My fiancé and I had a wonderful afternoon at Cabin OnThe9 having our photos taken for an engagement shoot! The area was stunning, quiet, private and offered breathtaking nature views. The owners were very kind and welcoming and pre-heated the cabin for our arrival to ensure we kept warm! The cabin itself is super cozy and comes equipped with a wood burning stove, games and little relaxing nooks. The drive out to the cabin felt is beautiful and makes you feel you're a lot further from the city than you are. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

Irecently had the pleasure of staying at Onthe9, a magnificent 140-year-old Victorian house nestled in the charming town of Mono, Ontario. From the moment I stepped through the front door, I was transported to a world of timeless beauty and enchantment. The Bohemian Room, where I had the pleasure of staying, was a true testament to the owner's impeccable taste and attention to detail. Every corner of the room exuded an air of artistic flair, with vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and carefully curated decor. It was like stepping into a dreamy haven, where creativity and comfort coexist in perfect harmony. The bed itself was a luxurious sanctuary, adorned with soft linens and plush pillows that beckoned me to unwind and indulge in a restful slumber. The room's large windows bathed the space in natural light, casting a warm glow on the unique furnishings and vintage accents that adorned the space. It was truly a bohemian paradise, inviting me to relax, rejuvenate, and embrace the beauty of the moment. Beyond the captivating aesthetics, Onthe9 provided an exceptional level of hospitality. The owners, with their warm and welcoming demeanor, made me feel like a cherished guest in their own home. Their genuine care and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Exploring the grounds of Onthe9 was like stepping into a storybook. The Victorian architecture, with its ornate details and elegant charm, was a sight to behold. I found myself meandering through the lush gardens, discovering hidden nooks and crannies that seemed straight out of a fairytale. The surrounding natural beauty, with its rolling hills and picturesque landscapes, further added to the allure of this enchanting retreat. The location of Onthe9 proved to be ideal for those seeking both tranquility and adventure. Mono, Ontario, with its quaint atmosphere and idyllic surroundings, offered a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It served as a perfect base for exploring the breathtaking nearby trails, captivating local shops, and charming cafes that dotted the area. Each day brought new discoveries and delightful experiences that left me yearning for more. I cannot recommend Onthe9 highly enough. Whether you are seeking a romantic getaway, a creative retreat, or simply a place to unwind and reconnect with yourself and nature, this hidden gem is an absolute treasure. From its rich history to its captivating beauty, every moment spent at Onthe9 is a testament to the art of hospitality and the magic of creating lasting memories. Our stay at the Pine Lodge was exceptional and easy from start to finish. If you are looking for a comfortable stay, look no further. The cottage has a very 1950's cottage core look with a nautical twist. Very clean and well kept. As we learned, there is no need for bottled water as the water is 100% safe to drink. If you are looking for some activities to do there is an amazing trail on the property that leads to a beautiful waterfall and a pond. Listen to the many sounds of all the forest creatures that live in the forest and on the lake itself. Take a canoe and go to Crown Island in the middle of Wolfe Lake. Overall, if you are looking for a spot to unplug and unwind, look no further as Pine Lodge on Wolfe Lake in Nipissing is the place to be!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Bill was absolutely amazing to work with. He went above and beyond to help accommodate me as I planned a surprise birthday getaway for my partner’s 40th. We stayed at the “cabin on the 9” and it was stunning. As avid travelers always seeking out the most unique stays, we were thrilled to experience this small cabin in the woods and it did not disappoint. It was exactly as described. The cabin was spotless and provided everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Comfortable bed, cozy wood burning stove, and a beautiful view of your own private lake. Taking the floating dock out to soak up the sun and cooling off in the water was a great way to start off the summer. Campfires under the stars surrounded by the towering pines, filled our hearts with a sense of oneness with nature. Bill’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed. He had little sitting areas set up in different places around the cabin that spoke to all the different vibes one would desire. From catching the early morning sun to shade in the woods, he has you covered. And while you feel like you are off the beaten bath, the cabin is also conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Orangeville which has a cute downtown full of cafes, restaurants, & shops. Mochaberry for coffee and Greystones for dinner will check all the boxes for the coffee connoisseur and foodie. Best mocha and best burger we have ever had. Beautiful hikes nearby as well! Overall our stay was incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday escape for my partner. HIGHLY recommend and would be back in a heartbeat. Bill is an amazing human being whom we feel blessed to have met. It’s the beauty of this life that shows us how a simple meeting as strangers can imprint on ones soul an unforgettable kindness. Treat yourself to a getaway experience and book with Bill. You will leave feeling refreshed and reconnected to nature and self.

On July 10, 2021 our daughter was married at on the 9. This venue proved to be absolutely spectacular. From the beautiful old home to the airstream trailer right down to the beautifully placed cabin at the pond all added an air of elegance and class. The barn made for elegant and intimate dinner. You can tell by the movement of the photographers that they had many many places they wanted to move around to for extra photos. It was a photographers dream. Bill Dandie and his staff were incredibly accommodating. The property itself was absolutely stunning. Highly recommended for a wedding venue.

It is way more beautiful in person. Pictures don’t do it any justice. Friendly staff too. I was here as an event planner setting up for a photography workshop. Everyone who attended loved the place.

The name says it all “spectacular cabin setting in the woods” and it truly is. We have stayed in the cabin a handful of times and each experience has been nothing short of outstanding...regardless of the time of year. A more unique place you will not find. Peace and quiet with surroundings like no other. The scenery is truly incredible. Our host Bill and staff have bent over backwards to ensure our stay not only meets but exceeds our expectation every time. This place is truly a gem.

Just amazing! The whole trip was a wonderful experience, from the beautiful cabin surrounded by nature, to the most incredible people running it. It felt like I was in another world... Easy to get to, completely private, everything you could possible need and more. And the service was excellent, they are friendly and knowledgeable and always happy to assist in any way to make your stay is one to remember. I have been been there couple of times and will be going back soon. Can not say enough great things about this gem... a little slice of heaven.

I can’t express enough how amazing our experience was staying at this beautiful cabin in the woods. It really is such a magical place!!! Since our visit, I’ve shared this spot with all my friends & family in hopes that they too get to experience this place one day. We came here to celebrate my birthday, however, things took a dark turn before we left home when our dog started feeling ill. Bill & Loreto were checking in on us throughout the day, making sure things were ok; they truly cared about what we were going through and when we finally did arrive later in the evening, they greeted us so warmly. Honestly, the most incredible hosts! We will surely be returning one day. Had so much fun skating on the pond; it felt like a private oasis! Book now; you won’t regret it!!!

Peace and beauty one hour outside of Toronto. Third time visiting, certainly not the last. That cabin is perfect to enjoy the surrounding nature while staying warm, playing board games or reading while feeding the wood stove. On the 9 is the way!

My partner and I stayed at On the 9 for a weekend stay in September. We stayed in the front room of the Victorian house on the property. I cannot say enough good things about the location, house, and service at On the 9. The room and whole house were impeccably clean and welcoming. Anything and everything you would need is available and included, making the stay easy and comfortable. The styling really shows the owner’s personality, and it makes for a unique stay and easy conversation starters! Do not hesitate to book a getaway at On the 9 - we will definitely be back! Thank you Bill for going above and beyond to make the trip special!
