Fantastic place to "bee" in Vernon! They have a small interpretive center, a decent sized store with lots of bee products, and a wine/mead tasting corner. One of the amazing things at this location is that you can actually sample so many different kinds of honey. This makes it super easy when you want to buy a specific kind of honey! The staff at this location is super friendly and helpful! You can see the bees inside the store as well as several hives outside. "Bee" kind to the bees, always, and enjoy your time at the bee farm with your family! Highly recommended!

Great place to learn about bees if you have not visited a bee farm before. They also allow you to sample honey from different blossoms. I was able to check off my culinary experience with the honey from fireweed and orange blossoms. They also have honey from raspberry, blueberry, buckwheat, wildflower, etc. Great for foodie looking for different natural flavor of honey as recipe ingredient.

Cool store for honey and other related things plus Mead. Love the smell when you're in the store and some interesting things for kids. Only negative was the staff member behind the till was horribly curt and honestly should be fired.

The tour visit to a bee farm is an interesting place to learn. The speaker precisely explained what to know about the bees, the different kinds of bees and the role they play especially the Queen Bee to the colony including the complete process of creating honey. The different kinds of honey produced depends on the kinds of flowers gathered by the bees. The speaker further discusses the products they are selling as by-products of the bee pollination. I was hopeful to see at least a bee colony but none.

Planet Bee had a good mix of different tasting with honey. It was interesting to watch so many bees in between a layer of glass while they worked. Definitely will visit when in the area again.

Planet Bee Honey Farm is conveniently located in the city of Vernon limits. Not your typical farm, a beautiful store with an alive see through hive. Make sure you spot the queen bee! This adds to the store experience, which offers versatile range of flavoured honey and meads. Must try the Raspberry Romace.

I were late to visit the farm, so no more presentation after the rest of the day. In fact, all staff tried the best to explain and to introduce all information as much as they can. Truly appreciated the friendly staff provided great education lesson about bee for my family. My 3 kids truly learned a lot after the visit, and shared to their friends as well.

My partner and I were in the area for the day and wanted to drop in and see this place. Fantastic products available. They are also really great at educating you in regards to the life cycle of bees, there is also a tasting station for mead with a gentleman who is very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fantastic. The end result was that we purchased every type of meat they had and are excited to try them all out. I would suggest swinging by this place for anybody in the area. It's a great location and a wonderful business

Such a cute family owned and run business :) Their samples make it so much easier to choose which flavour/type of honey you want to buy. The iced honey is a must buy!

Bees are So important for our planet! Check out Planet Bee to learn all about the super cute little honey bee! An amazing honey bee farm, they have two hives inside even! They make & source top notch honey for your honey! Honey & pollen & wax products. Don't forget the honey mead! My fav is the Acacia Ambrosia one, crazy good!

  • 5/5 Jehezkiel E. 4 years ago on Google
Great honey although a bit pricey. They have a honey-tasting section so you can try like 15-20 different honey before buying some for yourselves. Oh and if you're 19+, you can also have free mead tasting (my personal fav was the Raspberry Romance). And one more thing: they have LIVE honeybees on display!

Great place to take your kids and show them how bees make honey. Besides that, the pricing is fair. Try the Okanagan wild flowers and cinnamon honey!

Went to planet bee. In the past we had a grumpy lady. But this time Avery and Sam! So so sweet, kind and informative. I was hesitant to stop, but I’m so glad we did. Simply for their kindness. Thanks again!
