Had the regular size make your own bowl with marinated salmon and tuna. I've had poke from Hawaii and Vancouver and overall this place tasted good. They've got a good selection of toppings to add. For the price it was decent for Victoria compared to Vancouver or elsewhere. They do have a limit of 6 toppings. I would come back.

Decent poke bowls, good options and flavors. Been going here often but last few times bowls have seem dry, not alot of sauce.

Multiple bones found in my Island House Bowl, it's disappointing that I could not complain in person since this was on delivery. At first it was a small piece so I understood that the kitchen missed a small bone while handling but another small piece and at last a big chunk of bone while eating was unpleasant. I lost my appetite after that. This is a safety issue since it almost stabbed my mouth. I hope you guys makes sure to clean the bones thoroughly in the future.

My favorite poke restaurant! I've been going regularly for delicious and hearty poke for 4 years. I make mine on demand and this establishment is without hesitation the best in victoria for having tried others. The portions are generous and it tastes good (unlike Poke lounge yates street!), the price is reasonable and everything is super fresh, I recommend all you can eat!

Mediocre, plain, dry. Not the best I’ve had but not the worst. If you get a bowl with rice and salad it’s going to be like 1/8 rice, 3/4 lettuce and some toppings. Maybe their other bowls are better but I wasn’t really a fan of the signature Island bowl

The food was exceptionally fresh and excellent tasting. I ordered a bowl 🥣. All kinds of choices for your bowl. You can pretty much have it made the way you want it. The service was great we got to watch our food be made right in front of us. Stayed at the restaurant to eat, and this little place was cozy. I'm not much for raw sushi type foods. I'll tell you one thing,, I was impressed and probably will go back.

Best Poké I’ve had. And I’ve had a lot… I got the Island Bowl and was seriously impressed… the fish just tastes so fresh and has an irresistible marinade coating. All the ingredients were bursting with flavor and worked together so well… was a bit steep at $15-20 per bowl but ended up being so good that I’d go again. Definitely recommend trying this place!

Mediocre. I've been eating at Steve's Poke chain on the mainland for a bit and I didn't realize how spoiled I was. I ordered the island bowl and it was very underwelming. Flavours didn't come together properly and the included toppings were so sub par to Steve's. I'm sure there is better Poke in Victoria, I'd go elsewhere.

The bowls are well put together and full of flavour but the size seems to vary. A regular size bowl recently left me feeling like I could eat an entire second bowl, while previously it was quite a pile of food. As shown in my photo, a whole lot of bowl and not much food. If you're hungry get the bigger size.

Twice in a row my avocado was half rotten and completely inedible. The staff absolutely doesn’t seem to care how an avocado looks and just puts it into people’s bowls no matter how bad they are. Completely unacceptable for the price they charge.

Good variety of options for the price. You get to choose several mix-ins and toppings without having to pay extra. The fish was good too, although the rice was a bit hard and lacking flavour.

Delicious poke with crunchy and umami toppings. Requested the tangerines on the side and the service kindly put the portion into small containers.

The bowl was good. But what through me off was the fact that they had tuna and other fish meat sitting outside at room temperature.

Consistently a great bowl. The ingredients are always so fresh and the portion and proportion are ON POINT Every. Single. Time! The store is always clean inside and service is fast and friendly. I am here probably at least three dinners out of the seven in a week because island poké is life.

Honestly my favorite poke place in the city, not aggressive with the upcharges that other poke places have. larger portions than ohana and Ono, more variety of fillings, and less filler in the protein. Staff friendly and knowledgeable and service was prompt.

Very fresh and bright ingredients. I had the Ohana bowl for lunch. A great size and prepared by friendly staff. I will be back. Yum.

Best Pokebowls in town! I always love the selection of different proteins, toppings, garnishes, and sauces available. The staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful towards me and the location is great! I'd strongly recommend checking this restaurant out!

Highly recommend building a custom bowl. The fish is fresh and delicious, sockeye is worth the extra couple bucks. Sauces and other toppings combine to create an awesome flavour experience. I do wish there were some real hot/spicy options.

I got a vegan tofu bowl. It tastes descent. I am only giving it a four star for the price and perceived value. I don't think a vegan bowl should be as expensive as the ones with expensive fresh fish in it. I paid ~17 dollars for my bowl because avocado was charged $2.

Island poke is primarily a sea food bowl/salad place. Also suitable for Muslims looking to get Halal food, as they only bave sea meats such as fish, crabs, lobster etc. They don't have any other kind of meats, no chicken, no pork. They also don't sell any alcohol based drinks.
