When I am visiting an unfamiliar town I search for "coffe roasters" . North Roast was 3 km away, great reviews. They did not disappoint, staff recomended a Costa Rican med-dark roast which I'm finishing today, back to the old grind tomorrow. I would really like to thoroughly go through their offerings, maybe I'll get some shipped! Sad photo attached.

My go to place to order for the past 7+ years. I have now left Kingston, but enjoy fresh North Roast coffee on the East Coast. I know I can order fresh coffee and have it within 2 days. They also still sell 1lb bags of coffee, which is hard to find these days!

In October my partner and I got our very own espresso machine and immediately decided that we wanted to start using locally roasted beans for our machine. We tried North Roast and never looked back! Love the fact that they are local, fair trade, and use compostable bags. We've tried a few different roasts, but our favorite is definitely Northern Lights. We have ordered our beans both online and gone in person and each was a smooth and simple process. The fact that if you order before 10 am and they deliver same day is amazing if you're in a pinch! All the employees are so kind and helpful. We hope to continue purchasing their beans for the foreseeable future!

My purchases have been in person, but it’s good to know I can order online and get the order delivered. The folks there are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I love the coffee from North Roast Coffee! Swiss Water Decaf, Long Weekend and Christmas blend are all delicious and I look forward to trying other coffees in the future.

North Roast has great coffee for decent prices. We've been ordering from them for several years and have found consistent quality and good variety of taste. Visited a few times in person, and it's kind of neat to see all the shelving of beans. Highly recommend!

After years of roasting my own coffee on a small scale in my house , I decided to try North Roast coffee to see how it would compare to my roasting. Well, let's just say I no longer roast my own beans. After trying 80 % of their roasts, I have settled on a few favorites. Thors Hammer being one of them, and any Ethiopian beans. For when I have company over. For my espresso drinks in the morning I love utilizing the Manuel line of beans. I find them well balanced and terrific. I usually order on line as the free delivery in kingston is great. But if I am driving by I will swing in and grab my beans. The staff have always been super friendly and willing to share their favorites. The smells are to die for as well. Over all North Roast Coffee has been my only place too get coffee beans for the last 4 years.

We have been ordering our decaf coffee from North Roast for years. We have looked for great tasting decaf everywhere and North Roast has the best tasting one we could find. Friendly, efficient service and online discounts for repeat orders. Highly recommended!

Love love their coffee! Fresh and delicious, this coffee is roasted and mixed here to perfection! The outside leaves much to your imagination but once inside your nose and taste buds will thank you!!! Confederation is my mix of choice.

The Manual Brew decaf is the best decaf I have ever had. Full flavour and no jitters ! The online ordering and delivery are first rate.

I've also picked up my order a few times and they provide quick and responsible service there as well -- all with a smile. Bought my first bag of beans this weekend and they were waiting for me when I got home Monday, roasted last Friday. I don't think you can get any better than freshly roasted beans from a local business delivered for free.

North Roast was recommended to me by a friend a month ago. So happy with them. Coffee is absolutely delicious. They come with a cute little metal clip to seal them once opened and I love that the roast date is on the bag. I like knowing that the beans I’m grinding were only roasted a day or two before. But during the Covid pandemic, my favourite part is the home delivery. I’ve ordered twice this month. Both times my order was on my doorstep in just a couple of hours. Amazing.

Both your coffee and your service have given us nothing but satisfaction. We have been buying our beans by mail-order, from independent roasters such as yourselves for many years. Our last roaster closed his business just over a year ago and we had all but given up on finding another when we came across your name on the web. You did not disappoint. Our basis for comparison is Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. You know how to roast it and you do it reliably, no question. (We have found that many roasters over-roast the beans, making the coffee too dark and awfully hard to drink.)
