Not as good as I expected. All foods were super salty, except beef carpaccio - which was mixed with some strange sauce that not tasty to me, I prefer the traditional vinegar. Seafood is not very fresh, at least a couple mussels were dead before cooking & with terrible smells, but scallop was very well cooked, strange thing, it seems they have some problems on quality control. Calamari is not bad indeed, but also has salt problem, maybe they want to sale more drinks? Not acceptable to me anyway. We have waited for about 15 minutes till somebody brought water to us, who was very unfamiliar with the menu and had to ask others for our questions. Not a very happy experience and I would like to give 2.5/5 but not 3 if possible.

This restaurant is a must go-to everytime I'm in the city! The quality is consistently amazing which is what keeps bringing me back. You can't go wrong with any of the entrees. Be sure to try the polenta fries, cheesecake and the hazelnut gelato when you go! Plenty of drink options thanks to the full bar, and extensive wine list. From the moment you step into the restaurant to the time you leave, you recieve top notch service!

Excellent venue, great music and the atmosphere is really just warm and inviting. The staff was very cheerful and attentive. I highly recommend their tiramisu. They have big tables also, they could accommodate our group of 10 with no problem in just one.

Iโ€™ve been to many other Italian restaurants before but this place is by far my favourite Italian Restaurant.๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค They make everything from scratch and you can tell in taste and in everything. Just simply amazing! The staffs were very friendly and accommodating, love the ambiance, very elegant as itโ€™s not loud from kitchen noise. Oh! I didnโ€™t have a picture of their dessert but we ordered chocolate torte to goโ€ฆ.The deliciousness spreads in your mouth - that good.๐Ÿ˜‹

Frankie's is a good Italian restaurant. The service is very good as is the food. The best of all is the size of the portions, which are large, and the price, which is reasonable. It is one of my favorite place where I have the best memories.

We went to Frankieโ€™s for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint. The hostesses greeted us immediately and we were seated within 3 minutes of arriving (we did make a reso before hand). Our server (so sorry I forgot his name but he was the older gentleman) was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He discussed the specials last night, one of which was a roast beef and asparagus risotto with au jus (I forgot to take a pic but it was delicious). He was very attentive and always came to check on and to make sure we were enjoying our dishes. The beef carpaccio is AMAZING, the tiramisu is fresh and soft, lamb shank was fall. off. the. bone tender! pizza was great, calamari was yummy, meatballs didnโ€™t have that gritty feeling that some meatballs have - they were tender and seasoned and the drinks were amazing.. just all over great experience. We went to celebrate a birthday in which they brought out the chocolate torte with a candle at the end of our dinner. Thanks so much for having us 10/10 we recommend and will be back.

My wife and I had dinner here as it was close to BC Place and the menu/food/reviews all looked positive. We were greeted and promptly seated in the outdoor patio area. Our server was Lisa who was very nice and proficient. I ordered the Old World Pepperoni pizza and a Peroni. While the beer was nice, cold and in a Peroni glass, the pizza was underwhelming at best. The appearance and taste were subpar. Minimal pepperoni with bland crust and cheese. I didn't finish it all and passed along my disappointment to Lisa our server. I have had enjoyed a wide variety of pizza including both Italy and New York City. This pizza was disappointing and I certainly wouldn't order a pizza from here if that is representative of their product. Great location, good service but poor pizza.

Had a good dinner a Frankie's last night. We had a party of 6 and we called just 2 hours before and they were able to accommodate us on a Friday night. The service was excellent and they had nice dining area. Food over all was good and the drinks were solid. Would not recommend getting the chicken parm. It was actually too thin so each bite was mostly breading. Didn't know you could get chicken that thin :) Everyone else at the table did enjoy their meal.

We had a very nice meal at Frankie's starting with a side of meatballs which we always enjoy. The lasagna was very nice and the sauce was tasty. They had a nice wine list choice so we enjoyed a bottle. Service was very attentive - we never got to the bottom of our wine glasses as our server was constantly topping us off. Super convenient to the Hampton Inn, only about 100 steps away. A good choice on this side of town.

Overall, the restaurant is great! They had some nice jazz music coming out from the bar on the other side of the door. The pasta I ordered was nutritious. The server was nice, and especially generous with cheese and pepper :) the only complaint is that it was kinda dark, even during the day.

Frankie's was one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. I felt like my Nona was there cooking. Food, service and atmosphere are all amazing.

I came here for a quick lunch one weekday afternoon around 1:30pm. When I arrived, I had to wait around 10 minutes before someone acknowledged and a lady was already waiting for her takeout before I arrived. I was seated at a table behind a column, and given the speed of service and that my companion and I had to head back to work after lunch, I was concerned that we might not receive prompt service. After being seated and served water, there was some confusion about who our server was (we flagged our original server down but he asked his colleague to serve us). The server took our order but didn't want to write it down, so she had to come back and ask for confirmation. The gratuitous bread was dry, hard and stale, but the olive oil and vinegar helped (sort of). It's free, so I shouldn't expect much. Our signature greens salad was lovely, as was the chicken linguini. The pesto chicken gnocchi, while creamy, was lacking salt. After the initial hiccups, service during the rest of the meal was fine, nothing to write home about though. For the price, I would rather go to a corporate chain restaurant.

Not bad. Didn't have reservations, but they got us in, in about 30mins or less. Service was pretty good, nothing to rave about. Ordered the beef carpaccio to start, it was pretty good. Then we had the chicken Linguine and lamb shank. The Linguine had A LOT of rosemary, that was the dominate flavor of the dish. A little too dominate for our liking, especially when that's all you could really taste. The lamb shank was good, along with the risotto. Got the chocolate torte to go and it wasn't bad. Wished it would have been a little creamier/smoother.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Kerry was lovely as she served us and gave us tips on what to go and see in and around Vancouver which we really appreciated as international visitors to the restaurant. We have coffee and a nice spinach dip as a brunch snack before we went exploring. The veranda setting was lovely and relaxing.

Went here for my gf's graduation and this place was amazing. I have always walked by it and dismissed it because it was "part" of the hotel. Well I was wrong. You NEED to go here ASAP. Our server was amazing/funny/attentive. The food was amazingly delicious. the drinks were great, the vibe was amazing. Their dine out menu was perfect. OMG their scallops is TO DIE FOR! OK enough ranting, should you go to this place, definitely!!

We stayed at the hotel while in the city for a Lions Game. I expected this restaurant to be a typical pasta and meatball joint. BOY was I wrong!! This is one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at. Each dish was absolutely perfect and had beautiful flavour. The service was top notch.. from bartenders to hosts and servers. I recommend the lamb. Absolutely Devine . We will be back and it is largely to experience more dishes from this Gem!!

Right away I noticed they had a variety on the menu for "vegan" and non meat dishes and I was already wanting to go. I am not vegan but my cousin is "Muslim". The restaurant accommodated him very quickly and they were happy to help. I always look for Quality with a decent price tagged with it and Frankies is amazing for that. Quality food for a very good price. No complaints or anything wrong with the dishes at all. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.

The ambiance was great, the music coming jazz bar next door complimented it very well. As for the food - fresh and fantastic. Everything came out hot and made to order. It wasnโ€™t super expensive either which made our wallets happy.

We spent a week in Vancouver this past summer and this was one of our favourite places to eat! We even ate here twice! First off, this restaurant is beautiful from the moment you step in. The meatballs and risotto balls are unbelievably delicious, and so weโ€™re all 4 main dishes we tried. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming although being quite busy and understaffed.

For the prices, I expected a bit more foods. We ordered the Calamari Fritti, the Spaghetti & Meatballs, the Shrimp Tagliatelle and one of the items on the kid's menu. Love the Calamari, the Spaghetti felt undercooked, the meatballs were great, love the Shrimp Tagliatelle. Our server was very friendly.

We were supposed to go to a food truck event but ended up here and it was such a pleasant surprise. Staff was wonderful and the food, oh my God. The food experience was great! I've been craving a vegan mushroom risotto for the longest time but most places here do it with heave cream. I was able to ask it without cheese and it arrived with the perfect consistency, texture and flavour. They have more than just a few vegan options and my husband had a delicious vegan pasta, which he was very pleased about. Of course the have other options, and our non vegan friends were delighted with the taste and dish portions. The place is fancy and nice, and prices are very good for the service and experience overall. Definitely recommend going there, you won't regret it! And if you go, get the risotto. I'm coming back for sure.

The service was amazing and the food was fantastic. The service was so good that even if you spilled a little Parmesan or vinegar theyโ€™ll wipe it when they see it. Itโ€™s those little things I really appreciate. When it comes to the food, it was rich in flavor and the aftertaste was fantastic. I recommend Frankieโ€™s Italian to anyone who wants a great atmosphere, great customer service and food worth your $$.

What a night!! Best Italian food I have ever had. Philip was superb!! So attentive and made super suggestions. He went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding. The food was stellar! Perfection as I would say! From the calamari , to the lasagna and finished off with a complimentary chocolate desert for my birthday. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back with our next visit to the Vancouver area!!

Frankie's Italian was packed with both a Canuck game and BC Lions game crowd on the same night. Got a reservation via Open Table and had a table in the middle of the restaurant. Our server Darryl was friendly and a pro. He even gave us the evening's chef specials prior to us ordering the Beef Carpachio and the Lasagna. Both dishes were excellent. Great pre game meal or date night restaurant. Highly recommend....

Enjoyed a late night dinner here, could go without reservation, foods came fast and gluten-free pasta was available. Food was very nice and for a hotel restaurant moderately priced. The tables and all decorations were on point also. Would definitely come again.

Excellent service and atmosphere. The food was top shelf, authentic Italian cuisine. We had Nona Maria's Lasagna, Beef Carpaccio and Spaghetti with Meatballs. All outstanding. Highly recommended!

We went to this place on our way to a Whitecaps game, as itโ€™s right across the street from BC Place. It is a warm and inviting restaurant. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Great experience.

Great ambience and friendly staff. The wait staff here is attentive and provided a quick service. Fully aware about all their dishes and we tried what they recommended and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the cucumber beer (the local feature) and the Murphy's Irish stout. They were both great. Highly recommend beer lovers to try them both. For appetiser we ordered a portion of Arancini.... you get three pieces and it was super tasty. We also ordered the shrimp scampi tagliatelle. The sauce was flavourful and the pasta was evenly coated. The shrimp was cooked for perfection. The Funghi pizza is good for two people. The dough was just perfect. The goat cheese and the caramelised onions were a great combo, it helped to balance the taste well. For dessert we tried the pistachio gelato... it was served with 3 scoops. 2 our of 3 scoops were too icy.. the texture didn't feel right. But taste wise it was good. The tiramisu was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Authentic Italian cuisine. Perfect setting for a date night.

4.5 ๐ŸŒŸ great service and food. I would appreciate my experience more if the lighting level is set a little brighter. Even the server serving my table claims it's hard for her to see at times.

Great food and warm atmosphere. We came here after not wanting to wander out of our gitel. The calamari was perfect and the shrimp scampi was the best I've ever had. I polished off both dishes by myself and I do not normally eat that much food but it was too good to stop. My partner had the burger and thought it was great too.

Service was great and very accommodating. But the Frankieโ€™s pizza was way too salty for our liking, had to ask for ranch to be able to eat it. There was also an olive that still had the pit in it and I bit into it, not pleasant.
