It’s
unfortunate
to
give
this
space
a
negative
review,
because
the
space
itself
is
lovely,
well
located
and
perfectly
set
up
to
meet
the
needs
of
visitors
hoping
to
escape
and
enjoy
the
mountains
around
Revy.
When
we
saw
this
space,
we
had
high
hopes
that
it
would
be
great
for
our
large
group
however,
we
had
a
such
terrible
experience
dealing
with
the
property
management
company
and
ownership
that
I
would
not
recommend
staying
here
for
any
large
groups
unless
you
want
to
be
scammed
out
of
money
and
treated
disrespectfully.
From
the
very
beginning,
we
did
not
feel
welcomed
by
the
managers
of
this
property.
We
booked
the
entire
place
to
stay
for
a
ski
trip
with
some
friends
over
New
Year’s
Eve,
all
of
us
are
respectful
adults
in
our
mid-30s
and
have
rented
many
properties
together
in
the
past
without
issue.
We
planned
to
celebrate
the
new
year
with
the
guests
staying
in
the
rental
plus
a
small
handful
of
local
close
friends
who
were
going
to
pop
by
to
say
hello
before
heading
off
to
other
New
Year’s
plans.
There
was
not
a
no
visitors
policy
(which
was
confirmed
in
discussion
with
management),
and
we
hadn’t
planned
on
inviting
a
large
number
of
people
so
we
thought
this
would
not
be
a
problem
–
especially
on
New
Year’s
Eve.
Rather
than
engaging
with
us
civilly
to
get
to
the
source
of
the
problem,
the
very
rude
manager
Jolene
accused
us
of
planning
to
throw
a
very
large
party
and
threatened
she
had
called
the
cops
to
be
on
standby
for
the
evening.
She
was
unwilling
to
listen
to
our
perspective.
Later
we
found
that
there
was
a
large
party
down
the
street
unrelated
to
us
that
may
have
been
the
cause
of
that
confusion,
but
rather
than
speaking
with
us
directly
to
try
to
uncover
the
truth,
we
were
approached
with
a
threatening
and
hostile
tone
from
the
property
manager.
Later
when
asked
what
management's
definition
of
a
party
was
and
if
a
handful
of
friends
could
show
up
for
a
short
visit,
they
confirmed
a
small
number
of
visitors
would
be
fine.
If
management
did
not
want
not
any
celebration
on
NYE
–
they
should
have
not
booked
it
to
a
large
group
for
this
day
and
should
ensure
that
their
visitor
policies
and
quiet
hours
are
updated
accordingly.
The
second
issue
was
related
to
claims
of
damage
to
the
hot
tub.
When
we
arrived
and
opened
the
hot
tub,
there
was
a
red
bull
can
in
the
water,
the
screen
of
the
tub
had
a
notice
that
the
water
had
not
been
changed
for
30
days
and
the
arm
of
the
cover
support
was
broken.
Regrettably
we
should
have
taken
photos
at
this
time
but
having
stayed
in
many
vacation
rentals
with
this
group
of
friends
on
multiple
occasions
with
no
issues
and
knowing
this
was
a
high
traffic
hostel
space
that
is
prone
to
some
wear
and
tear,
we
didn’t
really
think
twice
about
it.
We
did
mention
these
issues
to
the
management
company
but
were
told
that
the
damage
was
impossible,
and
the
tub
is
thoroughly
checked
prior
to
guest
arrival.
It
is
worth
mentioning,
that
this
is
a
10-person
tub,
open
to
the
main
street,
with
no
close
neighbors
and
no
lock,
fencing
or
cameras
and
could
be
easily
poached
or
used
by
locals.
When
we
checked
out,
we
left
the
property
in
perfect
condition
making
sure
to
exit
well
before
the
10
AM
strict
check
out
time.
Unfortunately
following
our
stay
we
were
hit
with
an
$1100
bill
to
cover
damages
to
the
hot
tub
that
already
had
existed
upon
our
arrival
as
well
as
some
new
issues
that
were
mentioned
nowhere
in
any
of
the
hot
tub
policy,
despite
it
being
left
clean
and
in
its
original
working
order.
The
rental
company
was
not
able
to
share
any
dated
photos
of
the
tub
prior
to
the
damage
but
would
not
budge
on
the
charges
or
agree
to
split
the
difference
given
the
lack
of
documentation
on
both
sides.
Safe
to
say
we
will
not
be
re-booking
in
the
future.
I’m
sure
this
place
would
be
fine
to
stay
at
if
you
planned
to
only
book
an
individual
room,
however
if
you
decide
to
stay
here
with
a
large
group
make
sure
to
do
a
scan
upon
arrival
and
departure
and
take
any
photos
of
damage,
ideally
with
the
management
company
present,
in
case
you
end
up
in
an
unfortunate
situation
like
us.
