👍👍 Floathouse was awesome. There's water and silk road teas you can enjoy post float, relaxing environment. Each room comes with towel, bathrobe and a shower. You shower off first before float, no scented oils or product in the tubs or there's a fee charged that you learn about in the waiver. Very easy... People often mention float, time, experience,

Floathouse was awesome. There's water and silk road teas you can enjoy post float, relaxing environment. Each room comes with towel, bathrobe and a shower. You shower off first before float, no scented oils or product in the tubs or there's a fee charged that you learn about in the waiver. Very easy to float, it's almost like a meditation, you approach a relaxation close to sleep. Makes you realize how fast paced and how often we are on autopilot for "next thing, next thing, next thing" in life with our to do lists. Overall it was sweet, and they are getting a sauna room installed soon. One thing, if you have any cuts or wounds, open skin, you don't want to float or it will sting too much, my hands had some cuts from work and even with petroleum jelly they give you to seal it from salt, it still stung and I still couldn't tolerate fully submersing my hands. They got promo for $65 float first time. Worth checking out.

The Float house is a wonderful spot. The facilities are clean, and designed in a welcoming and calming style. I went for a few floats when they first opened many years ago, moved away and came back. I was impressed by the consistency of the design, and helpful and nice people still working at the Float House. They gave me an educational refresh on what to expect for my float, provided earplugs and some petroleum jelly to cover some recent dog scratches. There was also print outs on the walls. Looks like they will have a sauna and cold plunge available in the near future, which I am excited to check out. If you are new to floating, this is the place to go. If you have floated before, this is the place to go!

I really enjoyed the customer service of the lady working there, the access to shower gels, shampoos and other amenities and the detailed explanation of what to expect as it was my first time. The experience was good. The only negative is a personal one since I am not spiritual and don't meditate so apart from relaxing I didn't have a transcendental experience like perhaps some other customers are likely to have.

The float experience.... It was amazing to feel weightless. The amount of salt in the water makes even the heftiest of people (myself included) float which in itself is a pretty incredible feeling!! I turned the lights off in the tank early on because they cycle through the colours and even with my eyes closed, I could tell when it was yellow orange or green because it was so bright... anyways, I turned them off, and it was BLACK - LIKE super dark.. but calm...then at the very end, I turned the music off and just listened to my breath which was very peaceful. It made my back feel amazing... stretching it out while floating and not touching anything was super cool (the tanks are biiiiig!!) The part that took some getting used to was the humidity... that made me panic more than being enclosed in the tank lol (oh and you have the freedom to leave it open, close it a little, or close it all the way) I drifted off to sleep a few times and had a few split seconds of panic when I woke myself snoring, but that's to be expected haha The unfortunate part however... was that they make you wear these silly little slippers in the facility. I totally understand the purpose of them, but they need grips or something added to the bottoma because they caused me to slip on the floor in the room... causing my foot to slam into and get wedged under the tank... a pulled groin, and bruised foot, ouch! On a side note - who knew I could do the splits?! I will definitely be back. The facility was clean and inviting, the staff was friendly and informative and made sure all od our questions as first timers were answered. However, when I return, I will definitely be sure to be mindful of the slippery floors while wearing the slippers though, cause ouch!

They nailed the experience from top to bottom. Beautiful, clean, calm, inviting environment. I’d never done this before but am officially hooked. The closest I can describe my experience was ethereal; that is, after I got through the incredible amount of chatter in my mind and fought off the feeling that I should be ‘doing something’. 😂

My time at the float house has been extremely beneficial in helping me reach my healing goals. It is also far more affordable than other modalities I’ve turned to in the past. Curious what lies within the float house? Here is a sneak peak into what this magical oasis offers…Your very own sensory deprivation tank… If you’re only learning of this experience now, I’d encourage you to do your research and learn whether you would feel comfortable embarking on the 60 minute journey of silence, peace, and floatation within your very own private capsule. Consider whether you feel safe within an enclosed space, whether you could do so in the dark, without sound, or whether you would feel more relaxed with the glowing light on - shown in the photos below - with a track of your choosing playing, as you drift off. The facility is clean, organized and the complimentary tea is fantastic 👌 Thank you to the staff and fellow floaters who keep this gem thriving in the small city of Victoria.

The attendant was great, friendly, and let me know exactly what I needed so I felt in control and comfortable for my first time. I'll be going back because the novelty of a sensory deprivation pod made it hard to turn my brain off and obtain the intended experience. Even so, the time was relaxing and would recommend to anyone on the fence that it's worth the try.

Have been in for a massage, staff is very friendly, complementary water is available. Place is very clean. The only issue is parking, finding a spot isn't an issue but you will have to pay for parking (its downtown Victoria), also parking would not allow you to pay for more than 2 hours at a time, so just beware of that, and yes they love to hand out parking tickets, it added $36 to my last massage treatment for going over the allotted time frame

👍👍 The Thai couples massage was great! The staff were amazing! Definitely very different from your average massage but an awesome experience. Very similar to a Thai massage I had in Budapest. Would 100% recommend.

😠 I had been to Big feet as I had pain in my neck and shoulders. I thought massage would be helpful. However, the lady who did my massage was continuously coughing and she caused more pain in my neck. I had severe neck pain for the next two days. I completed the reception too while making the payment...

😐 Beautiful space. Lovely staff. Ready when we arrived. Unfortunately I was cut on 3 cuticles during my mani and my shoes ruined 4 toes of my pedi. I asked for spa sandals but was told no. Had to buy the polish to fix the pedi. Didn’t expect this for the cost. Sadly I won’t be back again.

😐 This place is really hit and miss. Some of the girls that have been working there for years are great at Massages but something tells me they have a few randoms in there who do other services they use for fill ins on massages who shouldn't be so 50% of the time you get someone who doesn't know what...
