The rooms are spacious. The grounds are extensive and well cared for. The location is just outside Orta with great views of the lake. The are is peaceful and quiet. The breakfast has many options and all fresh. The AC in the rooms works well and is effective. But generally in need of a few updates. Even when the birds are singing and the air is peaceful they put on quite loud music for breakfast. They still use the old system of small plastic bottles for shower soaps. So much plastic, why. There are no shelves next to the sink for belongings. The power socket itself comes out of the bed headrest when you unplug your device. Our shower head column was loose and turned with the water pressure. The shower head itself does not fit properly in the column and turns as well. The shower door is off the hing at the bottom. Water easily seeps out and the floor becomes a mess. For bed, this is always personal but we both felt it was very uncomfortable. It felt like sleeping on a pile of clothes,...

We had just one night here but it was great. The staff were super-friendly and helpful - Valentina on reception and a lovely Mexican lady served an amazing breakfast. Highly recommended. Good location, parking and a great view. A photo of the view from our room.

Never got the chance to experience the hotel room, and location due to sickness which i announced the hotel 4 days prior arrival. Off all the hotels in the world this one suprised me with their "winter policy". If you cancel within 240 days of you arrival date they are entitled to charge you the full sum. No consideration of sickness or whatsoever. So definatly no a place to book in advance, unless your are there and 100% garantee that you will stay. Communication and request for a voucher did not help. Be warned, don't book / reserve directly.
