I had the sweet salad from Bonobo’s today, and I swear if I was in a bad mood, that salad would have cheered me up. It was like I was eating pure joy or something. I’m a huge fan of eating meat, but I am trying to make a few changes in my eating habits to cut down the amount of meat that I consume in a week. I have been scouring the city and the internet for tasty and filling salads, and let me tell ya, the Sweet Salad is a winner. Fantastic friendly service and I will be going back to try more options later. I don’t know if I would ever be 100% vegan or vegetarian. Bonobos does a great job in convincing me that it is very possible and delicious.

Enjoyed the vegetarian and vegan options at Bonobo's! I got the BBQ chick'n and spicy poutine. The spicy poutine was delicious and had the perfect kick! The BBQ chick'n sandwich had delicious sauces on it and the bun was great. The tomato and lettuce on it were very fresh. Everything is served on real plates when you dine in and with metal silverware. There is a station for serve yourself water.

The interior of this place have a classic rock vibe. This place serves vegan and vegetarian options. We ordered a Veggie Burger, Spicy Poutine and Cauliflower Pakoras. The Burger was amazing. The patty was made up of seeds, nuts and chickpeas. You could get seeds and nuts in each bite and the flavours were so fresh and different. Definitely not the regular tasting burger. Infact a much better, healthier and tastier version of burger. Because of the seeds and nuts, it kind of fills you up pretty quick. We enjoyed our all the 3 dishes. The staff is friendly too! We definitely recommend this place.

They had me at vegan poutine! Talk about a gem of a restaurant; this is easily my favorite eatery in Thunder Bay. Not only is the ENTIRE menu vegetarian, everything can be veganized, and the food is *on point* and delicious. The size of the menu is perfect - there are a few staple items and rotating daily specials, which allows for the perfect execution of menu items. My only complaint is that this restaurant isn't in my home town. If you're considering having a meal here, do NOT wait .. You won't be disappointed!

While parking was somewhat difficult, with a short walk being required to reach the restaurant, the service more than made up for this minor inconvenience. The waitstaff were efficient and attentive, ensuring that our food arrived swiftly, approximately 10 minutes after placing our order. I had the pleasure of trying the lunch special, the Mac And Cheese Burger, and it was a standout dish that I would highly recommend. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a delightful dining experience.

I loved this little place! Exactly what I needed while on my work trip. Quick easy place to sit down and eat. The staff were so sweet and made some killer food! The sweet salad was amazeballs, they did not skimp on the fruit, which really impressed me. If you go you definitely gotta order their friend banana dessert. Super chill place overall, if I lived in the area I'd be here constantly

Delicious food and amazing service !! I’ve been coming here for years now and the quality is always consistent. My favourite is vegan Mac (done once a month) side of their crispy fries with the garlic sauce for dipping! Definitely give this place a try :)

Visiting from the GTA, I was looking for local restaurants with dairy-free options while I visit and Bonobos was on top of the list. The staff was friendly, the restaurant and restroom were very clean, and the food was delicious! I had a banana walnut muffin and the vegan "fish" tacos and they were both out of this world. I'm definitely reccomending this to my family in the area and will come back next time I visit.

The staff is very friendly and the fries are so delicious. My son loves the poutine. The tenders are also tasty. You can’t go wrong with a sweet salad either…minus the mango cause I don’t like it.

This was absolutely the BEST vegetarian burger I have ever had. In fact I have been craving more since I visited. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Bonobo's to everyone, vegetarian or not! I just wish it wasn't almost 1500 kms away. If you are ever in Thunder Bay check it out. You won't be disappointed.

What a great place with great staff. Such a nice welcoming and cozy place. The food is really succulent! My friend didn't even notice that the chicken burger was vegan. The Cashew ice-cream with fried bananas a MUST HAVE!! Great job Bonobo's.

I’d give 10 stars if I could. Really fantastic bite of food and very accommodating if you want to customize you’re order. Highly recommend the sweet salad as a side for any of the burgers

I'm a regular omnivore (not vegetarian, not vegan), but this is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Their salads are always fresh and abundant, and the house dressings are all very very yummy. They also have really good fries, which honestly was a bit of a surprise to me.

AMAZING! This place was everything we were looking for in terms of a hearty vegan meal. It didn't look like much when we rolled up, but it was a delightful surprise inside! It was warm and welcoming with great vibes, the staff were lovely with quick service and the food was divine!
