Loved it, it was a really fun experience! Each animal exhibit had lots of interesting information about that animal, the train ride was super fun, the park was really clean, and the gift shop had lots of cool things (I bought several items)! Loved spending the day here, I would visit again!

I went here only for the wild lights and it was quite amazing to experience. Got some of my favorite pictures and could see very few animals. Beautiful train journey though. Always keep one dollar for the train. Wondered how they kept the Santa and reindeers on top of the mountain. Loved the detailing in that also to include Rudolph the RED NOSE REINDEER. Illuminated dragon was really good so was the arch and dinosaurs. Overall a great experience.

Its natural content makes the environment beautiful and attractive. The wildlife sanctuary contains a variety of animals. Anyone visiting Kamloops should check this place out. There is ample parking space on site. It contains bears, wolves, eagles, foxes and other animals. It also has a playground for children. The employees are humble and sincere.

Amazing experience with the family. I'd it's sunny remember to bring sun screen! The facility was incredibly clean and the animals seemed happy!

Wonderful little “zoo”. It’s great to see all the animals they rescue and give a second chance to. Fun little maze and train ride

We always have a great time. Recommend getting there early, opens at 930. We absolutely love seeing the birds of prey, and the grizzlies are always putting on a show. The kids love the park and the sprinkler park. Bring a blanket and picnic and set up on the big grassy lawn! We also go every year around New Years for the Wild lights display

It’s a great wildlife zoo, very educational for kids and everyone to learn things about wildlife animals. During the time we went I guess was a bit too hot so some of animals hide inside, however we did see lots of animals. Make sure to get on the train for a quick tour it’s only a buck per person, what a deal. Overall, it’s a place you should visit if you are nearby the area.

Not a bad spot. Great for families. Staff was nice, animals seemed to be in rather good shape.

Always a fantastic experience at the Wild Animal Park. The staff are very friendly, the facilities are amazing, and we always enjoy viewing the many animals at the park. Always an educational and enjoyable experience and every single visit offers something just a little bit different! ... Gets better every time we visit! The Grizzlies were very active today and Uncle Chris the Clown seems to have become a regular at the park and the kids love taking a break and enjoying his antics! ... ... Wild Lights are fantastic! Highly recommend an evening walk through the park!

Really cool place! All the animals are rescues or rehabs. Seems the habitats are a little overgrown but we still saw the grizzlies, the kermodes bears, cougar, wolves, fox, elk, rams, mountain goats and so much more in the 1.5 hr we were there. Go early to beat the heat!

It’s paradise on earth. Such a natural beauty and snow covered mountains. Must visit if in Canada

It was a hot August day when we went, so even in the morning, many animals weren't visible, but we did see a few big ones (grizzlies, bison, deer, wolf). The birds of prey exhibit is pretty awesome and out of the sun. The habitats were generally nice with native plants and shelters for the animals. Our two year old enjoyed the train ride a lot ($1/person, cash only). We were glad the facility rents out wagons as he got tired quickly. There were some interesting indoor exhibits and activities and a cafe too, which gave us a break from the heat.

Empty, deserted feeling zoo? 👎🤔 Me and my partner paid 17 dollars each to visit a subpar and lackluster park that has clearly seen better days. There are a few animals to see but most animals were tucked away from view. The place was hot, lacked benches or shade, and just plain uninteresting. I do support that this place is a non-profit and that most animals come here in a place of need for care but many other institutions such as calgary zoo or vancouver aquarium have done a much better job. The staff seem bored and the whole place is just dead. There seemed to be a farm petting zoo but it was locked and no one was there to operate it. There was also a train but we didn't catch it as the whole place can be walked quite quickly. Overall, regretted coming here and would not recommend if you have limited time or are just passing through kamloops.

Worthwhile. This is great for adults and children alike with a lot of interesting information available on many animals. Got to see Clover the Spirit Bear, which was great, but also many other beautiful creatures living their lives in what appeared to be very nice, well-maintained and thoughtful conditions

Good way to kill a day with the little ones. Bunch of different rescue animals to check out. Even got a train that does a couple loops of the park. Worst part was a cheeseburger I ordered that I'm pretty sure wasn't meat(it was grey and slimy and tasted like freezer burnt cardboard) It inevitably found its way to the garbage after 2 bites. So if you eat at the Cafe order the wraps and not the burgers.

This was my second time visiting BC Wildlife Park. This time we got chance to see less wildlife compared to the last year visit. They actually rescue the animals and treat them. Then they release those to their natural habitat, which is a great effort.

I haven't been to something like this since I was 9 in Saskatoon at the zoo there. This was really cool and I had a lot of fun coming here for the Easter event back in April. So many cool animals and the little train was fun. The guy who carved the stone bear was really fun to talk to.

Great place for kids and everyone to learn about the wildlife animals. Our kids loved all the exhibits. Since we were here on a hot August day, many of the animals were not out and visible. However, we did get to see the grizzlies which was most exciting for the kids. As well as the train ride, which was only $1 per ticket (bring cash). Nice playground area for the kids. Lots of picnic tables in shaded areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Animals are well taken care of.

So much fun! We have been to the Wildlife park in the summer and now in the winter too. It was a great experience both times of year.

Make sure to dress for the sun as it can get very hot. I was shocked to see Arctic wolf surviving here! I wish they had staff around to answer questions or at least more signage. We came on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy. It’s definitely worth a visit!

I've been going to the Wildlife Park since I was a kid and I always had a good time. The last time we've gone (over Easter weekend of 2023), I was impressed with everything they have now. They have an indoor area with neat animals and reptiles to look at, and a stage area outside (where we watched Uncle Chris the Clown perform a magic show). The Easter hunt was great, but they had a great set up that would be a fun day out even when it's not a holiday. There's a small maze, a playground and splash park area, and a petting farm area. The small train ride was a hit with the kids, and it's always great to see the animals. Overall we had a great time!

Great variety of rescued animals Didn't get to see some animals as they were sleeping which is understandable. Commendable rescue work! Too many animals to list! Grizzly bear and cougar are there!

Nice day with young grandson. Well marked with areas to walk to. Well kept and friendly staff. Animals look healthy and well looked after. Unfortunately it was a very warm day and many of the animals were secluded in their dens. Didn’t try the restaurant, do can’t comment on that. Missed the raptor show. Will try to see it next time Very pleasant outing

Love the wildlife park. It's clear that the animals are well cared for. They are all happy and healthy.

Disappointing a bit because when we visited there were no one to give some information about the animals in there The kids loved the indoor section , and the play area outside The tickets were priced reasonably and they provided free electric scooter for seniors

Great rescue facility. Well worth the stop. The bears may be the attraction but there is much more
