Peruvian Japanese fusion. Cool & trendy decor and vibe, unique menu and nicely presented items. Nice cocktails, and good service. All the seats are high top bar style, no tables.

This place was suggested by a handsome professor I met while in Montreal. He said it was close to my hotel and they had good food and great cocktails. It sounded like the perfect place to have the last dinner on my trip. Luckily I made a reservation. The tables are bar top and stools…I was comfortable during my meal but that is worth noting if you don’t enjoy dining with those setting options. I ordered the Pollo Frito, Yucca Fries and the Tiradito margarita…everything was delicious. Sauce lovers make sure you order extra sauce that comes with the Yucca Fries. My cocktail was perfectly made. Service was punctual, attentive and kind. I look forward to going back with some friends for drinks and tapas. Hopefully on my next visit they the Crispy Shrimp will be available.

Very nice atmosphere mostly all bar seating, which is different and cool. The food however, at least the dishes I ordered were very mediocre. Bar food for all bar seating I guess. Either way I still had a good time. Mitch was a fantastic server, very tentative and funny.

The food at Tiradito is tasty and is a yummie as it looks. If you want to have tapas and drinks with friends, it’s the place to go (not the place for a full on dinner, as it can get expensive if you have a big appetite). Service is also fast, and the staff is really nice. It was a long time since i ate at Tiradito and I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to go again. The only downside are their seats, which aren’t super comfortable if you’re not that tall 😅

Amazing dinner and drinks! The atmosphere is incredible, and the food is FANTASTIC. I would warmly recommend the ceviche and their pisco sour: it's the closest I've had to the real deal here in North America. I'll definitely go back. Multiple times. ASAP.

I dont usually take risks with food and try new cuisines as I am a very picky eater. But the food at Teradito is out of this world. The combination of flavors and presentation of the food, along with professionalism and friendliness of the staff made our first time tonight a wonderful experience! Hats off to Jason at the bar for very delicious and beautiful drinks! I highly recommend this restaurant/bar

Went with 4 of us tonight and really enjoyed the experience! Knowing it was tapas style food, we did make sure we didn’t come for dinner too hungry, but the meal was still very filling overall. We shared about 10 dishes between 4 people, and enjoyed a wide variety of flavours. Standouts of the evening for me were the yuca fries and the duck skewers. For a special evening or a nice outing with a few friends, it’s a great atmosphere with great food that I think is worth the price, and I would definitely come back in the future!

Staff and food are incredible. Friendly service, they offered to pick the food for us because it was difficult to choose (it all looked so good) and they gave full explanations for every dish we received and they were all delicious! Not to mention the prices are very fair for the portions you get. Will absolutely be coming back and will recommend to everyone I know!

The food was excellent, we had shared 4 of the small plates between two people, plus one dessert. The place was very crowded and quite loud with music but I think it was part of the charm of the experience. We were lucky enough to be seated right in front of a prep station so we got to see dishes prepared and we were able to order directly from one of the chefs there. Loved the meal and would also recommend a mocktail!

Great Peruvian bar/resto. Perfect for a date night or girls night out. Fantastic cocktails and the food was a beautiful combination of flavors. Incredible calamari and classic ceviche. Pleasantly surprised with an explosion of flavors in my mouth with the kimchi dumplings. Always a great idea to ask for recommendations, and I have to say that Sophie did a fantastic job! Thank you! Extremely nice service!

As someone who is a big fan of Peruvian cuisine, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tiradito in Montreal, and it was a truly amazing experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the restaurant's decor and ambiance: the dim lighting, the meticulously placed decor, and the calming music created an intimate setting that was perfect for a date night. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, which made us feel at ease. The food was the real highlight of the night. We started with the ceviche, which was fresh, tangy and had just the right amount of seasoning. The tiraditos tasted authentic with full of flavors from fresh ingredients. The mains didn't disappoint either – the lomo saltado was tender and flavorful while the arroz con mariscos (rice with mixed seafood) was a real standout. The cocktail list was impressive, with a variety of Peruvian and international drinks to choose from. I must say that the Pisco Sour was one of the best that I have ever tasted!

“One of delicious and tasteful dishes I have ever ordered. It’s professional restaurant with pro chef. The quality of dishes are outstanding. I would go there again and again to try various plates. It’s better to order at least two plates. The pork and duck sandwich was mesmerizing. 10/10 “ I would love to try the fish too, it is well known for it. Unfortunately, they ran out off it, so it is better reserved a table beforehand.

The food: excellent. The quality: great. The service: insufficient for this class of restaurant. The crab causa stands out and is delicious. Ceviche; good. Chicken dumplings, average. Recommend the Chicharron Mango Salad. Butifarra sandwich, mediocre for the price. Duck anticucho; value! Octopus anticucho; okay. They are unaccommodating to walk-ins, online reservations recommended. Often your sauce laden plates are not taken away and instead you’re left to your own devices.

This is more a tapas bar than a regular restaurant. Most of the seats are at the bar counter, with few communal tables. The food is fantastic. Mix if Peruvian and Asian, amazing quality and great service. Prices are fair, considering the quality. Good wine, beer and drinks list.

Incredibly cool place! Great lineup of dishes that are ideal for sharing. Very happy to have tried this place out and will be back next time in Montreal. Friendly staff, cool vibe

The ambiance is so nice at the bar, the music and service were on top! My bf asked our server to choose 5 best menus for us at his discretion and I regretted a little, tbh 😅 his choices were okay, but I think he could've recommended better variations/combinations. Ceviche was classic, the octopus anticuchos were also not too bad. I definitely need to go back to try more.

It’s been a while since I have been impressed by food that I was speechless. The dishes were delicious but the highlight for me is the duck skewer. Hands down the best duck I have ever tasted and I just back back from France, lol. The cocktails were also delicious.

Very unique dishes. These are small tapas that are best shared with someone special. A lot of the menu is seafood, which I don’t normally enjoy, but I still managed to find a bunch of great dishes unlike anything I’d had anywhere else. Reservation strongly recommended. It gets busy.

We were referred here by a bartender from another local restaurant. By far the best tapas I've ever had. We had to order the fries to be able to dip in all the sauces left on the plates. We almost had everything on the menu, including the drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxed and service is amazing. The staff really is the heart of the experience. Thank you Emily!!!!

Montreal Peruvian food has nothing to envy Peru. Both Chifa and Tiradito are a great homage to flavours uniquely Peruvian and it's always a pleasure to feast like a queen. Yesterday was my first time at Tiradito and the person who helped me throughout my dining experience was stupendous. Being Peruvian himself, he was knowledgeable about the menu, the classics and was eager to present excellent recommendations. This man is a gem and made it all worthwhile. This man deserves 5 stars alone. The reason I'm giving it 2 starts on service though has everything to do with the poor experience hosting. I stood by the door waiting unacknowledged for about 7 minutes. Employees walked by me, in front of me, behind me and no one said a thing... Eventually someone came to take me to my seat. As I wrapped up my experience, I was looking for the bathroom and went back to the entrance where a group of employees was gathering around listening to one complaint about who knows what. I tried to get their attention three times until someone else behind the bar noticed what was happening. I've said this before: Montreal has excellent choices and hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Poor service is not something anyone should experience.

Amazed to have discovered this gourmet Peruvian Nikei spot! Absolutely delicious tapas. Wanted to try everything, so will be back to try some more next time! Best crispy shrimp I’ve ever had! Drinks are so yummy too. Love the ambiance and decor.

Delicious! We loved the octopus and salmon. Drinks were amazing as well. Was great sitting at the bar and watching the chef work. The staff were very friendly - definitely go.

Besides the difference of the lime flavor (which is not theirs fault), I loved to eat like home! The "ceviche" & the "crab causa" were great! I just wish the "Anticucho" were with the original meat (cow heart). Loved the Pisco Sour!

3.5 stars. Overall a pleasant and fun experience. We were seated at the bar corner close to Mitch which was entertaining, we even received a round of shots for a birthday surprise. The food was a mix of really good and partially average. The most notable items were the chicharrion & mango salad and the duck anticicho which I would highly recommend. The anticucho de pieuvre was good but nothing crazy. The cheese empanadas and kimchi dumplings were mediocre and felt overpriced compared to the quality of the other dishes. The cocktails were sweet and well priced. Additionally, with the layout of the restaurant, would recommend reserving a spot at the main bar rather than a side table facing the mirror or wall. Accessibility wise there is a few steps and curtain upon entry to the building, and all seating are on backless stools facing the bar or wall. Overall a moody atmosphere that I think is best suited for a smaller group looking for a chill night out.

The customer services was amazing. We got a wonderful service. The chef made a special drink for me cause I had a sore throat. Food was amazing as well as cocktails. Reasonable price. I will definitely go back.

Best Peruvian food I’ve tried in Montreal. This place is for tapas though. Drinks are amazing and venue is perfect for dates or small groups. Service and atmosphere are excellent! I will definitely go back! It’s a great place for a little taste of Peruvian culinary art.

Definitely a great find in downtown Montreal! The halibut ceviche, BBQ duck bun and the yucca fries are delicious and go well with the Tiradito margarita. The food has so much great flavor and is fresh!!

Best vibe ever, loved the food, the service and the place looks beautiful. Every bite was warm and comforting and very well thought for, and the drinks and recommendations were also on point. Thanks for a great time, would 10/10 recommend coming here with or without friends !

Where to begin… we were so excited about this place… made a reservation for 5:30 PM to beat the crowds- got seated outdoors, waited 25 mins to order - didn’t happen; walked in and asked to sit at the bar- ordered a beer and cocktail, 10 mins to get them - ordered 4 menu items- all came out extremely salty. Two (crab and octopus) were also doused in spicy mayo and were sitting on top of cold boiled/mashed potatoes (but why???!) - ceviche (their signature dish) took 45 mins and came out looking like it had just been thrown together (some of the fresh fish on top was dry and hasn’t been sitting in line juice at all) !!! quite possibly one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had

Everything is amazing! We started off with Pisco Sour and Spicy Margarita with crispy shrimps, then crab and octopus and finished with duck with Yucca fries 😋 The food and service were outstanding - we got good recommendations from our waitress and she was very attentive. Service is fast and the cook brings you the dish directly from the kitchen so there's a nice connection there. Atmosphere is 10/10 too. Highly recommended

The reservation system is amazing. Reminders, confirmation, and even checking if you are on your way when you are late. Batiste is an amazing host, and Francois, our chef was very helpful and engaging. As a foodie, I asked him about the ingredients and loved being part of the prepping process. All the food Intried was delicious. Papa rellena was well fried, and had a creamy beefy potato center; well seasonned. The yuca fries are fried to perfection. The ceviche was delicious, and the salmon tartar had beautiful flavors, and well balanced. Highly recommended. I suggest you make reservation to be sit in front of the chef at the bar. Walk in are possible, but you will sit facing a wall to eat.

I'm def coming back

Great place to go for drinks and tapas down by Old Montreal! The staff were very friendly and the place was hip and clearly very popular (even on a Sunday night). The only disappointment was that 4 or 5 of the things we wanted on the menu were unavailable (mostly the seafood items which is what we went for based on other reviews). Our bar tender explained that this was due to the Saturday/July 1st rush, which is understandable but did impact our meal. However, we ended up ordering the Octopus, Calamari, Duck Sandwich & Chicken Dumplings, all of which were excellent! Pictured in the photo it the Macchu Picchu (tall) and the Spicy Ponzu - would highly recommend the former, but the latter was a little bitter. Overall a great meal with great service! Very cool to get a look into the process (open kitchen) - thanks for the delicious meal!

One of the greatest tapa places I’ve ever been to! Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious and they had a unique assortment of cocktails as well! The star of the night was the duck bao, it was one of the most delicious things I have ever had in my life! The service was great and it was very aesthetically pleasing too! We also tried the crab, tuna, dumplings and each and every one of the dishes was amazing!

The best night in MTL!! Excellent food and delicious cocktails (duck heart and octopus were amazing) Friendly staff - Sandrine the chef (sp?) was AWESOME! 👏 Would love to visit again to try the rest of the menu 😆

We ordered 2 drinks and 5 plates. The fried calamari tasted so good, very tender, never tried yuca fries before, yummy. Chick dumpling with sweet chili sauce, nice! Because of restaurant inside has red light(there logo) all my pics showed red. Over all worth to go place.

We were recommended this restaurant last minute while on vacation in Montreal. This is a bold statement but honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. And the whole table agreed. We let the server choose all of our meals and each one was amazing. Perfect place for a group that likes trying some unique fusion tapas style meals. This place is a must.

Wonderful restaurant, ultra tasty, perfect dishes, great combination between Japanese food and Peru. It’s wonderful to sit at the bar and watch the waiters cook and explain the culinary history of Peru. Francois has been great, very kind, helpful, just amazing and made the culinary experience even better. We will definitely come back to try more, because right now we are full 😅 but happily full :) thanks a lot for the wonderful experience and see you soon

All I can say is “OH MY GOD” everything was delicious! The vibe was super cool, the decor, communal tables and the shareable food was just on point! We literally tried all the food on the menu and nothing disappointed, including the fries!

I think I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it really makes me feel back home. The flavour is pretty authentic in every single item. If you wanna try Peruvian food in Montreal, this is the place!
