Thanks
so
much
for
the
opportunity
to
comment
on
my
stay
at
Long
Beach
Lodge.
Despite
the
wrong
check
out
date
being
on
our
reservation,
the
first
three
days
went
smoothly.
We
enjoyed
the
serene
setting
especially
with
my
90
year
old
mom
that
I
was
celebrating
my
birthday
and
this
was
our
Christmas
present
to
each
other.
Hannah
and
Emma
at
the
front
desk
and
many
staff
within
room
service
and
the
great
room
were
kind
and
welcoming.
We
ordered
room
service
a
number
of
times,
picked
up
drinks
and
snacks
and
even
ate
in
the
great
room
once.
We
left
our
garbage
and
used
towels
outside
the
room,
and
even
requested
a
refill
of
the
custom
made
trail
mix
that
Emma
arranged
for
housekeeping
to
provide.
We
loved
it
so
much
that
we
booked
for
four
additional
nights
after
three
days
there.
Our
experience
definitely
went
down
hill
after
day
three
though
as
,
in
the
middle
of
my
birthday
celebration,
we
received
a
notice
under
the
door
-
not
a
phone
call-
saying
because
we
had
our
privacy
notice
up
for
48
hours
for
our
health
and
safety
the
room
needed
to
be
physically
checked.not
just
checked
from
the
door
-
but
staff
physically
entering
the
room
and
walking
around
when
I
phoned
to
clarify
the
request.
This
is
not
for
a
90
year
old’s
health
and
safety
as
with
a
little
bit
of
research,
housekeeping
or
the
front
desk
could
have
seen
the
charges
against
our
room
and
tracked
that
we
had
interacted
with
housekeeping,
room
service
and
the
great
room
staff
a
few
times
in
the
four
day
stay.
I
believe
it
is
our
choice
to
refuse
housekeeping
in
normal
times
and
especially
during
omnicron
which
is
more
contagious
especially
as
some
housekeeping
staff
don’t
wear
masks.
If
it
is
not
a
guest
choice
to
refuse
to
have
unmasked
housekeeping
staff
in
their
room,
this
should
be
made
clear
to
guests
before
paying
a
premium
that
this
is
pre-condition
of
staying
with
Long
Beach
Lodge.
I
am
writing
a
second
review
as
I
am
disappointed
that
you
are
now
“blaming
the
guest”
for
misreading
the
housekeeping
message
that
for
our
health
and
safety
you
had
to
physically
go
in
to
the
room
after
48
hours.
I
so
wish
I
had
snapped
a
phone
photo
before
you
whisked
the
offending
notice
away.
Is
this
really
four
star
treatment?
While
we
still
have
our
days
booked
with
you
later
in
the
year.
your
response
leaves
us
perplexed
and
perhaps
seeking
equally
beautiful
resorts
that
might
treat
a
90
year
old
guest
and
family
a
little
more
respectfully
regarding
why
an
unmasked
housekeeper
would
not
be
welcome
to
check
on
our
“well
being”.
