My second experience with Jimboy's. First time I had a burrito and sat inside. This time I really wanted to try the crunch tacos. As I was eating the tacos I became lost in the fact dogs probably eat better at this point in time. The meat was a soft fleshy amalgamation of protein and greasy in a cube form. I see the future and all signs point to diarrhea.

A NorCal institution. Don't miss out on their Parmesan covered tacos filled with ground beef, melty melty cheese and sauce. Of course there's lettuce in there too, but I take most of that out. Their beans and cheese burrito is amazing, as is their taco burger. This location was clean and had friendly staff.

It's getting better! Yeay!! It was so good a few years back. And then went wayyyy downhill. Decided to give it another try and was happy!! My only complaint is that the queso dip was very very thin! So thin it wouldn't stay on the chip! Lol! The queso dip in auburn is fantastic! Thick and rich! It brought back memories of when I worked at a restaurant and my manager would go around watering EVERYTHING down. Lol! If it could be thinned ,he would be thinning it!!

I ordered an enchilada Taco combo and the taco shell was soggy. The enchilada sauce tasted like watered down tomato sauce. This was the worst Jimboy's restaurant I've ever been to.

Overpriced bean burrito on multiple occasions has tasted tart and spoiled like a bad avocado. Service is good and I don’t fault the employees. I’m sure rotten pinto beans are a cost saving measure from management. See you at the race to the bottom.

Great location, food was made with love and drive thru was friendly! Combo burritos with some sour cream and the classic tacos were amazing. I would revisit.

It's Jimboys so food is typically always good. It's my opinion that the only thing that changes is the level of Customer service that changes more often than not.

I do love a good jimboys taco. Sometimes they are not too good. This location is pretty consistently good. I wish they served Mexican coke and played some decent music.

The tacos were ok, but the queso was burnt tasting and the chips were stale. My Combo burrito was burnt and tasted off. I haven't had this bad of an experience with Jimboy's in quite some time. Probably won't be going back anytime soon. These guys need to get it together or if they hate their jobs, go do something else.

1st time there. Not really impressed. I know we're stuck in inflation right now, but $3.55 for a small chicken Taco with 4 pieces of chicken in it? The flavor was good, but the price is way too high for what you get.

I work directly next door. With only a 30 minute lunch break, Jimboys has always seemed like the fastest option but the drive-thru *despite being the only vehicle there* has exceeded my 30 minute break multiple times. Going inside doesn’t make any difference. I always tip well even though I never get what I ordered. Either the food is a mess, or something is forgotten *my order always consists of 3 things - chips, queso & a taco* I’ve decided to stop wasting my time and money here. Placerville Jimboy's is the better one to go to.

I don’t think a single item I ate was seasoned. Unsalted chips and guacamole with no flavor. Gotta stick to actual Mexican food places.

Tacos were great but don't try the taquitos if you're going through the drive-thru. Within 2 minutes they're soggy. Plus they're mini taquitos they're not your regular size expected taquito

We ordered tacos and burritos. The tacos were dripping in oil. They had no flavor, I didn’t see or taste cheese inside. It was horrible not going back. Renee OBanion

It's been years since I went to a Jimboys. I used to LOVE their tacos! But... these were extra, extra greasy. Maybe they've always been and now that I'm older, I noticed it?

Today’s experience wasn’t that great, first it took too long for the counter person to take our order, then one item I ordered wasn’t available. To make matters worse the restaurant was ice cold, it took 20 minutes to get our meal then I had to ask for taco sauce packets. A real cluster.

So slow. And, once again, the order was completely wrong. Used to love Jimboy’s..not anymore 😔

Picked up order 2pm. Went home. Items missing. I tried calling 4 times before 4pm. No answer. Must be busy...Dinner customers. So l thought I should just go back there..12 miles one way. Site says open till 8pm. It was closed. Update your hours on your site! Post new hours on building! Have a recorded message on your phone! Gas is $5 gallon.. I wasted $5, trying to correct their error, just to find another of their errors.. Tomorrow.. another trip..another $5 in gas..to get the darn missing burrito!

It's not as flavorful as it used to be the original ground beef even the outside not cooked the same and practically no cheese on the outside like before...that and the ground beef lacking in flavor big time ...how sad I go but for other items I really miss the old original taco sometime I buy one just to see if it's been fixed but it's been 2 years ...so sad...

I ordered two avocado chicken salads. What I got was a plastic bowl full of lettuce with some brown avocado a few olives four slices of mushy tomato and chicken that tasted like it came from a can. I was given two spoons to eat my two orders of avocado chicken salad with. Not only did it taste bad it was almost $10 per plate. This was the worst dinner I could imagine. And it didn’t even taste decent or fresh. I will not return to Jimboys again!

I ordered 6 chicken tacos for my family. The tortillas were way undercooked & limp and there was literally nothing in them!! Maybe a teaspoon of food. I called twice to give them a chance to make it right and there was no answer. I am going to toss this and dispute the charge with my bank. Never again.

First time ordering one of their tahoo burritos...Horrible, no red sauce, cheese, or sour cream to be found in the burrito. I ate more than half before I realized the stuff missing or so little of I Wasn't able to taste any of it..also not very tasty..the service was good and the restaurant is clean. This was the second time at this location, both times I had food that did not live up to the Jimboys quality.

Ordered Doordash and got the worst Jimboys I have ever received. My 6 bean and cheese burritos were 3/4 cheese 1/4 bean, my 6 tacos were between raw and soggy and my 6 churros were burnt 🤦‍♀️😒
