We love House of TARG. The food and drinks are great and the venue is very memorable. They have a great selection of pinball machines and classic arcade game cabinets. My only complaint is that some of the older games don't work and/or eat your coins (we tried to play 4 players on Ninja Turtles but it ate our quarters and only 2 of us could play). Pierogies were amazing!

Had an absolute blast here. On Sunday you can play unlimited for $10. They have a great variety of pinball machines. The stranger things pinball machine was so fun! Also some really good classic games. I finally got to finish a shooting game with never ending lives!

Looking for a fun Birthday Party location?? This is THE place!! My 10 year old and his friends had such a great time! As did I! Large size arcade, with loads of different types of games and a great collection of pinball machines as well. 10$ for free-play afternoons, and they had no issues with me bringing in my own cake. Free water available, and they make amazing perogies! 😋 Highly recommend this venue!

Came here with my oldest after moving her into her student house for University. She had never played pinball and wanted to check it out. There were quite a few games to play and we really enjoyed the fact we came on a Free Play Sunday (one price, play as much as you want.) The perogies are amazing! with sides of pickled beets and sauerkraut, they are really flavourful. I love the fact they have vegan and gluten free options too.

The House of Targ has the best selection of arcade games in the city. There are long racks of pinball tables and classic video games to enjoy playing. But the House of Targ has more, it also has amazing house made perogies, great live punk band music (even one of the Ramones came and played there) and good priced draft beer. And who doesn't love the three classic P's, Perogies, Pinball and Punk. The House of Targ is located at 1077 Bank St and Sunnyside Ave. It is a great place for everyone and it even hosts office and kids birthday parties. Update: just went again to the House of TARG ‘All you can play’ pinball games event. I loved it. Just to hear the golden sound of bumpers buzzing, bells ringing and the wack sound when earning enough points for a free game is truly amazing! Additionally, the jalapeño perogies and ABC draft beer all went down flawlessly. If you like my reviews, photos or videos use the flipper and give them a thumbs up.

Really cool bar with a great selection of pinball machines. They really need to up the AC. The music is kind of loud. The guitar hero is my favorite game but the volume needs to be louder, you can't hear it at all. Really great selection of drinks I've never heard of and loved. Friendly staff and the food arrived quickly.

Thank you for providing such an awesome vegan option 🌱❣️ The staff was amazing and I appreciated that the time was taken to ask consent before stamping our hand and that there was free fememine products. Top Notch place; I'll definitely be back!

It was nice to have my daughter experience arcade as I did when I was young. She enjoyed the thrill of playing pinball and the addiction to it. She thought it was awesome and was impressed with my mad skills of playing 3 balls at once. Food didn't have big selection but the poutine perogies were tasty and good portion. Lots of games, fortunately because several were out of order. Will definitely return for another family time as cost was reasonable. Family time is absolutely affordable for a large family with several kids. It is a definitely good experience for the tech kids of today to see how their parents had fun. Also great fun for parents to have a moment to go to their fun youth.

Was there last night for an amazing Drag event. Staff were so kind, amazing music, amazing show, super positive vibes/atmosphere, had the pizza and balsamic perogies and a fruity drink - HEAVEN!! Special thanks to Chris the door man/security for assisting us with heavy items up the stairs - amazing soul you are! Would recommend and will absolutely return. Thank you.

The place was really loud, it was annoying being unable to hear each other when we wanted to talk. Also I was getting a bit of a headache. Unfortunately the menu was small on the day we went, we only had 3 options: snack perogies, pizza perogies and chips. It's too bad because we wanted to try the mushrooms perogies. The traditional perogies were pretty bland, but they were warm and crispy; the texture was really nice. They came with sour cream. We went on a "free to play" night, so we paid 10$ at the entrance (per person) and then played unlimited games. We would say these are the best nights to go on. Luckily it wasn't too crowded, but we still had to wait a bit for certain games, nothing too crazy though. Wasn't really our kind of place but for people who are in this type of scene, we're sure it must be better.

Great atmosphere, staff is friendly, even when I accidentally left my drink on the table of an arcade game the kind staff politely mentioned they have the cup holders (hard to see in the dark) instead of getting rude or upset because I'm sure it's a common issue they have there. Food is good, a touch pricey but the atmosphere makes up for it. Overall, if you go on a Sunday it's 11$ for all you can play. One of the only fun and affordable things to do in the city

Free play Sunday is a blast!! This place has real character. The games are fun, the atmosphere is chill, the staff are super nice and friendly. If you're sensitive to high levels of noise (I am), bring earplugs like Loops and it's all good. Would definitely come back.

okay venue, but it's warm with low ceilings down there, it's pretty much a basement and not an ideal music venue. Staff is just so unnecessarily rude from the door guy, security lady, and some bartenders. Two stars as they did all snap out of their attitudes once someone was injured.

Had the grandkids for a few days and we took advantage of the family time at the house of targ. It was fun watching them run from machine to machine trying both pinballs and Legacy gaming platforms. Definitely worth a trip

Haven't been in this club for years but frequent it monthly now. They've revamped the place and the EV sound system is quite good. Dancing, bands, a fabulous monthly DRAG show, a bar, perogies and many pinball machines make this joint multi-faceted. It is located on an underground floor of the building.

Awesome free play days - Pay entry fee and play all games for free. Not worth it to play any other time as games are $1-$2. Perogies are awesome! Strange, I know, very limited menu....expensive perogies ...$20 - but yeah - freakishly good! The staff are awesome. LGBTQ friendly. It's a loud place, with the games, music, announcements so wear ear plugs if you are sensitive. Bathrooms are rough....but they were clean enough.... The front booth area, near the entrance, do not sit there! The stink from the old building, sewage, city drains, something, is God awful rank! I imagine when they have banger bands, or comedy nights, people are drunk enough to not notice .....but P-Hew!! If not for the smell of the place, and the rough bathrooms and sticky peeling floor (be careful, there are many spots of floor lifting) I would give 4 stars. Wear a mask, as you are in a basement with little to no ventilation.
