I
took
my
daughter
to
see
Anne
of
Green
Gables
The
Musical
at
the
Gateway
Theatre
in
Richmond,
back
in
December.
I
remember
watching
it
myself
many
years
ago
when
I
was
a
young
girl
and
as
she
and
I
have
read
quite
a
few
of
the
"Anne"
books
together,
I
felt
she'd
enjoy
the
show
just
as
much
as
I
did.
The
show
was
wonderful
but
I
was
a
bit
put
off
by
how
late
the
performance
started.
Start
time
for
the
show
was
supposed
to
be
1:00pm
but
the
show
didn't
actually
start
until
nearly
20
minutes.
I
was
also
not
impressed
with
the
system
for
getting
refreshments
during
intermission.
The
lineup
to
get
a
drink/snack
was
insanely
long
and
didn't
seem
to
be
moving.
My
daughter
and
I
gave
up
after
awhile
and
just
back
to
our
seats.
I
noticed
a
sign
which
indicated
that
one
could
pre-order
drinks
for
intermission.
I
wonder
how
many
other
people
saw
this
sign.
I
think
it
would
have
been
nice
if
they'd
advertised
that
option
a
bit
more.
Overall,
an
enjoyable
experience.
We
came
to
see
the
show
so
that's
what
mattered
most
and
the
show
was
wonderfully
done.
The
experience
could
have
been
just
a
bit
more
enjoyable
though
if
the
show
had
started
on
time
and
if
there
had
been
a
better
system
in
place
for
people
to
get
refreshments
during
intermission.
