Kudos to Dr. Rosy and Jenn (dental assistant) with my crown yesterday morning. No two to three visits with a temporary crown. Dr. Rosy uses advanced dental technology using CAD which scans the area and then mills (makes) a crown while you wait - fascinating to watch. I was in-and-out in 2 hours. I moved to Victoria 18 months ago and chose Academy Dental based on online reviews and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! The front end staff have been friendly, efficient and helpful every time I’ve gone in. I like to ask questions about my oral health and the hygienists I’ve seen have all indulged me with thoughtful responses, encouragement and patience. I particularly appreciate Courtney’s collaborative approach with me as well as her sense of humour and ability to laugh. I’ve had a lot of dental work done over the years and I was a tad anxious about seeing a new dentist when I first went in for multiple fillings and a crown, but Dr Stakiw put me at ease immediately by listening to my concerns and then showing me that I was in control by consistently checking in with me and letting me set the pace. It may sound odd, but I actually look forward to my dental appointments because I love the vibe at Academy Dental and I look forward to seeing all of the people who work there. And did I mention they have massage chairs while you’re getting your teeth cleaned?! Just a fantastic place 😊

I can't recall ever having such a pleasant dental experience as I had with my recent visit to Academy Dental. From the cozy home-like environment, to the warm welcome at reception, to the most thorough and gentlest experience I've had with a hygienist, to my check up with a dentist who listened to my needs, I felt like I was in great hands every step of the way. That said, I would highly recommend Academy Dental to anyone looking for a more comfortable dental experience.

I took my 6yr old daughter to see Amber (Hygenist) and Dr Hassani for the first time. They were both friendly and patient with her and explained everything they were doing. It was a great visit. The front office staff were also lovely, as usual, to deal with. Good dental place for the whole family.

Highly recommended if you are in need of dental care. The historic house turned into a state-of-art dental office has kept its' charm and coziness. Every one was happy, friendly, professional and made the dental experience so much more relaxing and trusting.

After being introduced to Academy Dental over 35 years ago I have had nothing but the best dental care, from caring, gentle dentists to having the same hygienist for almost 25 years! Great staff and beautiful offices.
