Wow. This is literally one of the best transportation methods I have been on. A little over $9 with a presto card and the convenience of tapping credit card (a little over $12) if you've forgotten your presto card ... And it gets you all the way from Union to Pearson and vice versa on 25 min... The absolute best, most comfortable, and fastest way to get to and from downtown. I was very impressed. Plus it leaves every 15 min, which is very reasonable! Big win for Toronto.

They convenient way to go to the airport from downtown Toronto without having to worry about traffic jams. Make sure that you have your payment sorted out either by using presto or having your tap payment ready to go. They don't take cash. It does get very busy, but if you need to wait for the next train, you're probably more than likely get us eat more easily.

Works well enough and generally runs on time. The train runs very slowly on its approach to Pearson airport, which seems odd to me. Also beware the UP train closes at around midnight. The ticket vending machines have improved in their ease of use and friendliness to visitors who do not have a transit card.

Up Express - Union Station is your ticket to get from one edge of the city to the other. The staff are quite remarkable and help you with the instructions and directions to go from one place to another. Up Express - Union Station is the easiest way to get to downtown and the quickest way to get to the north side of the city. The train is quite revolutionary and it's only costs $4.00 to get to your destination.

Fast and on time, great train service. 'Not serious but sort of' advice: Recommend getting tickets online or be early, because members of the public seem to struggle operating the simplest ticket machines. My man in front of me struggled with it for about 10 minutes, refused help, by 5 minute mark I left for the line to use a different machine and got my ticket will before him so I didn't miss my train. Otherwise: easy to use ticket machines and easy to use website! Choose adult or child, 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or however many tickets you need, then pay! If you have a physical, mental, or intellectual disability please seek help, there are very capable and willing staff members around.

Firstly I need to give a huge shout out to Customer Service Rep Brian at Union Station. On Feb 16th, while disembarking from the UP Express at Union, I realized within a few mins that my AirPods case was missing. I had dropped it accidentally where I had been seated. I found Brian, standing by to help customers and he immediately called the folks on the Pearson Airport side to check as the train had left by then. He told me the likelihood of the AirPods being still on the train and offered to help me look for them when the train would be likely to be back. I was losing hope as the folks on the Pearson side called to say they hadn’t found anything, but we finally found them tucked into the corner of where I had sat on one of the trains Brian had said would be probably the train on which I was returning. 11/10 on customer service - Brian, thank you so much! Your simple act of kindness and reassuring words meant the world to me. On another note, I’ve taken the UP multiple times to and from the airport and it’s the best mode of transport if you live in the city or near the subway line. The concourse and trains are extremely clean, reliable, well maintained and It’s cheap for what it is. Now with this customer service experience I can say I’m super happy to continue to opt for this way to get to the airport and back i get a chance!

The tap-on points need to be on the train. They're super slow with credit cards, you have to hold the card still for 2-3 seconds. This causes a back up at the tap on. I've missed multiple trains due to this. Also there's nowhere to sit while waiting! There's one bench way down at the far end and a little cafe with a few tables for customers. Old people have nowhere to sit. This station is poorly setup.

The UP Express at Union where you can get the UP Express os very organized. There you can easily what time the next train is leaving/arriving, as well as easily see departure time for flights leaven the Pearson. The only problem is that the Balzac coffee opens a little bit late and closes early. From this station, you can easily go to Union Station for connections to other cities and subway.

Union Station, Toronto's historic transportation hub, is a grand architectural marvel. Built in 1927, its Beaux-Arts design exudes elegance. Serving as a transit nexus for trains, buses, and the subway, it seamlessly connects travelers to the city. The Great Hall's soaring ceilings and timeless charm make it a cultural and transportation landmark.

I want to give these guys a shoutout. I was headed to the airport for vacation and I dropped my phone. One of the staff picked it up and held onto it so it would not get stolen. I made my way back (it took a little while) but I managed to get my phone back and not miss my flight. And in general, the service is reliable and easy to use for tourists. Happy to use this to get from downtown to the airport.
