What a great new find! I love the vibe here, such a cool space. I had “the New Normal” special coffee and a slice of apple strudel. Both were delicious! I’m definitely going to go back and check out the live music scene there!

This feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Highland Park! I found it by chance and I’m so glad I did! It has a fabulous old-school, nicknacky vibe to it. So it feels extra inviting! The owner is an absolute delight. And you can tell she has a passion for bringing a cool new spot to the area. I look forward to seeing what this place does! Also, the coffee is delicious and they have a great assortment of snacks!

The food is wonderful the music was great and the owners are amazing. This place is wonderful and a break from all of the generic Ultra Modern super bitter coffee houses in the town. You can tell this place is all about community and showcasing local artists. The programming is varied and not afraid to take chances with awesome things. (I was there for the Retro Saturday morning cartoon/build your own breakfast bowl. What a brilliant idea!) I love that it's not ridiculously busy, and is definitely a place where the people that are here care about it.

Well, decorated inside, and a nice patio. The service was great. I was able to get some suggestions on things to order. For example, I wanted a smoothie and was told the size of the cup as well as a good accompaniment for lunch. The patio has a few tables and chairs, the parking space seemed ample Inside was nicely decorated with a stage all the way at the back. They make a variety of drinks and variety of sandwiches. I would go back again.

Cute and cozy atmosphere! My iced oat vanilla latte was tasty, and I loved the St Laurent cinnamon raisin bagel too. Johanna the barista (might be spelling name wrong) was so warm and friendly to everyone! Hope to return for their events (photo from Dec '23)

I could honestly go on and on about this place and recommend it every chance I get. With amazing food to arguably the best coffee in Calgary this cafe is perfect for dates lunch or a quick bite to eat. The staff is 2nd to non. Great company and excellent customer service. They even have a stage with live performances. Or movie marathons. Congress coffee will be and will remain one of my favourite places in Calgary.

Friends were doing a show at this venue, so we came to watch. Good show, sound was excellent. Beverages were very good as well.

My husband and I met up with a friend here for coffee. This was our first time coming to the shop and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting featuring artwork by local artists, a stage for a band, and a lot of cool trinkets to see. I got a London fog and my husband got an iced coffee to stay and a drip coffee to go. We shared their turkey cranberry sandwich. Everything was great, the sandwich was delicious, and we are looking forward to coming back here for one of their many events that they host!

An amazing corner café, Johanna and Nick always welcoming with their warm smiles. There are so many events for all age groups. Finally, a space where you can enjoy local and upcoming music artists with café that has so many different drinks and salads/bakery items.

Very cozy atmosphere, great food, coffee and service. Looking forward to seeing some live music there in the near future. You decide what price you can pay for coffee. So give a little extra if you can, because they will pay it forward to someone that could use a hot coffee 👼

Love the vibe in this place. Great staff, friendly, polite. Been there a couple times, on a Sunday to hang out and enjoy the live music, and a weekday to have a client meeting. The place was perfect for both situations.
