in un locale moderno e accogliente. un tavolone per tutti, in mezzo alla sala e alcuni tavolini "di coppia" a contorno. Ottimi prodotti da degustare o da "portare a casa".
