If you wanna afford grocieries, this is the place to go. I bought all of this for less than 100$ before tax, 104$ after tax. I was absolutely shocked. Great quality food too! Even if you're living in Halifax its worth the drive out here.

Best prices around! You can download the app to see current sales and new products. It is always very busy, but they have many cash registers open all the time. The line moves very fast! This is helpful to know if you are driving by and contemplating going into the store when it seems very busy. It is quite acceptable, but the crowds might make it difficult for people with extensive mobility issues to navigate. I believe this store started as a meat store and expanded into produce, to compete with other businesses in the area that were selling both. Now they sell all types of "supermarket" food stuffs. Much like Canadian Tire started with selling tires, and Princess Auto presumably started by selling auto parts. We live too far away to shop here regularly If we lived closer we would be "regulars" at Gateway!

Best place we have found to get meats. Amazing deals. Great deals on loads of other items as well. I follow their Facebook page for updates because it changes. But definitely worth the hour and a half drive here for sure! Not a big store but we were told they are expanding so it will eventually be bigger. Friendly lady at the checkout. Definitely recommend visiting gateway meat market!!

Sobeys and Super Store is selling the meat at a rip off price. It's was the first time going to this store we will be buying a freezer and stocking up to get through this ordeal. Meat pies are going to be delicious.

I love Gateway. Great produce and the prices are great which helps people with a low income. Their staff is so friendly and well mannered. I love how when you message them they don't ignore you they get right back to you. It will surely be my number one store to go to. I could go on and on about how i love Gateway but i would take up so much space :)

My friends and I have driven to Gateway together and we always leave with a full car, the staff are wonderful! When you are in doubt ask one of them and they will show you the way.. one even went out back to get us some more of the product that was on sale. I would recommend this store to anyone who likes to save a little bit of money especially when you're feeding more than one person. I have shown my parents this store I have shown my coworkers at the store and they've all been to see it and they all loved it! The atmosphere is family like and I'm very grateful. I would make the 40 minute drive every day if I could! 10 🌟

Gateway is my go to place now that regular grocery stores make me depressed and are so expensive. A receipt of mine from a few weeks ago. Still going on the meat for family of 3!

My favorite place to shop for groceries hands down!!! Great new deals every week. The big stores cannot even touch these deals. Also lots of pop up sales. My family saves a lot of money here! I came out the other day with 2 full shopping bags with lots of meat for $40.00. UNREAL!!! Love this store and the staff that work there. And they work hard!!!❤️
