GREAT COUNTRY SIDE SLEIGH RIDE Had booked a short private tour around the area and were hosted by Brooklyn. We had a lovely and comfy ride through the country side and some sweet background stories told by Brooklyn. "O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh".... Loved every minute of it. At the we got the blanket as a souvenir. Nice! Greetings, from the Netherlands!

This was a great experience to take on. We did the Cowboy Cook Out and had a great time. The food was phenomenal as we had steak, potatoes, and a few other dishes. The ride was full of good information and laughs. I would recommend this to others. My star ranking system: 1: Bad / Don't go there 2: Could be better 3: Average 4: Above average but not the best 5: A true top notch place

We loved it! This is our second or third time with Banff Trail Riders. Thank you to Andre, Maya, Megan and Grace and the rest of the staff for making this an exciting experience especially for my nephew from Ontario as this was his first horse ride and his first trip Out West to Alberta. A special thank you to Andre for his kindness and gentleness with assisting my nephew.

Loved this 1 hr trail ride. They have 2 seprate 1 hr rides. One thru the town and the other towards the cave basins. I prefer the cave basin side, more mountain scenery and less of the town feel. Guides are smart and horses are super tranquil. A small girl perhaps 8yrs old was in the group we were assigned to with her parents. About a quarter of the way in she got scared and had to turn around with her mom and guide. Please make sure your kids like being up high on the horses as it can be super scary for them. CONS: i probably would try and find a free ride place next time as riding in single file can get boring.

We had such an incredible experience with the team at Banff Trail Riders. My husband went on horseback with our 10 year old and I rode in the wagon with our younger son. Our guide Mark was so knowledgeable about local wildlife and made the journey enjoyable and fun. The cowboy lunch afterward was delicious and I will spend the rest of my life trying to replicate the secret baked bean recipe. If you are traveling to Banff and want to make memories, you are in great hands with this group!

Did the 1 hour Spray River Ride with my family and it was a fun experience! Although I did feel a little bad for the horsies (they were all cooped up & fenced in with little space between each other), I do think they are well taken care of. I’m not sure how the 1 hr bow valley ride is but I recommend you do the spray river because it was nice to be able to cross through water twice. The guide at the front also gave some fun facts while riding but I feel like they could do more to make the ride even more exciting.

We had such a great time on our sleigh ride! Our guide was so nice and told us some great stories. He was super knowledgeable of horses and loved talking with him! We had lots of kids with us and they were so kind and patient. 100% recommend!!

Had a lovely 2 person private sleigh ride. Oliver was super friendly and gave us lots of great information about the horses, how they are cared for and lots information about the working life of the horses. It was a very relaxing experience being pulled around surrounded by beautiful mountains covered in snow. We had a beautiful horse named Bart who was very friendly ♡ The sleigh ride also came with a little complimentary blanket to take home and a smores kit for after the ride.

I went on the 2 hour Sundance Loop and had a great time! We got saddled and were taught the basics of western riding before Hannah and Emma took us on a trail ride with glacial river, forest, and mountain views. The horses are all rescues from horse auctions, very well trained and looked after. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.

If this isn’t fun, I don’t know what is! Went for the most popular bow river ride, there were 8 guests and 2 guides. Interacting with the horses are extremely fun (I partnered with tug, very energetic), most horses are friendly and docile. !Beginner friendly! Staffs will teach you the basics of riding in the beginning, they are very patient and friendly. The hour long trip is peaceful and relaxing ( mosquitoes are annoying, be prepared, long sleeves and pants recommend) I would also recommend a face cover (mask) because horse in front of you will create some dust, and there are bugs flying around. You will be perfectly safe on horse if you follow all instructions. Enjoy your ride, one of the best experience in banff

So happy I went here. It’s an easy walk from the town centre and easy to find. The staff are awesome - so helpful and friendly. The horses were all very well behaved; apart from some sneaky munching, they were absolutely perfect. Riding western-style was very fun and the views were incredible - pictures don’t do it justice. Would highly recommend going here 🐴

This Banff Horse drawn carriage adventure was well worth the cost! Banff trail riders are a 'well-oiled machine' service! We took the horse drawn carriage, met some out of country folks, learned a bit about the Banff beginnings, and what a surprise the meal and class-act country evening dinner hang out venue was! Our steak and baked beans were done to perfection, and was ready quickly upon arrival. An idea: To allow everyone to hear the guide, maybe giving them a mic so the back of the wagon could hear, and maybe an old guitar available on the ride to let the talented riders play some music would have been fun. We could donate one if allowable. Also it might be fun to invite some musician type volunteers along to play at the dinner? Loved this birthday celebration opportunity! Would highly recommend.

Beautiful! We took the one hour tour and we got to walk through the water twice. Got to see some beautiful views of the mountains and got to walk along the waterfalls of bow river. They provide so much history and information along the way. The ladies who lead the tour were so kind. They don't expect tips but it's always nice :)

All around AMAZING experience. The staff care greatly for the horses and were very kind as well as knowledgeable/ professional. If you love history and factoids then Mike is your man, he is packed full of knowledge of the area. We went on the 1 hour trail ride along the base of the mountain and it was such a beautiful scene. Thank you so much for the experience

Amazing experience, we did the wagon ride and cookout. Brooklyn and Mike were amazing hosts and so knowledgeable about the area. Must also thank Wayne and Luke, even if Luke was feeling lazy 😅. The horses are all well looked after and treated so well, I love that they also rescue horses as well. Great experience can not recommend enough and the food was delicious 😋

This was such a fun place. The sleigh ride was wonderful, you're able to see different mountain views you can't see anywhere else. We even saw a coyote along the trail. There was hot chocolate and a warm fire after the ride. Everyone was super friendly.

This place was amazing. Very friendly staff. So wonderful with my 3 teenage daughters who went on the 2 hour trail ride. Guide Cailin was wonderful and my girls really enjoyed chatting with her throughout the ride. Very easy to sign up, register, and get set up. Knowledgeable staff who took care of everyone - so professional and kind. Highly recommend.
