Hike consists of two parts: 1) Short (15 - 20 mins), mostly uphill walk on easy gravel terrain. This gets you to the lake where you can go for a swim if you'd like. If not there are a couple of benches to sit and rest. 2) Steep climb on a slippery slope up to some high rocks (~5 minutes). This is a natural viewpoint above the lake and gives you a panoramic perspective. There are some ropes available to help you on the climb. But I wouldn't rely on them too much - I noticed it's frayed in some points and the knots aren't really tied to anything that can take a lot of weight. It's an 'unofficial' route up, cared for by volunteers. So proceed with caution. I can guarantee that the view is worth the effort. Beautiful!

Short hike, about 15-20 minutes, but some of it up hill. Once you are there you can climb to the top, there is a rope to help get up and down, though it is very steep. But the view is amazing and so worth it. Also, this is a very very popular site, parking lot before the trail was packed and lined all the way down the road. Just be aware, there was about 30-40, maybe more cars when we were here and 4 times that in people. It was packed. I'd recommend getting up and going here early!

Absolutely stunning! Gorgeous and totally worth the hike! It was reasonably short and easy to get to the lake. To get to this view though, you have to go up a very vertical trail, which was difficult for some families and those who are afraid of heights.

I fell off one of the lookout points here. It was horrific. Injured my head but more importantly my foot. Cant walk now. AND insult to injury, i broke my phone and really hurt my pride. People watched me cartwheeling down the embankment. So embarrassing. I tried not to cry but i bawled when the ambulance arrived. I KNOW everyone on the trail was laughing at me... Great place to go but if its windy and youre a stick like i am, maybe dont stand on the edge for a selfie.

Love this spot for swimming and pictures! It's a relatively easy hike in(just one hill) to climb. Fresh water that isn't nearly as cold as the Atlantic. There are a few benches around, and a few places to get in and out of the water. Usually busy, but not overflowing.

We camped here with our tent and used the very nice wooden washrooms inside. Our host, Kevin, was very friendly and helpful, we had a very nice chat over some coffee with good recommendations for the surrounding area. Even outside in the tent we had very good wifi reception. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful spot, you can actually go up a hill on a rope and take a panoramic picture of the lake from above. The water is green and shiny, it's a little cold so it's ideal for a hot weather. There is an abrupt change in depth and it's so deep you can't see anything but a floatie is a nice addition when you go there.

Beautiful spot! I couldn't go up all the way out of fear for heights (wobbly legs only got me so far haha). There's also a rope people have added to help you climb up the trail. The boulder trail isn't very long from the bottom of the rock to the top, but very steep. Locals & tourists swim in the water too.

👍👍 Very quiet and peaceful. Absolutely gorgeous view! It's a nice quick hike up to get here. There are small "trails" around the body of water as well. The water is pristine and serene. Highly, highly recommended!
