I took my daughter to see Anne of Green Gables The Musical at the Gateway Theatre in Richmond, back in December. I remember watching it myself many years ago when I was a young girl and as she and I have read quite a few of the "Anne" books together, I felt she'd enjoy the show just as much as I did. The show was wonderful but I was a bit put off by how late the performance started. Start time for the show was supposed to be 1:00pm but the show didn't actually start until nearly 20 minutes. I was also not impressed with the system for getting refreshments during intermission. The lineup to get a drink/snack was insanely long and didn't seem to be moving. My daughter and I gave up after awhile and just back to our seats. I noticed a sign which indicated that one could pre-order drinks for intermission. I wonder how many other people saw this sign. I think it would have been nice if they'd advertised that option a bit more. Overall, an enjoyable experience. We came to see the show so that's what mattered most and the show was wonderfully done. The experience could have been just a bit more enjoyable though if the show had started on time and if there had been a better system in place for people to get refreshments during intermission. Service: Fair Parking: Paid parking Location: 6500 Gilbert Rd., right next to the Richmond Hospital

A wonderful production of Cinderella at Gateway Theatre. An entertaining evening filled with singing, laughter and an important lesson of self respect and respect for others. A twist on a classic story that is worth checking out. Get your tickets before they are sold out!

I was unable to catch the show I originally booked tickets for and the box office were amazing with helping me switch my ticket. I am so so so grateful, I would have been upset if I had spent money and not been able to go. Thank you so much for being accommodating! Also, it is a pretty easy walk from the canada line station which is nice.

Legitimate theatre, rather large and seems to have ample room for stage, and backstage. Parking for the public is undersized and paying. Still, a good place to go see shows.

I love that Richmond has a theatre to host medium size productions as well as indie performances by local dance companies etc. Just wishing booking was a bit easier - online and phone are sometimes difficult to manage. Keep up the good work.

Theatre has good productions and seats just ok. The website is painful to get specific seats. Sound is good and tickets are usually well priced.
