Love the new store! It's big and bright. The staff is great and there always seems to be a lot of them. I enjoy the brands they carry. Prices are not too bad

On a recent visit to Truro I saw that the Home Hardware is now located in the mall and seemed to be quite a big store. The selection seems pretty great and I was quite happy to see such a nice assortment of products related to forestry. Unfortunately the service is pretty dreadful and that kind of ruined the experience. I'm in the market for a few more logging tools which were indeed available here, but I left empty handed. I absolutely refuse to spend money anywhere that gives bad customer service. I could here two nearby staff member rambling on about movies they've been watching. Another did speak to us but it was immediately apparent he had no interest in helping us. My local Home Hardware in Charlottetown doesn't have nearly the selection as here, but based on my experience they have 10x the customer service. You can't walk 3ft into my local store without someone saying hello and asking to assist you.

I really really like this Home Hardware. Great selection and spread over large area. Lots of staff and they’re all very helpful. Excellent experiences. Certainly giving other hardware stores a run for their money!

I was so impressed with the helpful friendly staff at this new store! I was in town to install a new AC unit for my elderly mother when I realised we didn't have all the tools we needed and the unit didn't quite fit the window. It was Sunday and close to closing time. I just needed 2 very small pieces of wood which they helped me find in a scrap bin then kindly cut to size. Then I needed a drill to drill some holes and again another friendly staff walked me over to the discount part of the store and found me a discontinued drill/impact set that worked great! Keeping that for myself!!! Was in and out in just a few minutes. Thanks to you now my Mom will be more comfortable in her little apartment!! A++

Excellent. It was my first time in this one but have had good experience in other Home Hardware stores, so I went with great confidence. It was not unwarranted. I was on a designated mission, one outside my area of expertise, and I received excellent, thorough, and friendly help. Mission accomplished!

They moved to a massive new store but they don't really seem to have more. Just wider isles. I find it crazy that Everytime I go here, they don't have what I need. So 9/10x I don't bother going to any HH. I've gone for storage bins, none. How do they not have any storage bins? I go for plumbing, they only have half of what I need, so I end up at Kent anyways. But oddly Kent won't sell short lengths of PVC. So I'll give this place credit that I can buy 6ft of PVC, but I end up elsewhere for the connections and bends. Sadly, all we have is Kent and HH and both are inferior to a Home Depot, which is an hour away. Edit: Apparently they now have a storage bin section. But the point is, HH in general doesn't typically have what you need

Well laid out store. Lots of stock staff personable, and knowledgeable. Very helpful.

Not pleased. Placed a order in october, not ghosted & they canceled my order without contacting me. Stay away go to Canadian Tire. Wasted my time personally & for my project
