10/10 My stylist (Lisa) was incredible! She was so friendly, easy to talk to, did a fabulous job, and was so knowledgeable!! I got a botanical treatment with signature blow dry style included. Was in a rush to meet a friend so missed out on getting a before and after pic! I appreciated my stylists suggestions. And also the booking email of what to expect! The salon was very clean. The little shop was really well stocked and nice. The girl at the desk was very nice. It was nice that they offered tea or water while we waited. The only thing I was confused about it is that masks were still required for clients and stylists even though the mandate has been lifted in the province. Which doesn’t make sense. (Rating does not reflect this confusion.)

The hairstylist I had - Ana - was a new student, but she did a fantastic job on my color service! I have dark hair that is hard to lift, but she managed to get not only a bright lift, but a beautiful tone and color on top. She was super friendly and kind. The prices are also great and definitely worth it!

Fernan was excellent - he explained clearly what he was doing and kept checking in along the way to make sure I was comfortable/happy. It’s such a delight to spend the morning at Aveda - from the lovely Kyle who greeted me when I arrived, to Amber who was evaluating Fernan and Fernan himself - who I’m POSITIVE is just at the beginning of an amazing career as a stylist. He’s clearly gifted and also a really great human.

I went to Aveda for a haircut. I had the pleasure of being with Jada. From checkin to checkout, the experience was seem less. I love the cut and the Toner she recommended I do. My hair looks better than ever and for very little money. Thank you!! I’m so happy.

Great experience. My first time visiting this salon. Jullie did an amazing job, I showed her the picture of the desired haircut, she confirmed a few more details and did her magic. I'm very happy with my fresh cut. Very convenient that I could book an appointment online and chose the stylist and see the approximate price for the service.

Ive used Aveda 3 times now over the past 2 years. I really enjoy that they take the time with the cut. Always recommending ways to improve my hair health. Its nice that they give you a head massage with each appointment.

John was very attentive and professional. I thought he took my considerations into account but also was professional enough to say that I realistically couldn't get the blond I wanted on my first go. Which is good because I have had hairdressers in the past who are not honest. He gave me Partial highlights and I love the highlights and colour. I am excited to see John in the future and go blonder

The new Aveda Salon/School on Portage Avenue is lovely - bright, spacious and welcoming. My student, Katrina, was friendly and knowledgeable. She listened carefully to what I wanted and did a fantastic job on my highlights and trim - I’m extremely satisfied with the end result. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Super nice, friendly and amazing skills. I enjoyed how they made me feel so pampered. It was beyond relaxing and such a special treat that they made me feel beautiful. I definitely hope to have my hair cared for by Fernando again, even if it's where ever they move onto. Their professional level it top level. I highly recommend Fernando to everyone.

I wanted a change from my warm highlights and LJ suggested darker highlights; blue, green and purple. The results were better than I could have imagined. I love ❤️ the colors and have gotten so many compliments from people. I also got the botanical treatment and now my hair feels so luxurious. LJ is absolutely awesome and definitely knows what she is doing. Thank you ♥️

Fernan was the best! He was very kind all around, as well as considerate of the ear piercings I have without even mentioning them! You can tell he has a passion for what he is doing, and that made it all the better.
