I do not recommend coming here, you'd be better off going to first choice, and that's saying a lot. I took my nephew here to get a hair cut. I chose Laheys because they were the only spot I could get him into to. If I had my time back, we'd be better off waiting to go somewhere else. Firstly, when we walked in, the woman who sat us down was being quite rude. She sat my nephew down and asked what he wanted, to which we replied, "I just want my same hair style, but just shorter". The hair style he had was a middle part. He asked her to only take about 3-4 inches off all around. The woman took about 6 or 7 inches off and nearly gave him a buzz cut. Yet worst of all, she accidentally shaved off half of his eyebrow with the razor! I didn't notice until I had payed but half of his left eyebrow was missing. Do not go here unless you want a bad haircut and half your eye brow shaved off.

Worst haircut service I’ve received so far. The lady who did my hair was aggressive to the point that she cut my scalp and did nothing sort of styling. Almost poked into my eye with the scissor. I literally felt threatened. Ruined my hairline. She didn’t even bothered doing the side line. When I asked if she could just line it she said “I don’t think you need it” and started taking off my apron. $22 and my hair ruined. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going through this.

***temporary review*** Went for a cut today and was very specific of what I had wanted “trim the sides, and AROUND my permed Mohawk/mullet”. This stylist completely chopped off the longest part of my mullet. I am very disappointed. For a long time, I carried the “well, it’s just hair motto”, but this stylist ruined my hair. I spent a very long time growing out my hair, and it was gone in seconds. This was my first experience with this salon. I have a follow-up with the manager later this evening.

I've been going here for 40 years, how's that for loyalty? Always the same great customer service and friendly faces, trained professionals will greet you when you enter their modern Salon..they are accommodating for walk-in clients, the wait time is usually short however I do make an appointment when I can. Maurice Lahey has come a long way from his beginning on Pennywell Road many years ago. Wonderful people and a great place.

I LOVED my visit with Holly yesterday. I had really uneven dark and red tones in my hair. She brightened me up so much. What a difference. I highly recommend her. My first time at her salon, and I’ll definitely go back :)

Best and most friendly service ever. I'd like to praise Lisa the way she deserves but I don't want her so busy that she can't fit me in...haha. Very reasonable prices and a great atmosphere and yes Lisa really is great. From what I can see the whole staff are immensely talented and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Fantastic haircut! Ask for Lisa if possible. Lisa is very sweet, skilled, and talented with her work. The staff are all welcoming, I highly recommend this business. This is my regular place to get a great cut.
